The best restaurants in Bournemouth South West

Really enjoyed our meal would definitely go back . Don't live in the area. But loved it Had the lamb steak. Excellent . We eat out a lot . It didn't taste repeated like a lot of restaurants

Very less than average for me I'm afraid

Fantastic restaurant. Yet another great meal at Brasserie Blanc Bournemouth. Signature G&T and Caramel espresso martini to kick off the evening Me - escargot, moulds, him French onion soup and pork rib eye. Staff are always so friendly and helpful and just lovely. Food is always amazing. We tried the Ivy but it pales in comparison- all the decor and noise doesn’t make up for Ivy over cooked scallops and cod! Brasserie Blanc is a real gem.

We live locally and visited the Larderhouse on Easter Sunday. Table was for 3pm and we were very much looking forward to one of their lovely Sunday roast. We gave them our order of 2 roast beef's after checking the beef wouldn't be well done. I also ordered a glass of Malbec which I was told they didn't have but offered a different equivalent wine. It then took 50 before our meals came. Only to find that the beef was so tough we couldn't cut it. The roast pots were dry and tasteless, the cauliflower cheese had hardy any cheese in it. The greens were also tough. All in all not a good meal. We complained to our waitress and she took our meals back to speak to the chef. She then told us that she would take one of the meals off the bill. Bearing in mind the beef roast dinner is £26. We then asked for bill only to find that the equivalent glass of wine I was given was £2.50 more. Consequently we paid the bill minus the service charge and left hungry. We were very disappointed as in the past the roast dinners have been excellent. Thankfully it was just the 2 of us as normally we would have taken guests. That would have been very embarrassing. We sadly won't be going back to the Larderhouse any time soon

Lovely little authentic Indian restaurant. Very friendly welcoming staff, excellent food and generous portions. Highly recommend this little place.

Best burger in Westbourne by a mile. 100 times better than Than Lazy fox where the Food was so salty with rude service. Camden is where its at 👌

Run by mother and son! Very homely and very clean and comfortable rooms. Teresa a very good hostess and Zak a good cook.

Good food but the menu choice is a bit limited. Loved the quirky decor and atmosphere, particularly the live music down stairs. Cool outdoor area as well.

The food was amazing ! Some many menu choices. Burgers were super tasty. The cocktail menu was soo good and they looked very cool. Perfect date night restaurant. We definitely be back. Services was super quick too within 15/20mins of being there our starters were out, they gave us time to let food go down before out mains came out. Perfect portion sizes. A little on the pricey side but honestlyi think it is worth it.
