We came across the Swan at Eynsham, which is about 4 miles outside Witney, by chance, driving through the village and are really pleased we did. Dog friendly and very welcoming. There is a cosy snug with a fire, a bar and a further room at the back. We had lunch - I had the chicken curry with rice, nan and chutney, from the curry and a pint menu for £10 and my husband had the lamb shank with mash from the more specialised menu. Both were delicious. On the day we went there was a deal on for the curries, home made pies or burgers. £10 with a pint of beer. Excellent value. We enjoyed it so much we went back 2 days later and although the £10 deal wasn't on the food was still very well priced and once again we had a lovely meal. I had a delicious fish pie and my husband had the steak and stilton pie with mash. Our dog even got a free sausage! I don't usually write food reviews, but we enjoyed this so much, we thought this friendly pub deserved a mention. There is a varied menu with something for everyone. All social distancing was observed.

First timer and the experience was five stars all the way. I had the meaty breakfast which was brilliant and fresh and loads to eat. My daughter had the avocado on toast with a beautiful poached egg. Again it was excellent. We loved the decor and vibe of the cafe too. Service was superb and it really is dog friendly too. You must visit.

Lovely coffee shop with excellent baked cheesecake! A friend and I had a wonderful sunny afternoon that was made better by Jen one of the workers. If you're going to Eynsham or just passing through you gotta grab a coffee, tea and sweet treat from Lyall&Co!!

Been coming here now for the past 6-8 months l. Wish I could visit it more frequently ( work always sucks) but on the 5 occasions over those months it’s been such a fantastic experience! You first walk into a great covered outdoor space, with the kitchen outdoors, stage, bar and plenty of seating, heating and large tv! These guys have got it so right. Various things going on. Bands, comedy, movie nights etc! Inside is so relaxed, THE best decor and you can also buy stuff! Which is dangerous as they have so much to offer! There MERCHANDISE is also cool as! Staff are also Extremely helpful and polite! Not overbearing in any way but will be there with a smile! THE BEST Breakfast in Oxfordshire in my opinion! Best coffee to! Yes some may find it a little pricey but I’d rather pay for great quality and throughly enjoy it! Everyone needs a treat don’t they! 😊 Don’t get me started on their chicken wings!!! Best wings around! …… oh and the loaded hash browns! But I’ll stop now and let you all enjoy my lengthy review! You won’t be disappointed when visiting!

Walked in, half 8. Dogs barked as they do, and was said you’ll need to leave if they bark I have kids up stairs asleep. Well don’t own a pub then on a Friday night then. Walked straight back out. Would it recommend the awful experience to anyone who not looking for a 9-5 pub and walks in with the bar staff so rude.

I stopped using Rainbow House about 15 years ago after a few bad meals. Decided to give it another go earlier this week as I read it was under new ownership but this may have been a while ago. Its a shame as the Capital Spareribs sauce was a lovely sweet and sour sauce with added punch, but the ribs were way over cooked and dry. I had the chicken battered balls and sweet and sour sauce but this lacked flavour and the batter was awful - not crisp and slightly sponge like. The chicken inside was very bland and over cooked. . A waste of £24

The food was very good. the decor and place is nice. we were only a table of 6 adults but the food was very very slow to come out. nearly an hour wait for out roasts and 40 mins wait for puddings. the service was good but again we constantly had to ask more than once for things but we would come again ps don’t order the eton mess if you are expecting normal eaton mess. no mention of it being sorbet.
