(edited following reply) Ram is an excellent host, very friendly and makes great food! We got the meat antipasti to start, then the prawn and salmon lasagna and the (red onion as they were out of caramelised onion), gorgonzola, and pesto pizza (which I added pulled pork to). All the food was excellent, arrived quickly and hot, and portion sizes were generous - we couldn't quite finish the mains. Really liked that the menu online has photos of each dish! We came using Wowcher (2 course for 2 + wine for £22), otherwise would have been £51. The atmosphere could have been softer (dimmer and warmer lights) but the candles on the tables were good. Felt a bit too much like a daytime cafe than a restaurant. Overall a great place to go!

Lovely casual spot for a family dinner. Service & food were exceptional & such great value. Kids were made to feel super welcome. We'll be back!

Really lovely place and SUPER friendly service! We decided to be unorthodox and ordered the bhaji to start and then followed with Pizza. The starter was delicious and it was great to have GF pizza. The veg could have been roasted a little longer but the gorgonzola was absolutely delicious. Absolutely fantastic value for good quality food, will definitely be returning!

If you are staying at the Premier Inn or nearby, this is has a breakfast special with free coffee with the full English for less than £7! Not sure how long that will last.

This was an amazing experience through and through. We had amazing food here, and the customer service is exceptional. I’m definitely coming back, this place deserves to be full to the brim with customers! Such good value aswell.

I had the tomato, bacon and red onion pasta. And also had a Peroni. Really friendly guy running the place on his own. Tasty food and good prices.

Excellent place to eat, with a very friendly service. We ate in, though they do offer takeaway. We shared a lovely antipasti with garlic bread to start, and I had pulled pork for my main course, with bread and salad. We also had a fine bottle of Italian wine and good coffee. Thoroughly enjoyable evening. The restaurant is close to the bus station on the way to Christmas Steps, near the centre. It was well worth a visit.

It’s a very lovely place and serving delicious food. Best lasagna I’ve ever had!! Really worth a visit.

Ram is such an amazingly friendly host, Cafe Assisi is right across from my dance studio and I’m so glad! The food is amazing, such generous portions too. Always the most welcoming service. Highly recommend!

Nous sommes ravis de notre expérience culinaire dans ce restaurant. Le patron et le personnel sont très aimables et très gentils. Ils nous ont offert un très bel accueil. L'endroit est très propre et les bougies sur les tables rendent l'atmosphère très agréable. La carte propose des plats vegan. Nous avons dégusté la salade tomates-mozarella, le risotto aux tomates séchées et pignons de pins, la pizza végétale-roquette-pignons de pins et la pizza pesto-oignons caramelisés-gorgonzola. C'était vraiment délicieux ! Les produits sont bien frais, les cuissons parfaites et les portions sont généreuses. Pour goûter un peu de l'Italie, c'est ici qu'il faut venir !

Such amazing food! Everything is fresh and homemade and the staff are very friendly. This restaurant doesn't get the recognition it deserves as it is not in the main part of town but is one of the best pizzas I've had. Will always get my pizza from here now.

Amazing pizza, the pasta and risotto look amazing too. Will be returning! The owner was very nice and tells us he has been cooking Italian food for a long time, which is reflected in the menu. Delicious food with excellent service

Had an excellent dining experience tonight, cannot recommend it highly enough! Friendly staff, excellent food, lovely wine and super service. Although we only had a couple of the pasta dishes, we could have chosen anything off the menu and it would have been succulent I feel. Being a fairly new restaurant, I urge you to give it a try and you will not be disappointed! Thank you Ramesh and staff for a great evening and the best of luck with your restaurant.

Wonderful service and wonderful Pizzas! Fabulous with children. Great attention to our ta me. We’ve done the “unlimited buffet “ Ona a Monday. All pizzas were cooked freshly to order and they were delicious authentic Italian style! 😋

We went to this lovely restaurant this evening food was excellent. Service was excellent and it’s definitely worth a visit. We were only in Bristol for one night but if we lived here we would definitely go again

A truely lovely Italian Cafe in the centre of Bristol. Very relaxed modern vibe, run by Ramesh, who will do anything to make the customer happy! His food is exceptional and very good value. I had the seafood risotto and it’s actually the best risotto I have ever eaten, I didn’t want it to end! And such generous portion sizes (not too much either). Also very good at catering for vegetarian and gluten free etc. Most things on the menu can be substituted, as I am gluten free but still felt there was plenty of choice. Really worth a visit.

Very clean reasonably priced pizza and dessert. The food was great and so was the wine. Lovely staff as well. The manager was very friendly too.
