This could be so nice it just left us feeling disappointed First impressions it felt a bit grubby Met and seated ok How ever the 4 main meals were served with 5 minute intervals after the initial two were served very by a very unhappy waitress At best we all agreed the meals were average as to a wow factor we were expecting from such a respected restaurant We shall not be returning any time soon

Great ambience, service and staff. The food was amazing, recommend the Bouillabaisse ! I would definitely visit again. Bonus was watching the fireworks on the pier, from the terrace at 10pm.

Enjoyed a delicious spur-of-the-moment lunch whilst walking past Brasserie Blanc restaurant (by Raymond Blanc). They were fully booked for that evening, a Friday, so I did well to grab the opportunity of a late lunch there to see what it was like. The staff were great, Justin made sure I had everything I needed. The fresh Trout dish with mash was absolutely delicious. The wine pairing was lovely with it too. It felt relaxed and easy to eat here. There is a lovely outdoor terrace area, with super sea views, for dining and drinks too. A smashing bar with a plush cosy feel and great Happy Hour offers as well!

We enjoyed our evening meal at Brasserie Blanc Bournemouth yesterday evening. The service was professional amd not intrusive. After ordering, we noticed a specials board being shown to another table by another waiter. Our waiter did not show us the evening specials. My children thoughly enjoyed their steaks. Cooked how they like them, rare and medium. Also commenting on how the dish was presented. My mother enjoyed the trout, but said it did taste a little dry. I had the bouillabaisse. Upon first impressions it looked and smelt really good. And indeed i thoughly enjoyed the dish. But unfortunately the langoustine and king prawn only contained the heads, with no edible parts for me to enjoy. The bouillabaisse was a good size portion, containing all other fish and vegetables stated on the menu. My initial thought at the time was slight disappointment. Rationalising, that more than likely, the bouillabaisse would be ladled from a large pot to my dish and therefore having a langoustine or king prawn in its entirety may not always be plausible. So I did not make my disappointment known to the waiter at the time. But when leaving and noticing a photo showing the bouillabaisse on a promotional 'A' board by the entrance.. it showed both with the edible parts present. I later looked at user review photos online. It too showed both langoustine and king prawn how it was pictured on the promotional board. So upon reflection, my initial disappointment seem to be justified. I should of made my thoughts clear at the time, rather than giving the benefit of doubt. I do hope this doesn't happen to others when ordering this lovely dish. The crumble and chocolate mousse was enjoyed by all and my cheeseboard was fantastic.

Great location, view, and atmosphere. Well kept restaurant with a cozy but cheerful atmosphere. Located in the Marriott, it is easily accessed by hotel occupants, or even from the beach. Highly recommended as the food was very homey and very tasteful. Wait staff are friendly and food is very reasonably priced for the location and quality of food. No constructive feedback, good job!

We booked a big group dinner of 48 people for our wedding and Brasserie Blanc staff were amazing! The food was amazing and all our guest said the same thing and the service was great. I can’t wait to go there again.

A lovely location. However a slightly underwhelming experience- everything was okay but we were hoping, and expecting, a more special evening for the price we paid. My seafood bouillabaisse promised so much but didn’t deliver on flavour plus I received a langoustine head but no actual langoustine 😢 and two very crispy pieces of bread. The fillet steak was cooked to perfection as was the sea bream - but our request to fillet the fish before serving was refused. Deserts were fine, again nothing special and far too much grit on top of the yummy chocolate and orange mousse.

Booked a special treat for my husbands 50th. 3hrs after eating the meal, we both suffered from the most extreme food poisoning for the following 12hrs before we could actually keep water down. We are so ill. It's absolutely ruined our special trip. They were supposed to call us today, they haven't! I wasn't pleased with the service. Telling me I had eaten my food so quickly, I asked for a,second wine, where he picked up my glass and said "in the same glass " he also talked so loud embarrassing us that we had a Birgin Experience voucher. Couldn't be more unhappy. Will be taking this to the food agency and the hotel as they are ignoring us!

Food was spot in and service was good, will visit again to try what I also wanted bit had to make decision!

Had lunch with my family. Good location with stunning view of the beach and sea. Pork belly Sunday roast was juicy and tender. The roast beef would be better if they are more generous with the meat. Pistachio Soufflé highly recommended. The risotto in the king prawns dish was a bit bland though. Overall 4.5 stars ✨

We had 7 persons and were put in the corner comfortably. All dishes we ordered were tasty except the King Prawn with black rice. The black rice didn’t come with taste of prawn. But the pistachio soufflé was excellent that’s why I gave a rating of 5.

