Inviting area. Chilled vibes. Very relaxed.

The George and Dragon gives me exactly what I want.. classic pub vibes with modem bar service & drinks. Staff are always great. Space to sit and chat quietly and at the same time, be in amongst the atmosphere. Added bonus, nice outside smoking area, clean spacious toilets and a pool table.

Great pub, lots of beer and cider choices, great people and atmosphere.

Tony made our experience at the pub so lovely. He was warming and attentive and will be the reason we all return! Fantastic staff at this pub and he goes above and beyond his job role.

Wonderful unaccompanied folk and traditional singing on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. The friendliest of pubs.

Since it’s refurb and take over by Luis and Lukas in the last couple of years this pub has a great atmosphere and some really good entertainment.

It was an absolutely brilliant evening, wonderful staff had a great chat with multiple members. They don't serve food however welcome bringing takeaway in and have both indoor and outdoor seating available as well as a pool table at which we spent most of the evening. Would definitely go again if in the area!

Used to be an EDL pub I heard but now apparently run by the same people as The Farm in St Werburghs... the 4 starts is because it's an expensive pint of Amstel ... £1.20 more than the Whitehall Tavern!

Amazing place and the new owners have made it a really accommodating bar with a great international crowd.

Not the best atmosphere. Doesn't appeal to the locals.

Nice pub, looks tidy. Good selection of drinks, some from local breweries like W&T or Electric Bear which is always nice to see. Pool table and adequately sized garden.

Lovely Pub, Owners and Staff always give you a nice welcome live Music and open mic session is nice,the only downside The Pints are a bit expensive.

We had a drink in the evening, sat in comfortable chairs in relaxed atmosphere and friendly bar staff. Good selection of real beer and good evening.

Very friendly good pub for all ages, I feel very comfortable there. Have only started going to George and Dragon when it changed hands recently as it now looks much more welcoming 🌞

The pub is pretty good. I’m mainly reviewing because I abandoned my coat here and I was really happy that the staff held it back for me and I was a ale to collect a few days later. Legends!

Good beer, friendly & welcoming!

Good selection of beers and nice to see the pool and sport remains. Lots of white bright spotlights means not the most relaxing cozy place to enjoy a beer.

An unruly kid running riot punching people/me was very distressing

A good variety of beers, ciders, drinks and spirits, good service, football games on TV, cozy place and prices are very good too. I recommend.

A large selection of new and used baby items and clothes, something to suit all pockets. At the back of shop a wide range of crafting supplies too.

Local average pub but very relaxing couches

Worst pub I've ever been in. No commentary to football, either silence or a jukebox if someone pays £1. Liverpool biased, not very welcoming, pretty much the worst pub I've ever been in. No food served. Rough crowd. Avoid unless you're a hardcore Liverpool fan and want to meet other Liverpool fans in a quiet dingey pub.
