Paid 20 for a sea food stir fry, was mostly an e pty box of mussle shells, had a starter too ,still really hungry. Was expensive and small portion

We ordered from Siam Smile for the first time tonight and were blown away. The food arrived hot and the flavours were incredible. Every mouthful was divine. My wife is quite fussy with how she experiences food and Siam Smile was beyond positive. She loved the experience and we can’t wait to come in and sample their hospitality.

Really tasty food, lovely fresh flavours. The weeping tiger and nasi goreng were delicious. The dip with the prawn crackers had a lovely kick. Friendly service.

Really disappointed. Very expensive with undercooked chicken. And £7 for prawn cracks!!!! Won't be ordering again £4.90 for prawn crackers not £7. So basically £5 which is still ridiculous. What makes them that special? Pink and chewy chicken that made us voilantly sick but don't worry because it was steam-cooked so couldn't possibly be uncooked. Thanks for replying and letting everyone know your level of customer service.

Lovely little place, one of the best red curries I've had with plenty vegan options, lovely staff and vibe, and great value too!

Got a take away from here for 3 people on a Saturday evening. Prawn toast was the best we've ever had! All the dishes were very fresh with good quality ingredients. We ordered a Thai green curry, jungle curry and gheng jeud soup. Loved everything! Will definitely revisit

Absolutely amazing, authentic and delicious Thai food. Definitely some of the best I've had outside of Thailand. And the service was great too - friendly and quick and nothing was too much trouble. Will 100% be back soon. Thanks guys!

Very disappointing. Tried a duck dish - there was little meat, and it was chewy with a lot of soft, fatty skin. The vegetables and sauce itself was extremely tasty. A shame the meat let it down!

Why on earth would you order Thai food from a place that charges 4.50 for a side of rice? Did you know their dishes don’t include rice, despite the high price? What a surprise to order takeaway and get a dish with no rice. Would that ever happen in Thailand, or literally anywhere else? Nope. Don’t order, it’s a rip off. They are clearly cheating customers when they don’t even alert them on the menu that main courses don’t include rice. This is not only cruel service but manipulative. I hope that charging that much for rice while not even saying their dishes don’t include it (which almost every other Thai place on earth does) causes pain to their business over time. It is THAT unfair to customers to do business this way. Get a clue, my goodness. Food was also basic and greasy. Find another spot! Gross food, gross business practices.

Love this place and have been going here for around 20 years. It never disappoints - the food is always top drawer. They were super busy when I last went but still provided excellent personal service.

We ordered a take away from here, it arrived cold, bland, tiny portions and full of inedible frozen vegetables. We were expecting bold flavours and textures instead we got bland stodge. It was incredibly expensive, we will not be ordering from here again.

Didn't turn up and when we enquired an hour later, told that it's not their problem! Order never showed as being handed to driver and never showed up! Shame as we've been customers for 10 years

I experienced the worst ever racism from the Thai cashier lady. She gave a warm welcome to every British customer but not for me as I'm an Asian. She used to visit every other customers table and check if they needed anything. There was no smile at her face when she came to my table for the payment. This kind of people should be removed from the society except all these bad experiences the food was really good. Comment2: Thank you so much for your response. I'm updating my comments in this same post as I can't post a new review. I completely disagree with you because there was a guy (it seems like he is a student) who was really good in his manners. But this lady looks like a senior staff and was very arrogant. Please educate her on how to treat customers as customers are the pillers of every business. Once again thank you so much for the response and the food I had was really amazing.

This is genuinely my favourite restaurant, and food in Bristol. If not UK. Every time I eat there, food is perfect. Both take away and dine in. Staff are exceptional. Restaurant is beautiful. I Couldn’t recommend enough.

This place used to be so good! Not any more, sadly. Salad not fresh and going brown. Dumplings inedible, just grim. Green curry was tasty but overall experience was disappointing.

This was really tasty. Loads of flavour. I didn't feel like I'd had an unhealthy takeaway after. No nasty oily dishes. Portion was a little on the small side. I ordered for 2 people. Satay chicken skewers, prawn pad Thai, chicken red curry, stir fry beef and egg fried rice. Enough for 2 people but not enough for leftovers.

Food was ok - crab cakes were very nice but underwhelmed by the crispy noodles sadly

The best Thai restaurant in Bristol! Having visited Thailand several times Siam Smile is as good, if not sometimes better! The lamb Massaman curry is outstanding every time and every other dish we’ve ever ordered has been excellent. Easily one of my local BS5 favourites.

Not impressed with the food it was OK there was no presentation at all the flavours, were OK I think this must be different owners this place used to be fantastic I loved it sadly not now, the service was not good as the staff spent more time chatting than serving, you can't but a glass of wine you have to buy it by the bottle unless you fancy the cheap house wine, I won't be going back sorry siam it's not a smile.

