Found some shade in the beer garden on a hot Sunday. Great that the dogs were allowed in too. It was not too busy as most people were heading to the beach, but we had some tasty cauliflower bites, spicy chicken tenders, and fabulous butter/ marmite fries with our drinks. Very very tasty. We will come again.

Food is always really good, sometimes it can be a little overcooked but in overall I’d recommend to friends & family especially the burgers on a Thursday as it’s cheap and cheerful. However, the service is very disappointing every time I go there. You’re ignored for most of the time and have to wait forever for the food (even when it’s quiet!). There is one lady that doesn’t seem to be doing anything every time I see her - walks past you and doesn’t even acknowledge you’re a customer wanting to order a drink or ask a question. Just awful. Ashley cross vibes are much better than the ones at Westbourne - sorry! :/

Service was horribly slow but the burger was amazing

Male bartender clocked me coming to the bar first and then another 2 X girls came to the bar after me. Those two girls was looking much more feminine than me and guess what he went to serve them first and they even got them drinks to the table when I got my drinks shouted over to me to pick up.... How lovely 😂

the food was AMAZING! we had burgers and a few drinks. Our server called Andrew was so polite and lovely. Made us feel welcome. The atmosphere is very comfortable and cozy.. we will definitely make this place our go to for westbourne. They also have an outside area out the back with heaters.

Food is usually very good, and visited several times however, this evening the food was below average at best. Steak over cooked and stone cold and beef brisket tasted like it had been sat for days (dry and unpleasant), onion rings greasy. Front of house amazing and pleasant as always, just unfortunate about the food this evening.

went on monday 27/05 for the steak deal!!! they serve only sirloin but is perfectly cooked.all the steaks at the table were exactly cook to request and meat was very tender with a crust on the edge as it should be. BRAVO CHEF!really good job also cocktails with homemade syrups are unreal and the bar staff makes you feel at home. thankyou will be back soon

What a beautiful little place. We attended on the Thursday evening and the place was heaving (always a good sign in my opinion) We asked for recommendations for the food and what we got did not disappoint. Food was delicious, one of the best chicken burgers I've had in a very long time, massive array of drinks, child friendly, pet friendly. Although they were beyond busy we couldn't have been looked after better. Wonderful little place.

After spectacular weather recently tonight was wet and chilly. The welcoming arms of the Camden warmed me up. I started my meal with a small macaroni cheese, delicious. My main was the vegan chilli bowl now this definitely warmed me up and so tasty. Avoiding alcohol so had two lime sodas no ice! £1.50 a pop so not a rip off like so establishments. All the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Great food and amazing service from Tandi! Outstanding evening with a great vibe! Very quickly we were welcomed and then our drinks order followed. We were settled nicely and then our order was taken for food.. really timely and efficient. Thank you to Tandi our hostess for the evening.

Great local bar! Relaxed and funky place that we love to visit regularly. Especially on 241 burger nights. Tandy gives fantastic service! The burgers are so tasty! Really enjoyed the Philly Steak Burger with peppercorn sauce. Can recommend the Westbourne Rodeo and The Camden Special aswell as the various succulent chicken burgers. At the moment they have a great beer call Square Logic from a local brewery in Wimborne and it’s perfect! See you soon! Xx

Great place for food and drinks

Friendly and welcoming pub. The food was delicious only downside was the slaw in the Korean burger was so nice it would would have been ice to a dollop of it on the side :) .

This was my first visit with friends. I ordered a Mother Clucker burger, the chicken was overcooked and I had difficulty cutting it making the whole burger was very dry and tasteless. Behind the bar and areas in the bar were cluttered and looked dirty. Very disappointing

I went to visit my all the way from London to enjoy Friday night at Camden Bar with very good DJ Alto Persona spinning fantastic dance tunes and the most incredible host, Tandy, who made the evening truly exceptional. Highly recommend!

Went for a family birthday meal. Food was fab service a little slow but all staff very friendly

Their 2-4-1 burgers on a Thursday are absolutely incredible and such great value for money. All the staff in both the kitchen and the bar were fantastic and so friendly. There is such a great, friendly vibe at Camden. I would 100% recommend and will be returning 😎👍

Went here with a friend...on a Monday...it was steak night. Omg the steak was amazing..7oz sirloin, chips, peas and peppercorn sauce...plus a few extras, mushrooms, tomato and onion rings..it was excellent and all served really hot.Service was also fantastic, very friendly staff.. Can't praise this place enough..we will definitely be back.

