Finally right italian restaurant with right taste ! Love it

I recently dined at Prezzo Bournemouth and found the experience to be somewhat underwhelming. The pasta dish I ordered was noticeably less creamy than what I expected, which took away from the overall flavor and enjoyment. While the ingredients seemed fresh, the lack of richness in the sauce left the dish feeling a bit bland. The service was decent, but nothing particularly stood out to make the visit memorable. Overall, it was an average dining experience – not terrible, but I wouldn’t rush back.

Amazing meal at Prezzo, taken care of by the lovely Callum and Balazs, the whole team were fabulous and nothing was too much to ask for. Food was delicious and came out quick despite it being a busy Saturday night! Lovely atmosphere 100% recommend xx

had a lovely dinner here a couple of days ago, the spinach creste di gallo was divine! very kind and polite staff, our server Janka was an absolute star! the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming, would definitely recommend! will be returning soon :))

I have not been to a Prezzo for some time. We ordered a calzone and a regular pizza, with courgette and olive tapenade, and extra anchovies. Both were good. Side salad and chips. Cheesecake and a sundae to follow. I had a 30% food discount voucher. Otherwise, I feel it's relatively expensive. The restaurant was clean and the staff were great.

Staff are a credit to the brand. So attentive, felt like we were in a Michelin star restaurant.

Food was really bad has the chicken Alfredo tasted of past water no salt or black pepper, had red and green pepper inside really weird. Had raw lumps of garlic in Portion for £16 really small

Yes restaurant is a little run down inside but I've eaten both in and now experienced take out which was just as good and authentic as eating in. Much better than tienn in quality and authenticity.

We had a lovely, impromptu meal out this evening. On entry into the restaurant, we were greeted by a friendly member of staff who took us to a quiet area of the restaurant, as per our request. We were later greeted by Callum, who was clearly working hard and made sure he checked back with us after each course. He really looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a lovely evening, with speedy service and friendly staff all around. Tasty meal with good flavor. We especially enjoyed the Chicken Satay and the Pad Thai. Pleasant service and reasonable prices.

A very clean and well presented prezzo. We visited late afternoon so was very quiet. Food came quickly and well presented. Staff where very helpful.

Personally I think the quality and portion sizes of Prezzo has decreased overtime. A once brilliant Italian franchise has slowly lost its wow factor in my own opinion. I felt on my own dish the cannelloni, the pasta was a little uncooked in places and the sauce was a little dry compared to times I've had it in the past. I would usually have the goats cheese alforna (one of the main reasons I would go to Prezzo) but they have removed this from the menu which I am very disappointed in. Overall the service was great here, friendly staff and the atmosphere was nice, but I think the food let it down slightly. I would recommend going here however, as it's more based on my preference being a little overpriced for what it now has become.

We went in there with 6 people on New Year's Day. Quite excited about a restaurant being open on new yearid1878 s day and we was not disappointed. Callum, who served us, was one of the best members of staff that we have ever had. Service in apprentice food was hot and prepared excelhe took the time to ask us all our names and remember them through the entirety of a member of staff. I should absolutely be front of house in any of the top restaurants. Thank you from Simon Rochelle, Howard Mel and children.

Great service very friendly staff!!

Our first time for the Bottomless Brunch. Let's start with the positives. Food. One of the best menus for food that we have had, and we have done a lot of Brunches. Good choice and large portions. The service was good for the food. The quality of the drinks was great, and a good selection. And now the negatives. The drinks service was slow, and the making of the drinks also slow. Combined with the policy of only one drink each, at a time and it had to be finished, means that your 2 hrs of bottomless drinks gets eaten up quickly. A ploy someay say?!? If your gonna join the Bottomless Brunch band wagon, you have got to have good drink service, some places give bar temders 2min to make a cocktail. This ensures a constant flow. If this is your first foray into bottomless brunches, don't. There are better out there, but the food is better than most.

