I didn't realise dogs were not allowed into the indoor market, so I can't speak for that, but the outdoor market was OK, it seemed to be surrounded by the poor souls of homeless and addiction, very uneasy walking around, so it wasn't an enjoyable trip, maybe I'm too disconnected to appreciate the grunge and turmoil of city life, I won't be back and it's nothing i haven't seen in a lot of other city's to be honest 🤷🤷🤷

Always a vibrant feel in St Nicks. Best food place in Bristol.

I LOVE St Nick's and it's amazing shops and their keepers. Aardvark, Grandma's Toy Shop and Rules of Play are just a few of the gems in this space. The owners are wonderful people running independent shops with wonderfully procured items. Their advice and friendliness knows no bounds. Highly recommend.

Huge variety of stalls and not too busy when I went on Friday afternoon. Lots of very tempting things and a big variety of food stalls.

Lot's of craft and clothes stalls plus books and food stalls and well worth visiting especially if you are looking for bags.

Food hall extraordinaire. Fantastic atmosphere and an incredible choice of different foods. All choices catered for. Definitely worth a visit. Obviously at peak times many vendors have quite long queues to get your food

This is a Bristol staple that has barely changed in years. I came here as a kid and always loved the place. It's still the same, it hasn't lost it's ambiance and charm. There is so much amazing food, interesting things to find and there is not tackiness or pretence. Right in the heart of Bristol, St Nicks need never change.

With its nocks and crannies st. Nicholas Market retains its historical charm in its "olde" market architecture and brings together the stuff you'd expect from a city nic nak market to the cuisine delights of worldly foods. Can get very busy.... but still worth the visit

Always an ever-changing, interesting variety of shops and stalls

A great collection of independent traders with a range of products. Cooking shops, clothing, a chilli shop, fossils and many more. Plus a street of amazing food outlets from all around the world. Highly recommend for a visit.

Interesting warren of stalls and walkways with an array of bric-a-brac stalls and great - covered - outdoor eateries. For men, there is a hairdresser offering cuts at well below the average £17-19 being charged elsewhere in Bristol city centre

Street food!..look for the spanish food, they have paella and churros!!

Great food stalls, but the market itself is still selling the same tat that has been on offer for years. How many mystic crystal vendors does one market need?

1. Great place for tasting authentic world cuisines in one place. 2. Festive mode 3. You can eat in or take away. 4. Halal foods are available in some stalls

Lots of stalls to poke around and buy some novel presents. We arrived just as it was closing so will get there earlier next time.

A nice market with a range of nice, special small business. Unlike those in high street, it is another range of choice. Should be preserved.

This market is very quirky! So many different types of stalls that promote handmade craft from the UK. It's not often you come across places like this, but it was a blessing to see. I did make a few purchases to support small businesses. I will be back later on in the year to explore it some more. Everyone I met there was friendly and polite. Do visit here if you are ever in Bristol! Chukka

Deceptively large market, which is largely indoors. There are plenty of good places to eat. It's good for lunch.

Great market to visit on weekends as a lot of unique cuisines available + ancient fossils and amethyst can be found on sale at the indoor market. Would suggest the low & slow barbecue pulled pork. **It’s quite a big portion

Had a lovely time visiting this market on saturday. Lots of vendors selling jewelry and bags to browse. Food selection was also varied and smelt really good! Would definitely go back to visit again.

Friendly, delicious and a new favourite! Came as a recommendation, did not disappoint. Busy lunchtime rush but I got through the queue quickly. Vegan options were plenty, well explained also. I chose a Sharer bowl and it was huge, loads of options. Mostly the people serving and running it were in a really good mood and made it such a warm, memorable experience 🙏🏾☺️💚

Excellent indoor market plus lots of street food café.

It's an interesting collection of independent artists and scam artists. It's only 3 stars because nobody seems to be quality checking stall holders anymore - there's clearly some stalls knocking out stuff they've bought in bulk from places like Ali Express and Shein. It's a shame for all stall holders in there who work hard on their respective crafts.

As a shopping market it seemed a little strange to me, there is everything but with tremendously high prices. It should be noted that it was the only place in all of Bristol to buy a magnet, in one of the stalls at the back. The food market is great. We ate a delicious kebab at the last stand almost out of the park and a salad with falafel that we also really liked.

Always a joy to wander around the craft stalls and buildings of this ancient markwt place in old bristol. It dates back to before the Norman conquest.

Came here on an early Monday morning when all the places were starting to open. Well worth a visit:; plenty of places to have coffee;lunch from various places in the world;stall holders selling crafting;jewellery;food;candles and much more. A short walk from Temple Meads Station or go on a local bus.

St Nicholas Market is the traditional Marketing Hub of Bristol. Commonly known as St Nicks, The market is situated in the centre of Bristol. Its market buildings are home to the largest collection of independent retailers in Bristol. Divided into three sections; the Glass Arcade, Covered Market and the Exchange. The market is full of unique items. The buildings and streets nearby host a range of other markets including a weekly farmers market. It is filled with shops and food stalls. The market is a rabbit warren of fun things to look at and a great place to buy souvenirs.

Loved it, food was amazing, market stalls were full of great stuff. And nice atmosphere.

Great plate to get different foods, nice souvenirs and different things for the house and yourself! I enjoyed Vietnamese food and cakes as well as found a very nice natural cosmetics store.

This is, without doubt, the best place to go gift shopping. Plenty of knick-knacks, oddities, jewellery, clothes, art, and so on. Even better, within 30 seconds you can be at a cafe or a street food kiosk.

Started from one of the section of the market today and working my way up to the other end. 1. Started with The Olive Works Ltd: they have got a great salads package, great prices too. Chicken fillet salad combo was good choice for lunch.

A lovely market. Some good finds if you look!

Pleasant surprise on a Saturday tourist walk about. Nice selection of stalls, from vintage and second hand clothes to craftwork to antique stuff like books and prints. Found a stall with witty lapel pins and bags. The prices are fair. Even though it looks and feels posh: the stall hosts are super friendly and up for a chat regardless of whether you buy or just browse.