I’m so glad I chose to use my Virgin Experience voucher at Brassiere Blanc! My partner and I enjoyed a delicious 3-course lunch from the spring menu (the pistachio soufflé was simply divine!) - with beautiful, far-reaching sea views across the bay. Justin, our waiter, was absolutely first class and we were very well looked after from start to finish. Overall, an exceptional experience and we cannot wait to come back to this delightful restaurant!

I recently had my birthday dinner there and I must say it was perfect! The food was delicious, drinks were amazing, atmosphere was lovely and most importantly our service was excellent! We were very well taken care of and upon arrival I received a glass of Prosecco. Very impressed with the service and it truly made the whole evening really enjoyable and relaxing. The gentleman that served us was very attentive, helpful and so kind. Will definitely be back in the near future!

We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary with my husband and our 3 children. The service was excellent. Everyone was welcoming. And our waiter Oliwer was brilliant. He was patient with us as we didnt know most of the menu. He explained everything in detail. The food he recommended us was delicious. We enjoyed every bit. My children loved Oliwer especially when he reffered to them as Sir and Mam. We had a lovely experience. We will definitely come again. My 10 year old daughter rated Oliwer 600 out of 10. And we all rated the service a 5 star. Thank you

Restaurant based in smart hotel. Good place for a special meal. Bit on pricy side but food worth it. Good selection. We tried coq au vin and duck in sauce. Both were tasty and guide portions. The stars were interesting residential the potted crab and avocado. The position of the restaurant on the cliff top would be great on a good day when you can find outside. Visited again and found that food was still lovely and the staff particularly attentive . Still great

A great experience and I would highly recommend you try here! We were greeted by a lovely man and shown to our table. The atmosphere, view of the sea and decor is beautiful. We then had a kind, attentive waiter called Sebastion who always served with a smile. il était magnifique! We ordered the baguette & dips for starters and they were very tasty. Plently of dips with fresh, warm bread. For the mains we had the grilled king prawns & the boeuf bourguignon. Both tasted and looked like art, especially for the price. I have quite a few allergies and they were very understanding which is much appreciated. The boeuf bourguignon came out a bit cold the first time but there was no problem recieving a replacement. The only thing that let it down a bit was no warning for the fire alarm test. But very small nit picks. Overall, I would 100% recommend for date nights, family outings and coffee. I will definately be returning! Thank you to all the team.

Located within the Marriott with good views out over the water, and friendly, helpful staff. A good range of dishes with good flavour available, so you should find something for any taste and at an ok price. The venue can be a bit loud for conversation, but the space caters well for groups.

We really enjoyed our Sunday roast with excellent service and we shall definitely go back! It is within walking distance of our daughter's flat along the path above the beach.

Admittedly French cuisine isn't my usual choice but I had to give Brassiere Blanc a shot after seeing the menu - plenty of tempting dishes, many of which were vegetarian. I ordered the cauliflower steak - melted in my mouth. The side salad with various beans and pomegranate perfectly complemented the dish (and a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc!). I'd happily return to try more. Extra points for friendly and attentive customer service.

Booked at 4pm for lunch on Sunday as we had a very good breakfast there earlier as residents. Fish soup and souffle were good, although croutons rock hard but not a problem as they were going in the soup! Roast beef was good but limited vegetables left and no roast potatoes (menu advertises 'unlimited'!) at all. Yorkshire puddings had been sat about for some time, not crisp just soggy. Some of the desserts not avaialable. Waiting staff worked hard to save the situation but felt that they were not being supported by a disorganised kitchen.

Amazing food, exceptional service and such a lovely atmosphere. I went for a lunch with sister and my little boy which is 6 months, we've been served with lots of smiles and our boy could not be happier being carried around .

Very disappointing experience. We had booked a table at 2pm - after calling several times from 11.30 to try to change booking to an earlier time, I went to the restaurant at 12.30 to see if we could come earlier/ I was told no and that it wasn’t possible to look at the computerised system as it would ‘mess everything up’ - I understood as presumed very busy so my husband and I went for walk along the sea front. We returned at 1pm as had decided to wait in the bar. At 1.30 I asked if any tables had become free, to be told no, even though two tables for 2 were laid and empty. I asked which table we had been allocated, to be informed that it hadn’t been decided yet… at 2pm we returned to be seated at one of the tables that had been free all the time, most bizarre! Whilst I totally understand that tables are allocated for a certain amount of time, there is no way there would possibly have time in a half hour turnaround to accommodate customers to use those tables before us. I felt a very ‘computer says no ‘ vibe at best and slightly veiled hostility at worse. The service once we were seated was to be fair efficient, but the food, vegetarian roast for my husband cold and gnocchi for me ok but very vinegary, desserts decent, wine good. The experience was very old fashioned but not in a good way- certainly didn’t feel my custom was important and I would certainly not recommend. By contrast, we were staying at The Nici where our dinner was exemplary, both in quality of food and in customer service.