By the time the food was delivered it was all cold, they forgot our chips and the pasta was so cold it was just oily. Overall not great when delivered.

Really good place to visit if you are in Bournemouth. Food were very tasty so was the service. Demands a visit if you are around. It is on the costlier side though.

A small step above other Prezzo’s I’ve visited. Popped in here for an early dinner at 5pm on a Friday. The ambiance is really nice, with really comfy booths and a spacious and relaxed feel to the restaurant. Felt like a nice treat with proper comfort and ambiance, more so than Franco Manca’s down the road. The pizza was nice, cooked in their woodfired pizza ovens. There are nicer pizzas in Bournemouth but there was certainly nothing to complain about with what they offered here. Good offers to be found as well if you look around!

Turned up at 4pm today, asked politely if there was a table of 5 available for food. The front of house staff member was extremely rude saying ‘no’. No elaboration was given just ‘no’. We were seriously taken a back due to a half empty restaurant- with only a few people seated at tables. Regardless if they could not accommodate walk in’s or business when the restaurant was half empty, manners & respect cost nothing. One of our party did not hear what had occurred & asked what had been said. At which point the front of house staff member very rudely & abruptly interjected ‘I said no, the answer is no.’ There was no elaboration, no ‘sorry we can’t accommodate you right now because of x’. None of us have ever experienced such rudeness from someone working in the customer service industry. Clearly the staff need to attend a training course on communication & customer service before they have a significant & detrimental effect on the business, if they have not done so already. We will not be returning.

Staff was amazing, friendly and helpful and the food was delicious, full with flavours.

Ordered the chicken burger and the chips were tiny, the manager just said that's how it comes, very disappointing won't be coming back.

Arrived at 11:33 after the sign was put out and menus on the table, was told by what I am assuming as a manager (Guy dark shirt, long hair) was told we don't open now, the bar isn't ready and neither is the kitchen will be open more like 1145/1200. Which is quite bad, if your not open, don't put out the sign and open the door. Once we were able to come in the same manager showed us to the table with what appeared to me as a bit of a attitude. Once our waitress came however our experience significantly improved she was talkative and attentive and dealt with our allergy requirements. We still couldn't order food till after 12 however as the kitchen took way beyond their opening time to be ready. Toilets looked very run down by the way. Off the 2 men's toilets, one had no working lock. Overall the waitress was really good but sounds like some management issues lead to many of the issues we experienced. Definitely won't be returning to this prezzo.

It was my first night in Bournemouth, I'd met some lovely people and was enjoying my evening, oh boy that was about to change. I went into the Blue Mango around 11pm ish, I looked through the menu and ordered my food and a JD and Coke. While I was waiting I went to the gents, I've taken a picture of the wall, it's the first thing you see when you walk in, it almost made me walk straight out of the "resteraunt " Isn't hind sight a wonderful thing. I sat at my table and watched the staff, I was the only person in there, they all acted like they didn't care I was hearing what they were saying. I got my food and drink, now I sipped my drink first, my first reaction was to spite it back in the glass, it was rank! My food was just as bad, it had about 3 pieces of chicken in it, the rest was vegetables, a typical trick to make ss much profit as possible. In the end I left more than half my dinner and 3/4 of my drink. I can honestly say that this place is the worst I have ever had the displeasure of eating at. To top it off, at 3am my stomach decided it had taken enough abuse and it projectiled out faster than it went in. How this place is still open I have no idea, how the council allow this to go on is another mystery!

Had a delicious ham, mushroom and mascarpone pizza here. Very welcoming host. Place was very popular.