I ate here for the first time, on a Thursday 2-4-1 burger night. The waitress showed us to our table & then just left us! We waited a while for her to come back but she didn't, she was busy talking to people on the next table & had her back to us, she was not taking an order while she was at the other table....she was just talking! Eventually I had to call her over & ask for a menu otherwise we weren't sure how long she'd be, she was a nice person but not too great on customer service. We both ate chicken burgers which were very nice, but the fries were the worst I've ever had & they looked pretty sad too, they were thinner than matchsticks!! I doubt if we'd return here for food, it just lacked massively on customer service & tiny, tiny fries.

I love this bar it’s such a great layout and vibe, and staff are so friendly and warm. Best thing are the DJ nights too. Always amazing especially recently with DJ Alto Persona, hosted by Tandi. A-mazing tunes, felt like I was in a cool club in Ibiza! Best bar DJ venue in Bournemouth in my view!

I had such a brilliant night at the Camden Bar on Friday night. There was a fantastic vibe. Best underground house DJ I've heard down here since I moved from London. It was such a funky party with lovely sexy crowd, a really friendly scene. I really.like the decor of this intimate bar and the atmoshper is really chilled, I felt totally at home, danced all night and enjoyed meeting great people. Tandi Mandi knows how to get the party raving, she's gorgeous! I'll make this a regular. I highly recommend this Friday night scene to set the weekend on track.

We come to this place on a frequent basis. But there is one “jewel in the crown “ and her name is Mandi!! She is part of the management team and she recently organised a night of good music in conjunction with some of her DJ friends in Bournemouth. It was the best night I’ve had for a long time. Aside from this, I can recommend this place as the best in the area for great food, atmosphere, friendly staff and good times. You will NOT be disappointed!!!!

What an amazing vibe these last two Friday nights!!! Stumbled upon DJ Alto Persona who it turns out - plays there on Fridays from around 9pm and it was an amazing party! House vibes and the amazing hostess Tandi who introduced us to the DJ and was amazing, friendly and helpful the whole time both nights! Both nights DJ Alto Persona crafted amazing sets! Everyone was dancing and having fun. Great cosy interior too! And the whole staff are so lovely! Definitely going there every Friday now!

Good food...a little slow on delivery..but worth the wait

Massive portions of food. A bit of a waste really coz we couldn't finish it all but delicious. Nice cocktails and good selection of wines. Lovely atmosphere. Lovely small garden on the back with tables to sit in the warmer months.

Well run bar that delivers a great range of beers, cocktails and offers some really tasty food. After a long day and plenty of fresh air I really enjoyed their delicious & plentiful bowl of wings, nachos, scampi & prawns. Despite it being full of office parties finishing for christmas the service was first class. The bar staff and waitresses were visibly rushed off their feet but our food came quickly and the drinks came over to saveus queuing at the bar.

Starters calamari and whitebait very tasty. Chicken burger seemed overcooked although lamb burger was good - plenty of everything though. Rap music was awful but was changed to something more audible for of the customers. Lively and acceptable.

We popped in to the Westbourne Camden early one evening for a quick drink. Most of the tables were booked for people eating but Tamdi went out of her way to find us a couple of stools and we spent the entire evening sat at the bar having a few drinks and a giggle. We’d heard good things about this place so thought we’d try it, coming from Christchurch. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed! It was shocking. Vegetarian burger not as advertised (fry thin burger) and definitely not a moving mountain or beyond meat burger as stated as I’ve eaten these many times before so I know exactly what they look like. My eldest ordered a haloumi salad with pomegranate, it arrived without the pomegranate and little haloumi that was cold and hard. The waitress dropped half of my other daughter’s dinner - chips on the floor, and the halloumi side order we ordered came out once we had finished. We are foodies and this for us had to be the worst of the bunch! Luckily Westbourne has so much more to offer, so please go to the Duck or the lazy Fox - 💯 so much better, decent food & service. Camden have two bars, Ashley Cross and Westbourne. Both are good. It's always lively with lots of events and deals. Very relaxed and the staff make you feel at home. Went for 241 burgers but the wings and steaks are great too. Outside space front and back at Westbourne and dogs are welcome.
