Honestly one of the best gin cocktails I’ve ever had.

We stumbled across this yesterday. Absolutely loved it. Amazing Gin and the staff created a happy energetic friendly environment. Will definitely return here on our next trip.

Really loved it here! Came in here quite a few years back and enjoyed ourselves, so we were keen to see if this was still one of our favourites. We had a lovely time, the staff were friendly and had a great energy. Izzy was very helpful and friendly. The drinks were great, nice balance of alcohol so they were light and refreshing. It’s a cool vibe inside as well. Would come back again! It’s worth stopping in for a cocktail or two.

Just enjoyed a lovely weekend in Bath and had such a fab evening here that we returned the following evening! Fun, friendly staff, delicious gin and a great atmosphere.

I went on the gin tour to celebrate my brother's 25 birthday and it was a great experience. I admit when George first started talking, there was a brief moment when I thought that the tour would be doomed but after few minutes I realised his pauses and red bull jokes was actually the work of a comedic masterclass, only empowered by the straight quips of his pirate themed companion. The gin drinks were all extremely nice, we tried three drinks at the tour. Our group really enjoyed the Slough gin at the end but we all left feeling really positive about everything that we tried with a new appreciation of gin. George did a great job of keeping us all entertained, getting the group talking, answering questions and running us through some of the distillery/gins history. It will be definitely be an experience we will remember because of the fun we had. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy an afternoon experience followed by some drinks afterwards. We will look forward to visiting the store again during the gin fair or Christmas market.

Highly recommend the cocktail masterclass with Maddie! A group of 11 of us visited for my hen do and made 3 amazing cocktails. A lot of fun and drinks consumed!

Was lucky enough to be gifted a tour of the distillery. . . .all I can say is what a brilliant afternoon we had. Our tour guides Ava and Harriet were brilliant. Big shout out to Ava as it was her first tour and she was amazing . . .both were friendly, knowledgeable and funny! Thanks ladies, we had a blast.

Highly recommend the Master Class experience. We were lucky enough to take the class with Harriet and Maddie. Fun, informative and so cool to make 3 of our own cocktails. Could not have had a lovelier time! PS if you don't want to take the class the cocktails are also worth going for. It was after our second visit in 2 days having cocktails that we signed up for the class.

We called in for a quiet Tuesday evening drink. We received an incredibly warm welcome by the fabulous staff (Maddi and Mel), and sat at the bar chatting got 3 exquisitely made cocktails (each). A charming place with wonderful staff, leaving me in no doubt we will both be returning and telling everyone we meet to go there!

Beware and check your bill! The prices are not just as advertised - they then have the service charge that they add (but don’t tell you about) and then if they don’t have enough change in the till, they just hand you your change and hope you don’t notice or question - Two drinks bought at (an already expensive) £11 each - total cost: £25 Not impressed…

We shared a teapot of gin. It was very tasty and a good value to share for 2. We found it odd that the 3 tables seated after us were given water immediately whereas we were offered none. The "discretionary" charge for our ~£18 teapot was £2.5; I would prefer if a percentage was listed on the menu instead of being "discretionary."

George Marshall is the greatest host of all time. He is a kind and lovely gentleman who strives for excellence in everything he does. I would highly recommend him for your curated evening.

When headed to London for vacation, I was determined to find a good gin bar — and this was the perfect place. The varieties of gin were inventive and delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy and chic. I wanted to spend the whole evening here!

We did the tour and tasting experience on 20th Apr 24, 2pm and I can’t remember the guys name for the life of me but the whole experience was amazing and the leader was incredibly knowledgable and made the experience very fun. We were there celebrating my friends birthday and we all had the best afternoon! The gin was great too and we stayed for a cocktail after as well. Just a great little bar. We’ll be back! Thank you for a great time!

I booked a cocktail masterclass for 9 people followed by use of their private bar area upstairs for the rest of the evening. Jordan, our gin expert, was exceptional and the masterclass was brilliant fun (and the drinks went down very well too!). Couldn't fault the service. Would definitely go back.

In Bath for weekend and had been to Bar twice. Great atmosphere, good music and Gin was good for sure complemented with good service!

Great place for a well made gin cocktail. Lots of home made gins and unique cocktails to try. Very friendly bar staff plus if you can find them, some comfy places to sit (go up to the Distillers Bar).

Love this place, pop in every time I'm in Bath. Can get busy on the weekends, but the delicious cocktails (and good selection of them too!), long gin list and cosy atmosphere are worth it.

Come for the gin; stay for the 80's soundtrack. Really friendly people, the baseline gin has wormwood in it. Bitter and delicious. A huge array of flavoured gins. The chilli lime version almost addictive with a chilli garnish. I take it back. It is addictive.

Had a great time here last weekend! We started with our own cocktails then split the tea pot drink, both which were very delicious. We had seen the reviews about the bar owner ahead of time and did meet him, but the rest of the staff were very kind and respectful. Can’t wait to come back!