Mind the 2 high steps to get in. Nice clean restaurant, lovely waitress. Food arrived promptly. Tom Yum soup tasted nice, but wasn’t very spicy (even though I specifically asked for it to be authentic and hot) dumbed down British version, fine for anyone who doesn’t eat hot food, unfortunately. Pity they leave the inedible items for flavouring in it to serve. Lots of it slopped down the side of the bowl as well. Ribs tasted nice, could have done with more sauce. Plenty of them. Chicken satay starter was rather dry, a little overcooked. Minuscule amount of sauce with it unfortunately. Pad Thai with chicken was tasty, no sprinkled nuts on top though. Pad Gra Prow was good, nice flavour, but again not hot, British version. Food wasn’t particularly (temperature) hot when served, so as it went cold quickly we took most home so we could heat it up and enjoy a hot meal instead of a lukewarm one. We asked for Singha beer, as on their menu, unfortunately they only had Kingfisher, like drinking Heineken really. Service was ok, no check back though. I had to wave at a waiter standing at the bar to ask for more satay sauce, only about a teaspoon given with the satay chicken. On receiving the bill I noticed we had been charged an extra £3, just for the 2 more tablespoons of sauce we were given! Hard to know if the bill was actually correct, as most of it was illegible.

I came for lunch today with my 2 daughters. We were the first to arrive (our booking was 11.45) before lots of other families arrive. The lunch was busy as it was the airshow today. The lady who served us was brilliant! She was super helpful and polite. I am a waitress too in a very busy restaurant and I wish my colleagues were more like her!!!! :-) I just want to say a big big thank you as it was my eldest daughters birthday who doesn't like a big fuss and she honestly had the best lunch at prezzo!!!! Lovely food, great kids menu, desserts came out quick and were delicious and we will definitely come again. Thank you for a great birthday meal 🎂🎉

Absolutely awful food! We ordered a meat calzone and truffle fries and an undercooked vegetarian calzone arrived and no fries. The calzone was replaced when we mentioned it with a meat version but not the spicy version ordered and we received regular fries and not truffle. We also ordered the chicken burger which was cold, dry and really unpleasant. We never complain in a restaurant but the lovely waitress realised how awful the food was and without us asking or expecting, she ensured we did not pay. She was really lovely and our rating is reflecting the food rather than her lovely service. While we were there, we saw more food being returned than was going out and the poor lady next to us had an absolutely cremated pizza that should never have gone out. We won’t be returning unfortunately.

The menus just seem too expensive now, if it wasn't for Tesco vouchers, I would go to a non chain restaurant. And the water glasses are annoying, they look like ramekins.

The best meal we had during our recent visit to Bournemouth. Best Calamari I've ever had to start, beautifully cooked Sea bass for main and a delicious Sicilian lemon meringue for dessert. Highly recommended.

The starter was good apart from the gluten free "bread" which was horrible. It looked more like a flat pancake or a very thin slice from a tree trunk. While lots of nice garlicky flavours had been added it certainly didn't comply with the description "bread". The texture was granular and soapy at the same time. Unfortunately I chose pizza 🍕...again same thin slice of wood instead of a pizza dough. Toppings and flavours amazing...please find a better recipe for gluten free. I would choose pasta next time

Nice atmosphere, good location. Food and drinks are nice, but expensive.

Took my daughter here for her 12th birthday. Can't complain about the service or the food. My meal in particular was delicious. (Honestly, try the pork and fennel ragu) Only downside really was how loud it was,.I had ask the staff to repeat themselves alot and my daughter and I struggled to hear each other.

Ordered a gin with lemonade, was given the smallest bottle of lemonade to add to my gin. This didn't even fill the glass halfway. Considering I was paying a tenner for the drink I would expect it to be filled as it would be in other restaurant. When I asked for more lemonade, I was told it was the only lemonade they have (when there was 7up listed on the menu and I was given Schweppes...and the brand wasn't the issue) and I was made to feel like my request was a little unreasonable. Even after given a second bottle that still only filled the glass halfway. Afterwards it just became increasingly difficult to flag down a server to ask for the bill and then pay. After your mains its almost as if your forgotten about and I feel the pasta dishes are overpriced for what you receive. Pretty poor experience overall.

