I called in to order a self pick up when the kitchen was already closing because my toddler suddenly decided to request for something to eat very late in the evening. The person on the other end of the phone informed me that they were already closing up for the night but when I told her that I was almost desperate, she quickly obliged. I am super grateful for your help, dear lady. I appreciate you and your understanding and your willingness to help. You’re simply the best. We’ve also been travelling with our twin toddlers for 2 days from Europe and they haven’t been really eating well because of the long hours on the road so this really means a lot to all of us. A simple meal, a thankful heart. Thank you!

Ate here the other night with my dad. I'm not too familiar with Thai cuisine so I asked the waitress for her recommendations, which were helpful and delicious. The food and service were both exceptional and staff was very professional definitely recommend!

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had an early lunch and 2as quiet so can't say alot about atmosphere. Will definitely go back.

The servers were lovely the atmosphere was comfortable and homely in a sense and the food was amazing. Don't underestimate how hot the hot versions of the dishes are. I've had several very strong hot sauces and I couldn't handle the hot green curry. It was delicious though and I have no regrets, money well spent will be coming back. (hopefully)

Came here whilst on holiday to celebrate my husband's birthday. The food was amazing and the staff very friendly. Unfortunately we can visit more often as we don't live close but I definitely would come again if we are nearby. Highly recommend 👌

Celebrated my husband's birthday at Tiien Thai Restaurant and not only was the food fantastic, but so was the service. Staff are friendly and welcoming. It's my second time here and my favourite restaurant in Bournemouth!

During easter, we went on a trip to Bournemouth. And found the Bournemouth branch of Tiien. The atmosphere was very professional and tranquil, creating high expectations. And these expectarions were carried out expertly by a waitress named Tamana. She quickly and kindly took our orders and when we had trouble or needed extra food. Even showing us the approximate size of the dishes that we considered to order. The food delivered was excellent, rich with flavour and presented wonderfully. Over all, i wiuld recommend to all, to try this restaurant when visiting nearby, or maybe those that live there.

Summary: decent but overpriced. Service can be better. served raw chicken and had a simple nonchalant apology. I love Thai food and was excited to try this place which apparently won awards. We had massaman curry (amazing 10/10) and Thai basil chilli chicken (average). Low rating because £15 is overpriced for curries in my opinion especially given the small portions. You have to buy sides separately and it’s almost £6 for the TINIEST bit of rice is diabolical. Literally 2-3 tablespoons. Seriously a pack of rice is £1 and you can get several portions so that’s so overpriced. The chicken was not well cooked and was pink. Sent it back and they made a fresh one. Thing is we’d already put the already half the already tiny portion of rice on the plate so that was gone and not replaced. I would have expected like maybe a little discount or extra dish or something. Finally £74 for two people in Bournemouth without even having desert or alcohol is a lot.

We visited the Bournemouth branch. Being a vegetarian we were quite impressed with the wonderful randevu or vegetarian options in authentic Thai taste. I had the best Pad Thai noodles I have ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It is always crowded but has a great seating space and very close to the beach. Love the location and the quality and quantity of food it served. A must go if u are visiting Bournemouth.

One of the very best restaurants I've been to anywhere, anytime. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble for them; it almost felt as we were more family than customers. The only drawback of the experience was that no matter how long I tried to prolong the pleasure of eating that gloriously fresh and succulent food, I had to finish each course eventually. Go there!!

All the Thai food my friend and I had today were top notch! I was so surprise about the authenticity of Thai food here. Talking about spiciness, it is fresh chillies! I love it so much. One down size was that we came for lunch and the restaurant was super quite and didn't have such vibe of a restaurant. We sit in and they turn on the music. Otherwise everything was off. I understand the situation but still expect a vibe when I first stepped in. Was a good lunch, thanks so much! I will come back, probably dinner time.

Amazing food whenever we eat hear

From curries to pad thais this place has had a hold on me since day 1. The bowls and takeaway boxes are full to the brim and packed with flavour. Whenever I fancy a perfect takeaway I have no doubt driving to Tiien Thai is the best decision. I 100% recommend this aromatic restaurant to friends, family and tourists in the area. Thank you Tiien Thai for never dissapointing.

Best Thai restaurant in Bournemouth, on arrival you will receive traditional Thai welcome by lovely hostess, great atmosphere, delicious authentic food and great wine pairing. Walking distance to the centre and the beach. Highly recommend.

A really warm welcome, followed by great service, good food, hearty portions, and a relaxed environment. Service was quick, and all dishes ( Massaman, green curry and stir fried chicken with cashew nuts were excellent.

Very impressed. We thought it was going to be a bit quiet on a monday but it soon became bustly. And not surprising as the food was generous and delicious. Particularly rated the sea bass in ginger.

I picked up a takeaway and it was exceptional! Super tasty. I had my Thai favourite Pad See Ew and it didn't disappoint! Spiced prawn crackers with the chilli oil dip also the best I've ever had. Yummy.