Will return next time we are to this region sorry I had to speak loudly to my mum she's completely deaf loved the food great .

Everything about our experience was wonderful. The people are a joy - friendly and helpful. The service is perfect as are the food and drinks. We love going there . It’s a great location and has plenty of parking . The hotel if you need it Going again this week on our own as it was so good

Beautiful restaurant with great attention to detail. I had the seabass and muscles which was delicious. My wife had the celeriac. She she eats a plant based diet and was thrilled with. She rarely gets such an innovative and enjoyable meal without visiting specialist vegan restaurant. We ate here as we were staying at the hotel and because it was easy, but it turned out to be a great experience. The rhubarb desert was wonderful as well.

THE MOST RUDEST TEAM IVE EVER SEEN. so last saturday I had a trial shift, and bare this in mind that i’ve applied using my CV they had seen it then called me for the trial shift. But i got there and I was greeted by the man in charge at that shift time in assuming and he took me straight away into his office and didn’t say a word at all he said was put on the apron and gave me a pen. He then said just follow that girl around as you will be shadowing her. I did as I was told and did all the things that she had told me to do. Obviously I won’t be all hands on deck I wouldn’t go out of my way or anything to take orders does he have expect me to take orders when I hadn’t even seen the menu yet. Then he has a strop and asked why I didn’t pick up an empty glass when I went over to the table. But I didn’t see it which I did realise i’m In the wrong. Then he asked me to go get a bottle of water and give it to the table of 2, he didn’t say anything else. Then he decides to have a strop again about me not pouring out the water for them. So I asked the girl who I was shadowing if I was supposed to pour the water and she said no. So clearly this guy had some sort of problem. Not even 1 hour into the shift he was like yeah come back to the office. He asked me how I thought I performed. I didn’t answer because I’m not the one to judge that. That rude guy then said “your not experienced at all, good luck if you are going to get a job”. He also said that I wasn’t doing anything at all. Does this guy expect me to do everything at their level? He hadn’t even gave me a run through of anything. He asked why I didn’t go out my way to take orders. Does he not remember the fact that he told me to just to follow that girl around during the trial. He also said you had a 3 hour trial but i’m going to cut that at 1 because your so useless. Genuinely the rudest guy that you will ever meet. Possibly even the whole team because some of them just stood there watching me. Please don’t ever call someone to a trial shift after going through their CV thinking their fit for the role and then saying to their face your absolutely useless. Please Brasserie Blanc sort out your members!!!

The food was innovative, delicious , with sensible serving sizes. Desserts maintained that standard. The service was exemplary, and I would not hesitate to take guests there. Seating was a little basic, but quite comfortable. We look forward to eating there again soon.

Everything about our visit was perfect. The food was so delicious and the ambiance excellent. The key aspect that makes the restaurant so good is the quality of the staff. From the man who dealt with our booking on the phone, to the welcome on entering, to the team work of the staff, you couldn't ask for more. Our waitress, Gina, was helpful, professional, cheerful and friendly. Tracey who delivered the food to the table was quietly good at her job. It was also nice to see Karolin, the supervisor, again. We will definitely return.

It was my mums birthday! We were staying in the hotel and read the reviews and thought it would be very special that wasn't the case our plates wasn't taken away quick enough we had to place them on the table beside us! We had asked if we could have the children to be fed first but that wasn't the case and the children wanted to eat our food. And was waiting for it!

Beef was awesome. Everything else was mediocre. Potatoes under cooked and all food was cold. All plates were chipped. Moldy raspberries on very expensive cocktail. 2nd and last visit sadly.

in spite of this being a sad occasion we were provided with an excellent hot buffet with quality meats/kebabs rather than the usual 'sandwich/Canape selection' and were given a dedicated area in the front Bar with the magnificent views over the Bay. I look forward to going again on a happier occsion but they did everything they could to lift our spitits; thank you!!

Simply awful, ordered mushrooms these weee good but no bread for the sauce told you can buy bread, in any French restaurant I know bread is a staple, for the sauce alone, my wife had the prawn cocktail with avocado, again no bread served very cold so tasteless. Main course Toulouse sausage good but side of Cauliflower cheese no sauce, just melted cheese on top sorry Raymond a greasy spoon would be better, my wife had pork ribeye, it smelt off tasted so sweet and sour I was appalled at the quality, simply not good enough

Booked due to being offered 50 % of mains by email. Fantastic welcome on arrival. Water offered straight away while we decided on drinks and the waitress explained the menu. Starters were good. But the main course was the star of the show. We both had the duck. Best duck I've ever had, tender with a crispy skin. Perfectly cooked. We will be back to try the Sunday roast.