So it was a quiet Friday afternoon but the service was so slow. I think I upset the shift manager (I presume he was) as I didn’t want to sit on the table we were taken too. I just think if it’s not busy and there’s lots of tables and you’re paying then it’s not a big deal, we were still in the same section. It took ages to be served, I mean ages. The shift manager was busy talking to the chef as the only other waitress was running around . Atmosphere wasn’t great and the salad position for a main was small. Infant the fries I got with my burger were half the size of a large fries 🍟 In McDonald’s! It was just really poor, made to feel awkward because we didn’t want to sit on a table that was by the door. You go out to have a pleasant lunch, you’re spending money that you have earned and it just felt negative.

Very unwelcoming and unfriendly service. Staff were sullen. Interior was tired and in need of a facelift. Food was good and very authentic, didn’t have to wait long. Won’t be going back.

I am afraid not has good has the last visit. Drinks were smaller, with lots of ice. Food had little things missing, like cream with your dessert. The salad was mostly lettuce and no dressing. For the price, I'm sorry to say there are much better options now. Probably won't be going again.

Came without a booking, was seated across 2 tables. Mirka served both and she was amazing. She was so lovely , so helpful and cheerlful. She made the experience so much better and was such a great member of staff. She recommended which dessert to get, and it was definitely the right choice!! Mirka deserves some recognition. We loved Mirka !!

We arrived without a reservation and the staff were kind enough to let us in. The food was delicious and the service was fast. It was great that we didn't have to wait so long to eat.

Am disappointed in those prezzo as I love prezzo in London, I had sea bass while previously was amazing this was bland and comes with roasted vegetables and rocket's, only sides available was chips or another salad. My son had pasta with butter it was hard and not even salt, am very disappointed

Went here for a date night and really enjoyed the food and customer service. the food was very fresh and delivered quite quickly. staff were very friendly. Although I ordered a bacardi and cranberry and it tasted off. Other than that, I recommend coming here.

Had pasta with chicken from the gluten free menu. Amount of chicken in it was very disappointing. I asked why. Waitress said only has 4 pieces in it. They were very small pieces, like sliced chicken not chunks. I won't be ordering that again. In fact I may not go to Prezzo again!

Busy at the time we went but still served quickly. There is a helpful menu supplement for allergies with detailed lists of potential hazards and cross contamination which staff will also check if needed. Good selection of non alcoholic drinks, and the food was great. Been a few times, would go again. Space for wheelchair at the table. Didn't use the toilets so can't comment on that but the restaurant was clean, well lit, and generally pleasant for a nice meal after an evening out at the cinema.

Pizza was smashed to bits and cold, everything was cold, and had items missing. For £60 for 2 people, was the worst takeaway experience I could possibly imagine. Get it's valentine's but don't offer takeaway if you can't handle it.

I went to Prezzo last night with a group of 11. A few of us ordered the truffle burrata burger with chicken that came with chips at a cost of £15.95. The chicken was barely edible as it was very overcooked so was very dry and chewy. I wish I had sent it back, but we were there for a celebration and I didn't want to make a fuss The chips were good but the meal was very overpriced. Fortunately, the honeycomb smash cheesecake was very good.

First time coming to Prezzo and we were very impressed. We came on Saturday evening and were able to be seated straight away despite not booking ahead. We had drinks, starters and mains and the waiter was so professional and attentive. The food was hot and tasty. I would definately return!

Last Friday 20th January my husband and I have decided to have our last date for a while as we were expecting any moment our baby. We just sat down and ordered when our girl decided to have grand finale entrance. My water broke arround 4 pm in the restaurant. Lady with short blond hair that was working there was so helpful, ressuring me and keeping my dignity as I was very embarrassed and did not know what to expect as this was my first pregnancy. Team on that day was very calm but this worker deserves all my gratitude and apologies for giving her extra work. I am so sorry I did not ask for your name that day but thank you for your kidness and big heart. You went above and beyond to help me and my little family. Our baby girl has arrived 😍 ❤️

