Without doubt my favourite bar in Bristol. Actually, my favourite bar in the UK. The owner is lovely and makes the best Old Fashioned cocktails in the world. Such a charming, wonderful place to spend an evening. Highly recommended.

Had fun times with my friends here. Will visit again. We highly recommend!

My wife and I discovered this lovely little place in Bristol! The staff are very friendly, there is no shortage of fun board and card games to play, and the cocktails are delicious! I highly recommend the Old Fashioned and Espresso Martini.

we booked it especially for a Sunday evening hoping it would become a regular event. It didn't.

Met up with a few friends and had a great evening catching up and playing games. Service was superb.

Chill vibes, great service and drinks. More places should have swings as seating!! Didn't try the food but the drinks were great. Sadly didn't have time to play a board game but there was a pretty good selection!

My friend and I came here on the 3rd feb for a double date and had such a fun night! The chai martinis are to die for, and there’s a fun doll a dice for a shot game! Thank you for such a great night and hope to be back soon!:)

Quirky little cocktail bar I had a negroni & old fashioned both were lovely. The staff were polite and attentive. The swings were very novel and plenty of board games to keep you interested I would recommend.

It's wonderful and everything, but I had a shot from the mystery shot and I cant stop thinking about it, it was number 17 and it was a whisky and baileys, if someone could tell be the brand of whiskey that would be great because it was delicious

Quirky cafe/bar - only a few tables but many, many board games. The espresso martinis were excellent.

Can't comment on food but drinks and service were brilliant, sooo many games to choose from including some really old ones I liked playing. Very fun to sit on a swing whilst board gaming and do a great chai latte if your vegan.

Super friendly staff, who are really invested and enthusiastic about the place. Lots of cool and quirky drinks options and board game options, the best thing is it served coffee till nine at night so you can do coffee catch ups after work!

Absolutely amazing little bar, staff were so friendly, caught our attention as we walked passed as they were playing my favourite song and I’m so glad we stopped! The staff then kept to that genre of music for us, and we had a great time couldn’t recommend more! ☺️

Small quirky board game cafe with a great range of board games available in a variety of genres. The coffees and teas were decent and staff are very friendly. The space is small and only a few tables are available inside - we managed to grab the big table for 6 of us though.

It's a beautiful little games cafe/bar. Great for small friendly catch-ups and group game meet-ups. The service was friendly and the pot of tea I had was delicious and lasted 3 cups.

Great spot to channel your inner under 30. Swings games and charming staff.

A quirky bar with an awesome varied playlist that fits well with the vibe. My friend and I spent many hours here yesterday playing games and drinking cocktails on the swing seats. There’s a decent choice of fun games but we found often the instructions/some pieces were missing so we had to Google how to play. Or we simply couldn’t play because too much was missing. The cocktails were tasty and unique, particularly the chai one, however they’re quite pricey; so it adds up if you’re there a while. Although, that cost is slightly balanced out by the lack of pay-to-play fee, as in some other game cafes. Would definitely visit again!

What a little gem of a place this is, lovely welcoming place my friend & I visited on Saturday evening staff so welcoming & friendly on recommendation we told the cocktails were lovely absolutely spot on best cocktails ever. Everyone at the tables very sociable too. Only disappointment it closed Sunday evening for couple of last cocktails to end our weekend. Definitely highly recommend this place don’t walk by sit & enjoy the cocktails 🍷

Small welcoming café with delicious cocktails, swing seats and games. We enjoyed a few cocktails here and some rather excellent popcorn. Nice and chilled, just what we wanted.

Great place for board games and for coffee / tea. I have to admit it was the first time I went to a coffee store and the cups were not slightly dirty with stains!

Thought the vibe was nice looking from the pictures. Branding was clean and website was good to use. Reality was a different story. It’s a shame they put so much effort into the branding and so little into the actual experience of going. The staff were cold and so was the coffee. Definitely looking forward to a reply to this regarding ‘the terms and conditions’ or the if you don’t like it you can lump it attitude. Be warned anyone who considers going here. It’s not as nice as it looks in the pictures.

I tried their chai latte, it was cold and way too sweet. I took a few sips, but couldn’t drink any more. The flavour was also lacking. One of the selling points are that their seats are swings. Unfortunately, I found these to be uncomfortable, too high, and too far away from the table. The staff were disinterested and impolite. Looking at the replies left on other reviews, I was a little nervous to be honest about my experience. I’ll end on a positive note by saying that the branding is lovely and the overall idea is unique.

