The best restaurants in South West

What a wonderful little pub. Was made to feel welcome on arrival by a lovely young man. He was so patient with our 5 year old grandson who was being incredibly picky with what he wanted for lunch. All food and drinks came quickly from order. Food definitely cooked fresh. We could fault nothing.

We had a nice private room for a family lunch gathering. Staff were lovely. Perfect location for our event. Thanks.

The food is delicious and I had the most magnificent dessert the Lemon meringue tart was divine 😋 Overall a pleasant and satisfying experience with good service apart from the prices of the sides, a few pieces of carrots or bowl of lettuce £4.95!! Really let yourself down there. Shocking.

Lovely village pub with nice food, drink and camping

Amazing place, lovely staff and mouth watering food 🥰. Always travel from Bristol to here just to have a meal. Finally stayed in the hotel and it was amazing well kept and comfy bed.

We had a wonderful experience dining in today and the quality of food was outstanding! Thank you to their amazing manager Joe and chef MJ, we really enjoyed our lunch today.

We booked the private bar space for an event and had an amazing time! Blakely managed the booking for us & Tony manned the bar on the night - both were professional, friendly, and made sure we had a fantastic experience. The drinks & decor really stood out - I can't recommend the bar enough!

We drove past so thought we'd stop in for lunch as it was around 2:00 and the sign out front read "Open 12 - Close" only to be told they were closed and opening at 4:00. Gave it 1 star as I don't actually know what it's like there.

Great pub with nostalgic charm. The atmosphere was pretty good and welcoming. Mana was super kind and professional. Loved the place. Worth it going.

Beautiful setting and great food. This is a wonderful centuries old pub that caters for all. Two legs or four. The gardens ensure solo visitors, couples and families are catered for with the bar /restaurant following suit this should be a destination for all. The food is beyond amazing , I didn’t want it to end! I am a random visitor not a local but I wish I lived nearer. The staff are so knowledgeable, kind and welcoming, a sure change from more commercial places. I enjoyed every moment thank you x

Very nice place offering a friendly vibe, good food and a nice variety of drinks. This is the perfect place to have a couple of drinks or a nice dinner.

Absolutely incredible service here, the food was fantastic and it's in a really beautiful area.

Been coming here on and off for 30 years but have not been for a long while. In a nice way, it’s what pubs used to be like! Good range of local ales, varied menu with the classics you want and today… a lovely seat outside in the sun! Staff were great, all in all a pleasant lunch.
