Had a private party here, was very welcoming and had the best time. Highly reckoned to people. Really enjoyed!!!

We had a leaving do for a colleague at the Den and Terrace and it was such a wonderful night. The team there could not have been more helpful in helping us set up and decorate that afternoon and ensure we had everything we needed for a great event. Paul in particular was super helpful, checking in to make sure we were all happy, keeping an eye on everything so it ran smoothly and at one point even helping to get me through the crowd with a big handful of drinks! The bar staff were lovely and got everyone served quickly. All in all a joyous event and the D&T were a big part of making it such a good one.

TOTALLY RECOMMEND THE DEN AND TERRACE . It is an AMAZING PARTY VENUE !! STELLAR STAFF AND WONDERFUL ATMOSPHERE,., the team here are brilliant and wonderful to deal with and help create the party of your dreams . We just had a stellar media event here to celebrate my 34 years making Natural history films. Thank you Den and Terrace for an amazing party and for being so considered, kind and brilliant . We had our wedding reception at The Den & Terrace and it was a perfect venue! We hired the whole venue, had use of the karaoke, photobooth, pool table and darts. The bar is cool, good atmosphere, great drinks, everyone had a great time. Terrace is spacious and gets plenty of sun. We could play our own music through their jukebox from our phones, and the bar and karaoke areas are separate enough that they’re not drowning each other out. The bar staff were all so friendly and attentive through the whole night - Special thanks to manager Joss for coordinating everything with us! Honestly this place is a gem, everything we wanted and more- would 100% hire out again for another event if they could bear our singing for another night! -Grace & Jay

Always a fun place to be, I especially enjoy it during Sundays when the place is calmer and you can play darts and pool!

Paul and his team made us feel so welcome. Food, drink, prices and atmosphere all brilliant. Great place to watch the Euros. A hidden gem well worth paying a visit if you are in the area.

I have hosted 2 pub quizzes at Den and Terrace now and each time has been a pleasure. The staff are so friendly and helpful. A microphone and projector was provided and seating for over 50 pub quizzers. The atmosphere was incredible and it is always an evening to remember - a big thank you to Joss Bell (General Manager) who helped this all happen! :)

Was in Bristol for a stag weekend. Spent most of our time in this place. Good food great atmosphere, well looked after by all the staff in particular Paul & Stella.

Spent a dew days in Bristol, spent most of our time at The Den and terrace, was well looked after by Paul and the staff, made to feel so welcome. Good food and good prices. Will definitely be back

This is one of the best pubs in Bristol, especially since they redid the darts area. The owner and all the staff are lovely, and always go above and beyond. We often have darts socials as a team there, and they are always accommodating. I have no complaints.

A pub I frequent and am never let down by, good prices on the Lazy Fox beer which is nice, the darts area is great as I love the darts but I feel the seats being placed right under it causes a bit of a ruckus when going to fetch darts. The music player is a great touch and the staff is brilliant. Had my mates birthday there the other day and the staff were really helpful there. For smokers it's a shame the Terrace closes at 9:30 in the evenings but I know that's out of their control. All in all, one of the best pubs in Bristol.

Wonderful, calm atmosphere, with pool tables and darts provided (and at least darts required £1 to rent three of them, which is very good). Had a quick pint, but very cool aesthetic and definitely recommend coming!

Can't comment on food as I didn't eat. But I liked the atmosphere, nice and relaxed vibe.

We booked karaoke at D&T for a birthday party and it was a great evening! The staff were so lovely and checked in on us to make sure everything was ok. Would thoroughly recommend!

Amazing venue! I had my birthday party at the Den and Terrace and had a great time. Paul was really helpful, we brought DJ decks and he helped us sort out the room and set up the speakers for us. Kept checking in to make sure we were all good and even gave us mince pies for my birthday. Chuffed to bits, thanks for having us!

A pub on St Paul's Road, cheap drinks in the daytime until 5pm, a nice terrace and really friendly staff. Well worth seeking out if you're in the Whiteladies/Clifton area

This is a friendly bar in Clifton with early evening  combined cheap food and beer offerings. Better value than most bars nearby. It has a laid back and casual feel / atmosphere. There is music and a juke box. And there is an area with a pool table.

The owner helped me organise a wonderful celebration at the Den. Great communication. Perfect party food. Free karaoke!

Great staff and amazing Tacos on Tuesdays, with pizza the rest of the week I think. Couldn't recommend this place more highly for a relaxed drink with mates, pool or karaoke

Lovely hidden gem of a pub, cheap beers, food looked good, pool table, darts and board games.

Was absolutely amazing. they were very accommodating to our big group for a birthday. Paul was a brilliant bartender and even helped out with our surprise birthday cake. Staff go above and beyond and we absolutely loved it there. 10/10 service :)))

Nice pub! On Tuesdays they have very good Mexican tacos made by a Mexican lady!