I have yet to visit here but I do have a friend who works there. She talked about it so much that I decided I'm going to visit it sometime even though I live in a completely different country. She said she'll even buy me drinks lol. Anyways thanks Megan!

First time meeting Vince who was the sole bartender for the evening on a first official date with a girl I like a lot - he made it amazing and offered some great drink recommendations as well as being an incredibly funny host - go there regardless but hope you get Vince as your bartender!

The atmosphere was nice. My friends and I had fun. Don’t recommend the coffees, they’re below average. We didn’t spend our deposit, but we were assured that the manager would give me a call back to arrange a refund. I asked to speak to them in that moment to double check the information but we were told this was not possible. When I called the next day, the manager told me the deposit is non refundable. My friends and I won’t return.

♟️ Staff super friendly & laidback & welcoming. The swing seats in the window are too far apart & high up for me & it’s cold over there, once we moved it was better. Absolutely rate being able to chill & have a hot drink of an evening & play some fun games, will def be back.

Nice local coffee shop, they have lots of board games for you to enjoy, so your encouraged to socialise. They have a bench table with 2 swing seats at the front, this can be a little dangerous so take care. Coffee is good, service is very friendly, they sell brownies, pastries, other snacks. Recommended.

Great game selection (without the pay-per-game stuff), magnificent London Fog drink and staff are a helpful hub of love, e.g. my boyfriend lost his wallet and called and they were super helpful even though it turned out to be in his pocket

A truly exquisite coffee bar. What a great idea to have a game cafe with superb drinks. I highly recommend this place for its excellent coffee and fun themed atmosphere. And this place has a great location, right in the heart of the city.

The coffee used to be great here but I've noticed a pretty obvious drop in quality recently. I was quite disappointed on my last couple of visits for that reason, and the music was angry sounding and not relaxing last time, the toilet was particularly foul smelling as well. On that same visit, the brownie I had was dry and the bottom of it was a bit burned too. The staff was lovely as always but I didn't really recognise the venue as what it used to be.

Great little quirky bar, two of the seating areas have swings, cocktails are fab and loads of retro board games to chill with whilst having a drink.

This is a fun and quirky little place! Good coffee, good tea and good booze, plus a load of games to enjoy. I'd say this would be an ideal spot for a date, if you want to keep things easy and fun, or otherwise a great spot to chill and play boardgames with friends

Visiting Bristol we were lucky to discover this hidden gem. Husband is a practised cocktail drinker!! Said they were the best he’d had! Favourite Banana Daiquari. I loved the Sea Spray. One visit wasn’t enough so we returned the following evening to confirm these were exceptional beverages! Great atmosphere & cosy setting. Lovely chat with owner Lily. Very friendly staff. Thank you. This place became my partner's and I favourite hangout in Bristol after our visit this Saturday, we had to come back on Sunday, it's lovely, great atmosphere, Matt, Viv and Alex were very warm and fun, looking forward to be back in Bristol and in playground

There are loads of games to choose from! Also the hot chocolate came beautifully decorated, see picture of the bear and the espresso martinis were amazing. We'd just eaten so shame we didn't get to try some of the foods as well.

Fabulous drinks and impeccable service!

The place is nice, and I used to come here often before the COVID-19, and all of the staff was friendly and nice. However, the last visit was very unpleasant. First, we were told off very unprofessionaly for playing games and that we took them out ourselves and that every game we touch will be in quarantine for 4 weeks (when we walked in noone informed us that we cannot do that and that the rules changed), I understand the rules for safety, but it's not my fault that I was not informed and didn't assume it myself, as prior covid we could play all the games. Moreover, we were kicked out after 1,5h of our stay - the lady approached us at 7:40pm and said she has a booking for 8pm and that we have to leave, even though we were constantly ordering drinks and spending our money there and didn't plan to leave before 10. Again, I think we should have been informed much more in advance, not 20mins. Ruined the evening, really dissapointing. Really bad customer service. All other staff was nice and friendly, and the drinks are not bad, therefore 2 stars not 1.

Just dropped in on a cold afternoon for coffees (and a cheeky Baileys) and a few games of scrabble. Great little spot and a cool swing at the end.
