"We recently celebrated a 30th birthday, and the experience was outstanding. The staff handled our table of 20 with ease, providing attentive service and promptly bringing drinks. The food was superb, even though it leaned on the expensive side, but not a single complaint from anyone at the table. I had the seafood chowder, which was absolutely sublime. Highly recommended!"

We live locally and we had been eager to try Rosemount for a while. Seeing the 50% off the lunch menu deal in March (making it £25 for 2 people for 3 courses ) we booked a table. Note.. There is an automatic 12% service charge added.
The restaurant is lovely. Beautifully decorated, nice background music and welcoming staff on arrival.
Our 3 course meal was superb, can't fault it at all. Good sized portions, hot, well presented and tasty.
Our only criticism is initially the service was slow taking around 20 minutes to take our drinks orders. There wasn't a lot of engagement by staff when they took the order or delivered the food.
However, this is a really lovely restaurant with an interesting and varied menu. The ambience, particularly on a sunny day, made us feel like we were somewhere in the Mediterranean.
We will return for sure.
Having reserved a table, was very disappointed, on arrival, to be offered a table right in front of the outside door, then moved to an upstairs area, which totally lacked atmosphere. Service by young staff was pleasant and willing. Food was very average and rather expensive. Would not revisit.
Great local pub, menu is reliably excellent, generous portions, and any pub with Neil Young and Little Feat on their playlist gets a solid 10 from me. Onwards and upwards!
Excellent service and food despite being a member of a large party celebrating a friend's birthday. This was my first visit, and I would definitely recommend it.
Warm place for a reviving lunch on a cold December day! Very friendly and efficient service, and tasty food.... three of us had the mushroom and thyme soup and it was really good. Panini also much-enjoyed, and good coffee.
Nice clean facilities, too, with plenty of hot water.
Only quibble....I appreciate this is a dog-friendly venue, as it's right by a very popular area for dog-walking, and whilst all the dogs in the cafe were very well-behaved, one owner was letting her Daschund stand on the seat meant for humans!
I think this should be flagged up as a 'No no!' for diners, please!
Really cute pub! It was very busy when we visited but staff were friendly and efficient. There’s a beautiful and spacious beer garden at the front and the food was fantastic.
Oxford's only Moroccan restaurant, serving couscous, tagines, and grilled meats, offers excellent quality meat. The decor is very pleasant and warm, with a family atmosphere. A must-visit for lovers of Middle Eastern cuisine.
