The best restaurants in Harwell Vale of White Horse South East

Ordered the curry goat and a piece of jerk. Hit the spot immensely and satisfied my impromptu craving for carribean food.

This is a take-away café rather than a restaurant but there is some seating if you want to eat on premise. I don't know who owns this but is is a really decent place to get a sandwich or snack for lunch. Much of the food looks home made (e.g. the really interesting, tasty and huge vegan sausage rolls) and I have eaten here now a couple of times and been very pleased with the cheap prices and good quality.

Shut all Friday on the day we went.

It’s our first visit to this branch of Millar and Carter and we were not disappointed. First impressions are those of opulence with decor in dark rich colours, comfortable seating with great lighting. Excellent service throughout from Katie and food to the usual high Millar and Carter standard. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Fantastic to have the village pub back.

The quality of coffee is very much dependent on the barista. Most of the baristas are unfortunately not able to make Costa standard coffees. Costa should keep an eye on this store and truly train baristas. It has a potential to be a great place.

Really poor. Not impressed with the service and the food. Arrived for lunch with my family, my son and his wife were working so we called in for a quick lunch and drinks. We only ordered two sandwiches and it took over an hour to receive our food which by then was too late for my son and wife. So they left without any food! The pub wasn’t even busy and when the food eventually arrived the baguettes had been over warmed in a microwave and the chips were under cooked. Really poor service, no apology or explanation. Amazing to see the replies from the pub about the poor food and service: we regret to hear that you had this experience with us. Thank you again for taking the time to let us know how we can improve. Not a hotel to stay with children...a truck stop would be cleaner .

Amazing Staff, I will really miss you Nichola & Adam? + Staff You were always very nice and chatty and always knew what we wanted and always prepared on time and very yummy. We arranged a surprise birthday party for 2 of our colleagues (we work on Milton Park) and the Manager and staff could not have been more helpful. We gave them our list of food choices and drinks 24 hours prior to yesterdays party and there was not a single problem. They even cut the cake we brought in and served it to us, knowing that this is usually chargeable in many places they wanted to ensure us all of a great time. I cannot praise the staff highly enough in this Brasserie and likewise in the cafe (visit is daily) The menu choices catered to all 20 of us and no one had to limit what they wanted because the choice was varied. Again, thank you for a brilliant lunch time service and you are now our "go to restaurant" for work lunches etc.See you all soon. On behalf of all 20 us THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT A GREAT SURPRISE :)

Been closed for forever and the website has been hacked. Have reported to Google but they ignore.

No vegan options beside a side salad, which for a chain hotel and restaurant is astonishingly poor.

Friendly, welcoming pub with a good choice of drinks. We called in for lunch on a cold Saturday. It was a little bit chilly inside when we arrived but the food was very good. Particularly recommended is the pork medallions with brandy in a creamy sauce.
