6 months on and I’m compelled to reiterate just how much this place is a no-brainer, destination stop for anyone who appreciates the very best food, served with the very best engagement, in an environment that is relaxed, friendly and welcoming. I’ve extolled the virtues of this cafe to every visitor that’s stayed with me since my first discovery of the culinary magic that is Kostas, Gino & Co. No pun, but I’ve risked serious egg on my face, such are my oft deployed superlatives ! Yesterday the Veggie Breakfast was added to the long list of offerings that just don’t disappoint. Cooked perfectly, it was the freshest doorstep toast that simply sealed the deal - ‘it costs a bit more, but it adds so much’ is Kostas’s philosophy. ‘Worth it !’ was our clear sentiment & endorsement. And the Greek yoghurt - extraordinaire - which I’d wanged on about, was apparently even better on the tastebuds than even I had given it credit for. I’ve since discovered that this yogurt is imported from Greece and maddeningly, cannot be bought retail ! The usual cafe suspects of the High Street have their place but nothing can better a proposition that has true heart. With Eaten cafe, there’s nothing fancy, nothing overtly commercial. Just authentic, home made cooking, created & served with love, passion and a commitment to we the Diners. Quality @ value, every which way !

Stopped in for a bit after walking past to and from work daily for far too long, no more! Great choice, great staff, busy enough to make you interested and wow! I had the New Yorker and a coffee, well it is safe too say I will be back. The New Yorker was awesome and at a price you werent expecting for Windsor! Thanks

Minis is a small coffee shop on Eton High Street. It’s quite small, so seating may not always be available, but the cakes and coffee are really brilliant. I was looking for a snack after walking a few miles on the Thames Path and found Nimia, just a few m from the route of the path. I had a black coffee and a vegan rocky road. Both were excellent. Because there’s not much space, I had my snack sitting on the benches on Eton Bridge. Very relaxing.

We stayed in the townhouse. It is very basic. The toilet seat was broken, the shower head was blocked (i unblocked it) and the noise from the street started before 7 am and it was impossible to sleep after this time. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is the strangest thing i have ever seen. It is less of a buffet than a hunting expedition. Search a fridge in an adjacent room for a bottle of juice, find the milk, find the bread (in the fridge??) and so on and so on. The table is communal and a lovely Canadian couple joined us. I was able to help them find a tea bag and a cafetiere. This is labour free gone mad! We left asap and found no one at the desk/bar/door it was just a case of sort yourself out. I would give it a miss as there is better I took a risk and it didn't work

Amazing meal, quality excellent, staff amazing, thank you so much. We shared one houmous beiruti starter, shared mixed chicken dish plus two glasses of wines for a really responsible price. A must restaurant to try , a place that deserves to be in beautiful Windsor. Sandra and Steve Foster.

Cote Windsor is truly able to create such a special evening! More than just its idyllic location, the branch has the friendliest staff, who offered both quick and efficient service and warm conversation, not to mention the delicious food. My family received a really warm welcome and were greeted by a lovely waitress when we arrived at our table. All members of staff were sure to greet us with a smile in passing which made all the difference! Throughout the night Adel was particularly attentive and generous with both his time and service, making the night with my family even more special. We had a lovely time and couldn’t recommend it more highly! Thank you!

We stopped by one evening at this gastropub for dinner. The location was very pretty and we had high expectations. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. Both the dinner menu and the drinks menu had little choice. So it was a hamburger and a pint of Guinness for me. Guinness is Guinness, it's always good, but the burger is the worst I've ever tasted. There was a strange and bad taste in the meat and it didn't even taste like a burger. I'm not a fan of McDonalds, but their burger actually tastes better. The dessert menu, on the other hand, looked very tempting, a lot of exciting selection. But it was late at night and the children were tired, so unfortunately there was no dessert. It should be mentioned that the people working there were friendly and welcoming. This place doesn't get top stars from me, but I still hope to return one day and try something from the dessert menu.

The restaurant was recommended to me by a personal friend. I was looking for something that offers good food, good service and authentic experience for my family’s visit in the UK. The food was mediocre, lacks taste and the portions are very small. It seems like the dishes are different colours but taste the same. The breads were very good though. The prices are expensive for what it is. The restaurant smells unpleasantly. I was sold on the promise of magic shows for my little cousin, and the experience, but other than taking our order, we did not see any of the waiters come up and even ask if our food was ok. I asked if the 3 portions of rice would be enough between the 4 of us and the waiter offered no comment other than just shrugging his shoulders. I don’t really like to leave bad comments, so I also told the owner at the end that the experience was very disappointing and he didn’t seem too bothered. Overall, the most disappointing meal/ experience we’ve ever had.