Staff are very friendly. Food was served quickly. All the food was very nice. Sticky toffee pudding had a strong after taste of coffee which was strange and I didn’t like it but my boyfriend tried it and he liked it so it was just me - not to my particular taste I suppose. All in all a very pleasant dining experience

It's an Italian chain restaurant, and as such they offer your base classic dishes, we had a lovely night, the food was served promptly even though it was a Saturday night and the in it self the staff were all nice and professional, Regrettably the food didn't rock my world

I enjoyed my dinner at Prezzo Bournemouth. Lobster & crab ravioli followed by honeycomb cheesecake. Monday evening looks quiet so I didn't have to book.

Pretty good overall, but one of our party's pasta carbonara was extremely dry (we think it sat on the pass under the lights too long). The 'festive' menu was still on from Xmas, but there were no massive savings to be had from it, and most (maybe all) the dishes were available on the main menu, and to make a saving of note was hard work! Another comment from our table was that the crusts of the pizza were very wide.. please be more generous!! Overall though, fairly good. I would go again but perhaps when spring menu is on...

Everything 5 stars wish i could do 10, Food Great, Service Great and drinks like heaven. They had the nicest people really suggest everyone goes there.

The Gluten free menu has an exceptional selection. So many it's nice to be dining without feeling like an afterthought.. The Gnocchi and King prawn starter was divine, and the Hot Salmon Penne main had an awesome spicy kick. Their Coeliac UK accreditation is well earned and deserved.

Obnoxious chap with glasses who refused to sit us (think because we had 2 young toddlers) despite the restaurant being empty. Recommend to avoid if wanting to eat with kids in your party. Front of house staff should be polite. Sorry prezzos but you lost a customer on this occasion due to poor customer service

Awful menu for anyone vegan, I really would not go back because all the vegetable centred food contains dairy, even the chips. There were a few vegan options, I had a very disappointing fake chicken pizza with a few slices of pepper and sprinkling of fake cheese. Could not finish it. I have had better pizza from Dominoes. Waiting staff were lovely but my friends eating fish also thought their food was sub par.

Stopped in here yesterday after my sons graduation and was blown away by how good this place is the staff and food we're amazing and a big shout out to the chef who made are food he couldn't have been more helpful what a lunch!!!!

Prezzo, a chain restaurant that are branding themselves as an “Italian restaurant”. Ordered our drinks and when to order the food, my partner was tempted to get the lobster ravioli but the waiter warned him it will not be as big of a main course as you’d hope for £17,50… and he was absolutely right!!! He was literally served 5 small size frozen “lobster” ravioli in a sauce that tasted like watery milk. BUT, the best part is yet to come! We have asked for some parmesan cheese to go on top, to which the waitress said they used to have parmesan 3 years ago, but not anymore and now they have this “hard cheese” option, which isn’t even dairy!! Wait, what??? An italian restaurant without parmesan? Poor italians would consider this a mortal sin😅 For the price you’re paying the food should be better quality and most definitely real parmesan would be required!

Excellent, friendly service from start to finish and delicious, fresh food. We were a large party of 12 on a busy Saturday night and staff went out of their way to ensure we could sit together. We were all very impressed.

The service was good but unfortunately the food tarnished what was good! The food wasn’t the best I have ever had, the food was loop warm and didn’t really have much taste to it. Luckily we had our taste card and it didn’t cost to much but wouldn’t of paid full price for this!

Bad expirence! Let's start with the garlic bread, with onions and mozzarella it was completely white, not done properly. We ordered Chicken alftredo tagliatelle No flavour at all, so plain not even added salt. Added salt and pepper that was on a table but that didn't help. Couldn't eat it Tagliatelle was way to soft The chef has no idea how to cook Italian food, or any food in that matter We ordered as well the aubergine bake dish, that was okay. The staff was doing the good job, however the front of the restaurant person was wearing the tracking shoes, are you first impression of the restaurant or on a mountain hike? Do not recommend.
