The best restaurants in St George West Bristol, City of South West

(edited following reply) Ram is an excellent host, very friendly and makes great food! We got the meat antipasti to start, then the prawn and salmon lasagna and the (red onion as they were out of caramelised onion), gorgonzola, and pesto pizza (which I added pulled pork to). All the food was excellent, arrived quickly and hot, and portion sizes were generous - we couldn't quite finish the mains. Really liked that the menu online has photos of each dish! We came using Wowcher (2 course for 2 + wine for £22), otherwise would have been £51. The atmosphere could have been softer (dimmer and warmer lights) but the candles on the tables were good. Felt a bit too much like a daytime cafe than a restaurant. Overall a great place to go!

Had delivery, curries were very bland, not unpleasant to eat or bad really just not much flavour. Onion bajis were not great, soft and wet on the inside but burnt and dry on the outside

One of the best Shawarma wraps I have ever had the joy of devouring. They make the bread fresh right on the station so it is always perfect! All the ingredients are so flavorful and make for a delightful flavor experience.

Ate here last night. Service was fantastic, food was absolutely fantastic. The ambiance was spot on. What an utter delight. 6 stars Lock Up. Bloody brilliant. Xx

Los mejores chinos en millas, siempre entregan temprano, a veces el sitio web baja / el estado de "viene pronto" aparece solo en comer, pero si llama / retira pueden hacer comida, creo que simplemente están tan ocupados que tienen que cerrar cosas. Fideos increíbles, chili sal de calamar increíble, encantador personal de entrega. ¡Siempre consigue comida para llevar aquí!

Discovered this place after seeing a bosfinesse reel on IG. Went for the Kings XXL Combo with the recommended side of festivals and mac & cheese to share with my husband. There was so much food we couldn't finish it all and were kindly offered a box to take our leftovers home. Best mac and cheese I've had in a long while, and everything on the platter was fresh and delicious. Curried goat is my go-to, and I always choose it above jerk chicken dishes. Saying that, my husband said the chicken was excellent, succulent, and big on flavour. The goat was up there as one of the best I have tasted in Bristol, but not quite the same as my all-time favourite: my late ex mother-in-laws. Friendly service and lovely clean surroundings. Highly recommend and will be coming back.

Toasties have so much potential but I just taste margarine still 2hrs later please change to using butter or olive oil would be a challenge for the best in Bristol then.

Great pub, friendly staff and atmosphere, good choice of beers and ciders, live music, pool table, board games and comfy sofas in front of a real fire.

Chicken fried rice instead of chicken chow mein Salt and chilli chip had no flavour

The service and food was amazing. It’s a family pub where everybody can enjoy. Ordered duck breast and cauliflower wings. Both amazing in taste, michelin star level. Will come back for sure. Thank you guys!

Very nice owners, great tasting Chinese food. I wish there were a few more vegetarian options. But everything is a fair price and delicious. Can recommend highly.

Just stayed one night ,the staff were very helpful and a good night's sleep ,just over the road there's a good aldi supermarket would stay again

I ordered from a place called wing drop that’s located in pizza box. My order kept getting pushed back and pushed back. I rang the restaurant to be greeted by a clueless person who said we can’t cook that and don’t have any drivers. They were happy to take my money but refused to update and tell me anything, until I rang up. Ridiculous place and ridiculous advertisement
