Very friendly staff made me and my two little children feel welcomed. Only had beans on toast for my 3yo but we had a great time! They even gave him a lollypop which he was obviously very pleased about :)

A family favourite for an old fashioned greasy spoon breakfast. Decent food, reasonable prices and good people.

Veggie breakfast was leng and had big portions.

Great vegan options alongside omnivorous ones. Vegan options nutritionally considerate. The front of house staff are really friendly and the restaurant is approachable and accessible. I don’t usually write reviews but I really enjoyed the food and the service you should eat here if you’re vegan

I love this place! It's unpretentious and reasonably priced, my go to for veggie fry up. The staff are great and it has a really welcoming feel.

Cozy Cafe, which is run by the dedicated owner. Popular place for breakfast in St George. My omelet was moist with lots of ingredients. You can negotiate options as not everyone is keen to have fries with the morning meal. I will be coming back.

Fantastic visit to Laila. Mega breakfast was huge, very well cooked and really tasty. Staff were very good and food came out quickly but was freshly done. Really enjoyed myself and will definitely come back here again when next in Bristol.

Don't bother going there in the evening not open at 17.30, I thought it was 22.00 closing, Breakfast is good no complaints , Staff are nice

Honestly the BEST breakfast I have had in the uk. Great value for money, huge portions, and absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back. Back for the 3rd time, and yet again absolute delight. The breakfast here is truly amazing.

Awful first experiance. Went in for a breakfast to take away. The lady behind the counter was nice enough but the chef behind (who is maybe also the owner or an employee?) looked blankly at me as i said hello then looked away. Once the food was done he brought the food to the counter and just put it down looked at me and walked away. When i went home i saw he hadnt even added my eggs (to a breakfast!) so im sat here with a mediocre plate of food of which some is missing. Wont be going back.

Friendly staff. I had a great, reasonably priced bacon and egg sandwich with really nice bread (not nasty supermarket sliced). The tea though, was foul - the cheapest teabag imaginable. It'll be coffee next time.

Food quality below average, clearly made from the cheapest deep frozen ingredients. Price above average, around mid-premium. Service passable. Atmosphere and decore all right.

Very nice place for breakfast. Plenty of seats, interesting interior design, feels nice and warm. Reasonable price for a big portion. We really enjoyed the food and coffee. They even have a bar inside if you fancy an alcoholic drink ! :) The staff were lovely and welcoming. I strongly recommend this place. Well done guys.

I ordered from Uber Eats the cheese burger and steak sandwich. The steak sandwich came with fried peppers and onions. Both meals were extreme fairly priced. Both meals were enjoyed. Would recommend! Thank you :)

Usual cafe food done really well, plus some Turkish dishes, all amazingly cheap. The place was busy and most of the customers looked like regulars, right at home, which was a good sign. We ordered fish and chips, chicken burger, omelet and BLT, which came very quickly and were really good. On the menu there were also four Sunday roast options, lasagna, shepherds pie, chicken or chickpea curry, salads, some Turkish dishes and some other things I don't remember. The staff were cheerful, friendly and efficient and there was a well-stocked changing table in the toilet. The prices were so good I wondered how they could make a living, but I suppose it must be because they're never short of customers!

The breakfast was so good. Just look at my photos. Eggs Florentine --- so yummy and juicy and creamy and eggy. Service was really lovely and friendly. And food came very quick. There's also plant based milk for your coffee or tea!

Great service, ambiance and food. We had a family lunch here. 2x full English, 1x Mediterranean breakfast, 1x BLT and a child's meal. Every one of them was perfect. The staff were very helpful, patient and friendly. We will be back to try an evening meal here.

We were a party of 6 grandparents parents and grandchildren. All very pleased with our Sunday Lunch.

Love this place, food is always amazing and staff are friendly. Went in today with my 1 year old daughter and opted for Spanish omelette for myself knowing it would be enough to feed us both and sam plated up my daughter her own little omelette which he does for her every time I take her in.

I took visiting family out for breakfast here last weekend and we loved it. The owners were really friendly and create a great atmosphere. The food was unpretentious, tasty food, really nicely cooked, and the portions were enormous. The coffee was fantastic - hands down the best coffee I've had in Bristol. And the prices were so reasonable, I had to check they hadn't made a mistake and undercharged us. In an area where a lot of the restaurants and bars fall into the two extremes of either rough dives or peak hipster, this place is just pleasingly in the middle - really nice, but not overpriced or poseurishly chefy, and it's a place where I think pretty much anyone would feel comfortable and at home. I'll definitely be coming back.

Always used to come here and since it’s been renovated it is absolutely beautiful In here, always the best customer service , food is always amazing and never had a problem. Even adds the extra little touch🎄 definitely recommend to anyone wanting to come here

Popped in the other day to try their fry up. And everything on the plate was really nice. Propper hand made chips. Nice firm tasty sausages. Good size and Propper bread too etc. Even our Americano coffees were nice and strong. The staff were really freindly and chatty ( always a good sign in my book). Why does a good cafe open up just as I've started to loose a few pounds in weight. Typical 😂😂😂

Very nice family run place with friendly staff and owner. We ate as a couple alongside families, friends and people working on laptops. Great accomodating mix. Food, drinks and cocktails were lovely and priced fairly, our mains and starters were very filling and well presented. Thier toilet is great, full dissabled access and equipment with panic cord. Also full baby changing facilities and very clean. If your looking for a simple and local night out then this is worth checking out.

A really good Cafe at the heart of church road/ St George. The owner remembers everyone and offers a really good service. It's being going for a number of years and if your looking for a full English and a good coffee then look no further.

Good value clean fry up and coffee

Popped in for a cheeky full English and it was one of the best I've had in a good while. Massive portion and the coffee was excellent too. Highly recommend this place to anyone. Will defo be back!

9 of us went in for breakfast Sunday morning and we could not have asked for a better experience. The service was great and the two gentlemen working were very friendly. Food was fantastic and very cheap. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely place wide menu and friendly service

The breakfast here was of a good quality and came with a hot drink, the menu is well layed out and easy to read. The prices on the menu are very reasonable. £5 would get you a decent meal. The interior is typical cafe and kept clean. There is ample seating. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is the condiments were not adequately filled. Highly recommend.