We went to have some dinner. Very pleasant atmosphere, the staff too and the gin they recommended to us was incredible. Highly recommended. We went there for some drinks after dinner. The place is really nice and the staff, great. They recommended me a gin that was AMAZING

Oh how do I begin, let's start at the end and work our way back. Peter the owner is a very complicated person, but incredibly interesting in terms of the life he has led. The gin is amazing ambrosia and a testament to Peter. The wait staff are beyond great, most generous loving souls we've met in a long time. It was the most incredible night and a definite highlight of my life, just one of those spontaneous things that snowballed into an absolute whale of a time.

Greeted with a warm welcome into a nice cosy bar. The staff were nice and the drinks were made with care. The music and atmosphere was nice and relaxing, and I'd recommend this as a nice place to have a few drinks (gin or otherwise as there was a good range of other spirits). Shame they are shut on Sundays as would definitely have returned.

I don't like gin, but the barman made the most delicious gin cocktail for me, bar staff knew their stuff and the whole place was perfect for our party of 10.

I brought my friend here as she loves gin and as I’d been here before I thought it would be perfect. Unfortunately the owner provided us with poor customer service and seemed too drunk as he stumbled a few times. He inappropriately squeezed my arm calling me beautiful which made me very uncomfortable. He then hassled us at our table before we had even ordered asking for our opinion on whether we would have preferred being shown to our table. I stated I wouldn’t have as I like to chose my own seat especially as there was only one person who was behind the bar. He then asked us to follow him to the bar and told the bartender the opposite of what I said. I felt very sorry for the bartender as he was just trying to do his job and his service was amazing. It’s a shame the owner had to ruin it by being inappropriate and drunk. With the owners presence we felt so uncomfortable that we left without ordering anything. I’d like to preface that this is not about the amazing bartender but the inappropriate owner.

I rarely drink and on an evening out with my wife dropped in here whilst we waited 30 minutes for our dinner reservation. The bar staff was pleasant and helpful. The drinks were expensive. Like some of the other reviews we too met Peter the owner. Not our choice. A sad & unfortunate mixture of drunk, pompous, and misogynist. I suspect we were saved from an awful experience by that dinner deadline.

The bar staff and gin were good but the whole experience was ruined by the “manager” who was incredibly offensive and wouldn’t leave us alone. He made many incredibly inappropriate and offensive comments even using the ‘n’ word several times whilst talking to us! As well as sleazy misogynistic comments to the women in our group. Really upsetting.

When you over hype moderately decent gin, you get this gin bar.

Nice little bar, but fills up quickly and seats are extremely limited. We got there 5 minutes after they opened and it was full not long after that. Staff were nice enough (didn't meet the owner as per other reviews so can't comment on that). My only real complaint is the cocktails were really below par. The selection of gins was great, however the presentation was rather meh - nothing fancy, which is a shame as the prices are high - certainly don't feel like you're getting your moneys worth. I'd strongly recommend retraining the staff and upskilling the team to make more visually inviting drinks. It's also good practice to let the customer keep the remains of their mixer, not bin it when there is still a good portion of it left. Not only is it wasteful, it's unfair as the customer has paid for it.

Gin gin, gin gin!! Nope, thats not the phone ringing, it's just 4 gins out of the 100 gins available here. Straight G&T or G&T cocktail, whatever you fancy, all in one bar. Not the biggest venue and a tad on the cool side during the winter months. The sheer range of gin available is impressive, and served by some knowledgeable staff. If you dont like gin, don't worry, they have non gin beverages here as well.

Every gin under the ☀️ Staff friendly and knowledgeable. They distill gin on site and you can fill a bottle or 2 to take with you. It's priced at £35-38 (11/02/2023). There are numerous Cocktails available (fave is the Marquis) as well as wines and other spirits. Atmosphere was friendly and the neon sign was a cool feature...

We had such a lovely evening here this past weekend! The idea of having an entire menu of gin-based cocktails is fantastic. My partner and I got two cocktails each to try a few out and every single cocktail was delicious and unique. The space is cozy and comforting. The service was also incredible - although the bar was super busy, the staff took time to answer our questions about the different types of gin that they had. We also got to meet Peter, the owner, who was just so kind and lovely to talk to. It felt like we were visiting new friends rather than going to a bar full of strangers. We will definitely come back next time we're in Bath.

Good choice of gins but glasses cute but too small so lose half tonic which bar staff take away unless ask. I appreciate this may be to get right mix of gin to tonic but just not me.

Really nice bar in the back streets of Bath city. The decor is excellently laid out. Very friendly staff and the drinks are very tasty indeed. They are quite pricey, but you get a very high quality drink. Good background music too. I would have given 5 stars, but I have one complaint. Every time I come to this place, it’s absolutely freezing inside! To the point you can’t even remove your coat. But this is just a small blemish, or maybe it’s just me?! Other than that excellent bar.

It's a really cool bar, expert bar staff able to make advanced cocktails and so knowledgeable on the provenance of the liqueur. I did find it quite cold, I had to leave. It was a Thursday night so less people and I understand that we should avoid putting heating on but a few blankets would really make a difference when it's quite and lacking the bustling body heat of the Friday/Saturday evening. Still, I enjoyed it and I'd come again.

