Been here before and it’s always friendly vibes. Martha was extremely accommodating and attentive. Really appreciate her professionalism and making everyone including myself feel welcome.
Staff were nice and food was ok, but tbh was really underwhelming and not worth anywhere near the prices they charge. Some dishes were really under seasoned, bland, and lacked flavour. Terrace area is lovely though and service was quick and friendly. Wouldn't go back.
Visited on a Thursday night.
I have tried to book a Friday for weeks but they were always fully booked.
Food was really good, interesting options most of which were new to us.
Menu took a while read read and digest but with the help of our knowledgeable and enthusiastic server we all chose some thing different.
We shared two starters and some bread which was tasty but it filled me up way too quickly.
4 different mains, all of which came with deliciously cooked rice.
My mate said his choice was the best meal he’s had in a long while.
I had meatballs in a spicy ( not very hot chilli spicy ) sauce that was interesting, tasty and very filling. I brought one huge meatball home with me in a box.
Service was excellent, environment was very much to our liking. Mellow and relaxed. Food excellent. Service excellent.
Criticisms?
Ok, well Tap water was served in a carafe but it was like warm and worst of all, We only found out when it was time to pay, they don’t accept plastic, it’s either cash or bank transfer which we weren’t comfortable about.
The meal including drinks came to about £30 a head.
Give it a try, but book in advance and take cash.
Muchas opciones. Definitivamente volveremos.
I went in there a few days ago and ordered a large size pizza. On the way out I noticed that the pizza was really small and wondered if that was what a large is supposed to look like (note that it was even smaller that a normal regular size) so I questioned the guy who made it. He admitted to make to pizza while drunk so he did not spread the doe properly, saying this while laughing like it was funny. Did not offer to re make the pizza, I had to ask for some of the money back and was looked like I was asking something ridiculous. I was buffled by the service provided and as for why the pizza chef was drunk on shift??? Soo unprofessional! Also the pizza turned out to be raw. I would reccomend the management to reconsider the staff who works here.
Just arrived to Greece! I’m fussy as anything and this food was absolutely beautiful! Staff so lovely done everything for you above and beyond , my partner isn’t usually wowed by food but honestly very beautiful food and friendly staff definitely recommend, don’t look at the negative nancys no pleasing some people ☺️
A damn fine restaurant. We went 2 nights in a row. Staff were great and friendly — atmosphere was nice and quiet as we went during the week. Our favourite dishes were the confit potatoes 🥔, baby squid 🦑 and burrata 🧀. This will be our new regular place when whenever we visit Bristol again. Thanks Met!
I'd popped in to Beijing Cooking Pot a couple of weeks previously - just to suss' it out, look at the menu in readiness for a bit of lunch when I had time. The reception I received was very professional but friendly and helpful, plus the food appeared to be freshly cooked and traditional.
When I returned to eat, all of the above predictions were delivered, slightly demurely, along with some mouth-watering food!
I had the spicy beef salad dish of the day and was asked what level of spice I wanted - I chose medium, which was nice and piquant and made me feel glad that I only chose medium, rather than try to show off and immediately regret it! Quantity-wise, there was a lot there but it was all very well prepared and very tasty.
Aided and abetted by the pouring rain outside, I decided to go for the 'sweet of the day' which was deep-fried rolls with a sweetened condensed milk accompaniment. Despite being more than full I really enjoyed the crunchy and sweet textures and tastes. I did suggest that the rolls would go really well with ice cream.
Definitely recommended! Great value-for-money for authentic freshly cooked food!

Outside beautiful gardens fantastic on a summer's day , well recommended
