No longer my favourite hotel in the islands. Refused to refund my deposit for a cancellation due to the sudden death of my wife. Sure have a policy but sometimes good service means suspending that in difficult circumstances.

First this is great place, difficult to find but they let themselves down here and there. My food was mostly cold, someone eating with me had cold food too but their plate was thermonuclear! The chef can cook & I guess they had an off day.

The pub is closed due to a lengthy refurb, but there is a cafe in the smokery next door run by the same family. We enjoyed a platter of smoked seafood made on-site for lunch. It was seriously good, with some clever tastes. The Salmon was just brilliant. We bought some in the Deli to take home. Highly recommended.

Great little tea room with outdoor seating under covered tables. Stopped for Cornish cream teas… Delicious. Good service from the staff as usual. Highly recommended! Will be visiting again.

£17.90 for large Fish n chips and mushy watery peas🤬 Rip off x2 £35.80 really must be the dearest chip shop in Devon n Cornwall should of gone to the Barbican where they would of been better and cheaper!

Such a cute little place! The full English breakfast and the scones were so good. The owner or server was so nice and lovely. It was a great place for a rainy day breakfast.