Delicious authentic flavours of Thailand! Tom Yum was outstanding, and the red curry with coconut rice took me to the streets of Bangkok, the dumpling and fish cake were also divine. 10/10!!

Super underrated authentic thai restaurant! Love the environment and vibes and everything about this place. Ordered vermicelli noddles with tofu and Tom yum seafood and coconut rice. Great portion and very well valued! A must visit when you’re in Bristol! Menu is extensive as well. A hidden gem!

Fantastic local Thai, even though we've moved away to BS16 we still come back here for our monthly takeaway. Spring rolls and Green Curry the highlights, but all the food is great, and generous portions to boot!

Most authentic thai food outside of Thailand so far. Seriously tasty food. The panang chicken is spot on. Everything was ace. The stuffed chicken wings are insane. Eat here!

Small, simple place serving decent (but not exceptional) Thai and Malay dishes. The menu's descriptions sounded a bit more interesting than our food turned out to be. It was OK, just not very memorable. Service was a bit variable on a busy Friday night but alright overall.

I visited this place for the first time on Wednesday 31st March. What a gem it is. The food was absolutely amazing and the customer service was very good. Highly recommend.

So yummy, so fresh. We've lived in the area for 5 years and always wanted to pop in. So disappointed we didn't come sooner! Everything was fresh and hot and delicious. It will definitely become one of our regulars. Staff super friendly and efficient. Loved every bite.

Quite possibly the best Thai food I’ve had. It seemed maybe a tad expensive as compared to other restaurants until I actually started eating everything and it was quite clear that the quality was very high-end. Khanom Jeeb is one of my favorite appetizers, but it can be hit or miss at most places (with the misses being a bit fishy tasting). Siam Smile’s Khanom Jeeb was perfect, as was everything else I had. Will definitely be making my friends eat here when they visit from America.

By far my most favourite place for a green Thai curry. A bit on the pricey side but it’s soooo good!

Really surprised by this place, I wasn't expecting too much but it certainly over delivered. Lovely, cheerful staff, solid extensive menu, competitive prices. The food itself was delicious and spicy (I've got a decent tolerance for spicy foods so you might want to ask them to tone it down if you haven't), had a good sweat on.

Hate to leave a negative review…..but, this was a Sunday takeaway collection, for beef red curry, egg fried rice, pad Thai and some corn cakes. The food was awful. Could make a better red curry myself, the pad Thai was bland stodge. Th egg fried rice looked completely un appetizing. It was a Sunday so may be it was the chefs night off. We will not be returning. Expensive for the portion sizes too.

Noisy, more like a waiting area than a restaurant! I booked a table but was not told it was a busy takeaway with scant organisation - delivery drivers and people queuing haphazardly. Gave up and asked for our food to go. Left after 30 minutes. The food was awful, smelt like it had been cooked in a drain - went straight in the recycling bin. Will not be returning any time soon.

Very disappointing takeaway for the price. Pad Thai just a bland block of noodles with 4 or 5 limp, sorry sugar-snap peas and a couple of prawns thrown on. Similarly other dishes seemed like a few poor quality supermarket frozen/tinned veg had been thrown into a packet sauce. Sub-standard at this price point

Without doubt the best Thai in Bristol (or most areas); sweet, salty, savory, spicy goodness 😋 Great selection and obviously prepared, seasoned and cooked in-house. Fantastic clean tastes and no grease, couldn't expect better.

Really delicious food, I ordered the Malaysian Chicken curry and it was wonderful! The portion sizes are good and all the food is of great quality. The staff were also really friendly. I will definitely order from here again.

Don't just this place from the outside - open the door and go in and find some excellent oriental food (styled for the British palate). Staff are extremely pleasant. Takeaway is excellent with the product packaged in a way that when you get it home its as fresh as it is if you eat in. Love this place

Best Thai in Bristol. Delicious curry's with deep flavour, and the service is friendly and speedy. Have visited around 5 times, twice dining in and 3 takeaways and everytime we've really loved it here.

Low key atmosphere, authentic Thai feel (from someone who’s lived in Thailand) and lovely food. The photos don’t do it justice, the flavours are fantastic. Friendly service, one of our favourites! Also, I tend to get heartburn and indigestion from many restaurants and take aways but have never had it from Siam Smile ❤️

Have moved to the area at the end of 2019 and have finally ordered from here. Being a big lover of Thai food it was lovely to have a place so close to us and with excellent ratings and it lived up to those too! We ordered two lots of rice, two chicken dishes (cashews and a chilli and basil one) and some veggie spring rolls. Sadly we ended up getting two lots of the cashew dish but it wasn’t a big issue, these things happen now and again. The food was amazing! We will 100% be ordering from them again. Also really friendly staff and an encoring atmosphere.