Consistently outstanding food, service, ambience, decor and location. Pistachio soufflé is a must. The lamb fish is delicious and full of flavour. The staff really make the experience perfect. Beautiful views of the sea from this cliff top restaurant make it even more special. The chairs are comfortable, which is really important for my bad back. Decor is lovely & ambience is great - a lovely vibe on a Friday night.

Great selection at breakfast at a reasonable price. The fresh omelette maker was a hit, the service was impeccable and the fact that they had gluten free options on request (at least gf corn flakes and bread) as well as knowledge at hand of which cooked breakfast items were gluten free (all but sausages) was brilliant!

We stayed at the mariott for the night and didn't want to go far for dinner, so we decided to go to Brasserie Blanc. The atmosphere was somehow split between the restaurant and their bar. The restaurant didn't have any music and really felt dead, despite the few people having dinner. The bar however, was more lively and had a very nice choice of music, so we decided to eat at the bar (they have a few table as well). The food was good, there's a decent choice. Service however was a tad slow. Waited about 30' for the main course, which I think was long, given the place was rather empty. But otherwise fine place to dine in. I can imagine that it must be nice during summer time and sunset to be eating here.

The steak was so good I'd drive back just to have it, probably the best I've ever had. I may even have to go back to all my previous reviews about steak dishes if I said it was the best and change them to very good, it was that good. All the other dishes were exception too. Waitress was lovely and friendly too. Overall, a lovely evening and would definitely go back.

24/12/23 - Sunday. We are back to this Marriott Hotel, Basseries Blanc. Celebrating our Christmas Eve Lunch with my mother-in-law 🎄🍾🌹❤️💕. The service were excellent and thank so much to the chef & servers for meeting up to my request for extra pork crackling. The tables were widely space out for health & Safety measure. And for my mother-in-law's mobility with her walking aid.. Thank so much for their excellent services.Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just the best restaurant in Bournemouth. Amazing food at pub prices (not Beefeater but proper pub prices). Yes you can pay lots if you choose to or a little if you are selective. Make sure you book! Don't just turn up on spec. Some free street parking nearby. Good wine selection but limited / generic beers. The views are beautiful, overlooking the sea with Isle of Wight and Old Harry's Rock easily visible. Superb staff and never had a bad meal there.

Absolutely faultless Perfect in every way

Met with a large group of my school friends for lunch. The restaurant staff were attentive and got the food out to some 16 of us at the same time.

The restaurant looks tired, the staff are tired and the food looked lazy, when we eventually got the attention of a waiter and complained about one dish nothing was done to resolve it, even when the manager came over. Pistachio soufflé was overcooked and served in a chipped and cracked ramekin. Raymond would be disappointed.

Went here yesterday for lunch. I have to say this is my new favourite place to eat in Bournemouth. I'm used to Brasserie Blancs in London but this one was far superior. Moules were the best I have ever had. Service was great too. A+

I'll start by saying that the food was delicious. We went on a Friday evening 2 weeks ago to celebrate my birthday and we thought that as the restaurant was in the Marriott Hotel that it would be something special. Drinks in the bar started our evening in lovely elegant surroundings. We then went into an extremely underwhelming part of the restaurant (more like a pub) with velvet benches that made my legs itch. We had used a Virgin Experience voucher (3 course meal & wine for 2) so maybe that's why we got the poor area and very lackluster service by staff wearing faded skinny jeans which added to the pub atmosphere - not upscale restaurant attire. After a superb meal we would have liked to order coffee and liqueurs but no staff around so we paid our small bill and left. Maybe summer is the better time to go if you can sit on the terrace because the food is excellent.

We were on our 35th anniversary. We met in Bournemouth! We live in Kent . The food was wonderful!! I knew it was going to be exceptional once the perfect cheese soufflé.came ! It’s years since I’ve eaten such a perfect one in a restaurant! Everything was top notch . Well worth a visit if you really like good food !!

We weren't staying in the hotel but had a family dinner for 15 people on Saturday evening with ages ranging from 7 to 80 including an 18th birthday celebration. The food was superb and the service was excellent (drinks throughout the evening arrived in no time at all). In particular the lead waiter responsible for our table, Dayron, was both extremely efficient and great fun and was a big factor in the event being such a success, thank you!