So many gins to choose from, and the ones we had were lovely. We'll priced with doubles only £3 extra too, so would have been rude not to!

Lovely gin and bar staff how unfortunately a drunk unprofessional owner , after sitting down with my mother having a couple of gins we were told half an hour after buying the second one that we wasting space and should leave !! Felt very sorry for the staff who tried to fix the situation but however the owner was very rude and insistent me and my mother should leave ……it’s the first time she has been kicked out of a bar so I think this is a 70th she will not forget !!

A great bar with wonderful, friendly staff who make excellent drinks. One gripe with a man, who I assume is the owner, who saw fit to berate a couple of members of staff for allowing a table to become wet from a glass. I understand holding standards but the manner in which the members of staff were addressed made us uncomfortable and we left. When, on leaving, I raised with the presumed owner that I wasn't comfortable with what had happened they said 'have a good evening' and slowly closed the door in my face. The five stars are a reflection on the staff and the drinks but I won't be returning.

Absolutely fantastic! The in house Gin selection is so vast. Fabulous flavours we tried to taste all of them but they were all too good. Ended buying a good couple of bottles to take home. Staff super friendly & we had the privilege of meeting Peter the owner. A great host & new friend for life.

An amazing small bar with a wide choice of Gin cocktails to suit all tastes. The bar itself is situated in the heart of Bath Town centre, with 3 floors of seating to choose from all with their own dedicated bars it's absolutely worth the visit.

This place was fab.The staff were friendly and kind.A wonderful quaint place to have a gin and tonic. They sell so many different gin flavours that it was hard to choose which one to have! Highly recommend

Oh my god we died and went to heaven!! Why have I not got a Gin Bar near me😥. The staff were great and humorous. If you like Gin you have to visit and enjoy a few of the 250+ gins. Worth every penny.

One star is even too much for the deplorable attitude of the drunk, sordid owner of this establishment.

“Predatory Pete” makes this establishment dangerous. If you have a daughter; wife, sister or girlfriend, you should know that there are facilitators NOT ADEQUATELY INTERVENING when they are aware of predatory behaviour in this venue. I do not care how “important in the Bath community” this man is; his behaviour needs to be called out. Our group (*note: all women; some drunk, others not*) visited this Gin Bar and, after ordering a round of drinks and taking a seat, were interrupted by the self-declared “Gin Bar owner, Pete”, who - during some initially open, business-related, and albeit flattering and persuasive chit-chat - instantly began awkwardly overly-leaning in and telling one of our group she was “remarkably beautiful”, “like an actress of old”; quickly laddering up to the notion that she “should give him a kiss” and that, “as a business owner” she should take his contact and pander to his overly-invasive advances. NOT what we came to the bar for. After several rounds of uncomfortable comments - *including a full introduction to a secondary younger Gin Bar team member called Benedict - who flatly arrived, told us he was “not involved”, said Pete was “not to be trusted” then LEFT the building mid-conversation without further explanation – further alarm bells starting to ring.. The older man, Pete, then returned to ascertain our position at the table, as if looking for verification that Benedict had sold him in to us, and continued to make uncomfortable comments to our colleague before we felt it was not viable to take any more and we all collectively stood up at the table and left the establishment, mid-drink, somehow to his disbelief. As we stood along the same road and called respective taxis home, ‘Pete’ then walked along the same street to The Raven public house -where he was welcomed by four young men (some who described themselves as ex-Raven employees), all stood drinking at the door. After ushering him inside, two members of our group - unnerved by the situation that had just played out - walked back along the street and initiated a conversation at the Raven’s door, largely to enquire if this character was indeed “a business owner” or not. Three of the four men went on to freely admit, “ah yeah Pete is a character”; “he is ‘just like that’”, “he’s important”, and “we know but we don’t say anything as everyone just ‘knows’”. We don’t even care about the vibe or success of the Gin Bar. Or The Raven’s. We care about the women who enter bars like this in Bath (and all across the South West) who - for whatever reason, be it inebriation or insecurity - do not stand up to potentially predatory behaviour like this when they are confronted by it; women who end up being cuddled, kissed, and groped by absolute strangers because they - and no-one else - calls out that fact that THIS IS WEIRD AND WRONG. The three men at The Raven even said they agreed, but we left the scene feeling that this would be laughed off as just a case of someone unfortunately doing “what they are known for” and therefore highlighting a complaint like this would just be left to slide - allowing others to feel uncomfortable and even be vulnerable in future. Not acting when you see this stuff happen only facilitates it happening again - and potentially worse. Call it out. Every time. Full Jimmy Saville vibes. Yuck.

Great staff, but we had our early evening drink spoilt by the drunk owner using disgusting language and telling very crude jokes in front of our female company. We didn't ask for his company and he just wouldn't take the hint to go away and leave us alone. An awful experience. I would advise you go somewhere you won't have to put up with this over bearing drunk.

Superb range of gins. We tried the Chilli & Lime, the Rhubarb, the Rosemary & Fennel and the one with blueberries and almond. Really enjoyed them. The bar itself is cosy and there is outside seating which is lovely in this heat. The service is very good. Lovely place for the old pre prandial!