We went on a Monday night expecting it to be quiet but it was buzzing, lovely atmosphere, really friendly and attentive staff. The food was delicious, obviously freshly cooked, piping hot and soooo tasty. The weeping tiger is a special treat!

We were staying in Bournemouth overnight with friends and visited this restaurant as walking distance to our hotel. We love Thai food and OMG this place was amazing! From the friendly welcoming staff and decor. The food was the best we have ever eaten! Generous portions, only wish we lived nearer as it would be my local. I had the green curry with coconut rice it was delicious! My husband had the red curry and it was equally delicious. Our friends had the duck which was huge and so tasty! Lovely place and so friendly

Not even sure what I just ate was chicken! Did not have the same texture as chicken. Genuinely made me nauseous. Probably rat or dog. In response to owner - I ordered from Tiien Thai through Deliveroo! Definitely open, definitely accepting orders.

We used to go here regularly when we lived in Bournemouth. On a recent visit we thought we try again. So glad we did! Went for an early dinner on a cold December Saturday night. Lovely helpful staff. Food was as good as we remembered. We went for a set meal which was good value and plentiful. Will definitely come back next time we are visiting.

Visit this restaurant every time we are down in Bournemouth. The staff are always super friendly and attentive. Food is always delicious and highly recommend it. There was a dog in the restaurant which wasn’t an assistant dog as it had no harness, this was disappointing to see. I used to be a dog owner so appreciate finding dog friendly pubs but this is a Thai restaurant. Overall food and service great but the dog did disappoint my visit.

Service and meal excellent as normal We visit every time we holiday in Bournemouth and would recommend to anyone who enjoys Thai! I’m upset that they allowed dogs into the restaurant and did not ask if we were ok to sit next to the dog. Family members with us are allergic to dogs. This dog was not an assistance dog as if this was the case, I would not have highlighted it to the manager. I do believe the customer who brought the dog may have lied to the restaurant about the dog being an assist dog but no harness to reflect this, as other assistants dogs have and appeared to be a pet. Following highlighting at the end of our meal as we left, I was alerted that our booking was cancelled, which I believe was to stop myself from writing a review via the booking agent. They had a quiet bar space which would have been more appropriate area for the dog.

This was a lovely meal, it was a very quiet time of day which is why I knocked off one star for atmosphere but I’m sure when it’s bustly it’s even better. The food was outstanding and as food as I have had in Thailand, and the staff were lovely and helpful. We will definitely return.

To be honest i was in thailand and spend there month - My Beloved Soup Tom Ka was tasted awfull - was taste like lemon juce, no wegetables but lots of mushrooms and thats all - i iven didnt feel real taste - so to me totaly no. Same with Curry / three times i was returned my curry as meet was raw and was sweetso iven didnt tasted like curry. So to me definetley no as i do not see as there is any Thai food. Will not return there again for sure.

There is nothing better than a decent Thai Restaurant. From the outside the restaurant offers so much and they delivered. It was wonderful food, very well presented and delicious. We felt thoroughly spoilt and will certainly visit again.

Lovely authentic Thai Restaurant next to the Marriott Hotel - within fairly easy (uphill) walking distance of the centre of Bournemouth. Food excellent and staff very accommodating - extensive choice on the menu and the service was just right allowing us time to have a drink and chat before ordering. Would definitely eat here again.

The food was delicious. We are not very familiar with Thai food so had a set menu to try different things. It was excellent - certainly not small portions! The restaurant is very comfortable and the waitresses wore traditional dress. It was my husband's birthday and they brought out a dessert with a candle and they all sang Happy Birthday. A very enjoyable evening.

Just a great tasting meal, polite friendly service and more than enough food on the set menu for two we chose. We last ate here 5 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it then, so good to know the standard remains very high still.

We had a fantastic evening out and the food was plentiful and delicious. We had a set meal for two and two drinks which were the same so it was difficult to get the bill wrong. The bill was constructed as if we had ordered everything separately, approximately £20 more expensive. I assume this overcharging works after a lot of alcohol, business meetings or when a dating couple do not want to cause a fuss.

Ordered the beef Thai basil and some chicken satays and was so tasty! The beef was so tender and flavourful. Lady on the phone was so helpful. Will certainly be ordering again!

From the moment you walk in you're warmly greeted by friendly helpful staff. The atmosphere is great, it's a really large bright well decorated restaurant. The food is absolutely superb! Incredibly fresh, bursting with flavours and spices with really big portions. I really highly recommend, especially for vegans as they have loads of incredibly delicious vegan options.

Good food. Lots of gluten-free and vegetarian options. Portions were not huge, and everyone was still hungry after the meal. Service was polite, although one member of our group was served quite a while after everyone else. Pad Thai was a little bland compared to what I've had in the past.

Tiien Thai is a wonderful place to eat! The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when recommending items for my mum who had never had Thai food before. Absolutely delicious food and their cocktails were to die for (the strawberry mojito especially). Definitely recommend.