We went in for Tacos on Tuesday, shout out to the chef, everything was very tasty and the homemade taco tortilla were amazing! Happy vibes with the Persian society playing music in the background. Lovely night! 😁

I visited this bar for the first time this afternoon and my jaw dropped. It is a very nice setting with very friendly service. Cheap drinks with karaoke, a pool table and much more. Excellent

Really great pub! Big smoking area, games room with pool and darts. We hired out the games room for a private birthday and it was great, the staff are really lovely, great vibes, tones of board games to choose from etc. Shout out to Kate for being the best and most gorgeous bartender ever! Will 100% be coming back again next time i’m in clifton!

So coming from a small town and going to local pubs to moving towards the city centre and being surrounded by clubs and bars this is easily the friendliest bar with homely vibes that I've been too in the area, the staff are polite and helpful and they know their way around a bar like the back of their hand, 100% recommend anyone to go whether it's for a cheeky pint or a few games of pool

Attended a party in one of the areas. Lots of people but staff were brilliant and service was very fast.

It's cheap which is a big bonus! Lots of happy hour offers and drinks are cheap already so good for students! It gets rented out by various uni of Bristol societies for social events and then you've hardly got a chance of finding any space. Haven't eaten there myself but am told the food isn't great and there isn't much variation. However, the 'pizzas' are good as long as you're not expecting a pizza apparently! Think of them as 'not pizzas' (basically ciabatta with toppings) and they're mentally nicer apparently!

I visited this bar in weekday afternoon for watching FIFA World Cup, to enjoy quite time before students come. Nice bar with garden, playroom, many board games….interesting to have ‘ beat the clock’ pricing promotion.

It took 40 minutes to receive 2 pizza which are congelated (so you only need to microwave them). Also, they even messed that up, received Margherita instead of chicken ham... Also, forgot to give me the garlic bread... Prices are low, but that's because the food and drinks are cheap. Even the coke is served from a barrel and it tastes like dilluated coke, just like the McDonald's one when it is warm. Would not recommend if u want to eat or drink. Would recommend if you just want to play board games or pool. Thank you, have a nice day. (from everything I said, the owner seems to not understand the problems (check the reply below) ... So, I should forget about the garlic bread that was never served to me, wait another 40 minutes for a congelated pizza to get ready and drink another "bottle of coke" which transformed into Pepsi. Cool cool)

Amazing little gem. Had my husbands 40th birthday party here. The staff were so supportive and super helpful. Cute place with lovely atmosphere and stuff to do like karaoke or photo booth ( who doesn’t love a photo booth!?).

Waited 40 minutes for burnt pizza and chips. Could see it having a nice vibe and is cheap but was a bit disappointing as other reviews are positive

Such a great venue - especially for students. They have lots of areas to choose from with a TV, games, photo booth, pool tables and the prices are very good. 4 jagerbombs for £14, a pizza and a soft drink for a fiver, pizza and alcoholic drink for £8. It’s just such a nice ambience and the staff were every so lovely! We held a social there and it was really good. Would definitely recommend

The Den & Terrace is a wonderful and very accommodating place for table-top gaming! I run my TTRPG club there one Sunday a month, and they kindly push two tables together for us. We play and get to have chips and pizza, which is pretty ideal! The music is not too loud, and the environment pleasant - they also offer blankets which are great for getting cosy over a long game!

It's ok a bit too studenty. I had the bar staff over rule my jukebox picks a few times

Great vibe... Fantastic terrace area out the back. Real hidden gem in Clifton. Update: now has sky sports and the outside area is usable all year round.

Clean, very friendly staff. Student venue. Great for the rugby when town centre pubs were crowded and all had tables reserved.

Staff were rude. I also ordered a pint of coke and received only a 200ml bottle. It took several minutes to explain that Im short 358ml to which they eventually (with a big fuss) gave me a second 200ml bottle. Not impressed.

We hosted a society social at Den and Terrace and absolutely loved it! Really nice atmosphere and the staff were very accommodating - Jennifer who looked after us was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend the venue to other societies or just for a few chilled out drinks

Great place with a good atmosphere, plenty of cover if raining & heaters if cold. Service was excellent from the App, the staff very welcoming & friendly. Food was good value, served hot and in good time. Covid regulations well observed and enforced, will definitely be visiting again.

Without a doubt the best place for student (or anyone else for that matter) drinks and covid-friendly events. The management and team were all so kind with absolutely brilliant service. I have already booked in again for the next few months and would thoroughly recommend for all.

A really enjoyable evening, the staff were all attentive and I felt very at ease thanks to their strict adherence to new Covid Government guidelines. The pricing was also very fair given the service and settings

Great refurbished bar with clean tidy inside and out. Pool table and juke box. The outdoor decking is ace. Staff are very friendly and helpful and wear face masks, sadly. There is a 10pm outside curfew for the local residents .

Seemed a lovely little pub, very clean and very welcoming until we noticed they were letting 16 year old in that clearly had fake i.d as I recognised one who had only had her 16th a month ago, I made this clear but they didn't care as they said well they have I.d, turned into a rowdy youth club, they tried keeping it under control but we needed up leaving after one drink, shame as we may of been there a while and a couple of visits after that but the rowdy youths ruined it for us, of course I don't want them to lose their lisence but something needs to be done.
