We arranged a surprise birthday party for 2 of our colleagues (we work on Milton Park) and the Manager and staff could not have been more helpful. We gave them our list of food choices and drinks 24 hours prior to yesterdays party and there was not a single problem. They even cut the cake we brought in and served it to us, knowing that this is usually chargeable in many places they wanted to ensure us all of a great time. I cannot praise the staff highly enough in this Brasserie and likewise in the cafe (visit is daily) The menu choices catered to all 20 of us and no one had to limit what they wanted because the choice was varied. Again, thank you for a brilliant lunch time service and you are now our "go to restaurant" for work lunches etc.See you all soon. On behalf of all 20 us THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT A GREAT SURPRISE :)

Excellent service from start to finish. The owners couldn't have been more helpful and really captured exactly what we were trying to acheive for our event. Great location, great food and very accommodating indeed! With 65+ attendees the venue space worked well with ample space to have theatre style seating, along with a mingling area with seated tables. Three buffet stations meant noone was cramped and food was easily accessable. Everything was freshly prepared and tasted delicious, be it vegan, veggie or meat. Great variety and great value. The availablility of a projector and screen was fantastic, and a massive plus to the venue when planning work events. Venue was clean and had a well stocked bar. I would whole heartedly recommend the venue and in particular working with Nikki and Waldek to create just what is required. It is clearly evident that they are passionate about what they do, and are really good at it too! Thank you for making my event such a success.

Meeting a friend for lunch, well never again, unless you are lucky enough to have two hours for lunch instead of one at this place. Waiting 40 mins for lunch to me is very poor service. The waitress was asked if there was a problem and how long we had to wait further until our order arrived. well the answer was its coming, its coming. I actually thought it was coming from Reading. Waited further 5 mins, food didn't come so got up and paid for our drinks and left.

Turned up at lunchtime with 5 colleagues and despite being busy they happily accommodated us. We all had something different and there were clear plates all round. Plenty of choice, nice friendly staff and good food

El restaurante está bien para el ambiente. La comida es normal. Patatas fritas con todo. Incluso con una envoltura. Ahora que no me sorprende!

Relaxed friendly atmosphere, cheerful friendly staff, interesting daily specials and a good general menu that includes calorie counts. This isn't the place for a blow out meal, portions are adequate but not overloading, there's no starters, enough vegetarian options to be able to go two weeks running and still have choice, pudds are the usual sticky toffee, crumble, choc pudding, or ice cream - the crumble is always good! Prices are mid -range - we paid £37 for two mains, two pudds and two glasses house red. We've never failed to park on arrival.

Essen war OK jedoch Preis/Leistung hat nicht unbedingt gestimmt. Würde ich wieder essen gehen. Service war freundlich aber dauerte etwas.

Located on Milton Science Park. Just sit down and enjoy a relaxed lunch in a pleasant setting. The chilli beef burrito had real chunks of beef - not just cheap mince. It was thinned out somewhat with rice that made it a bit dry. The accompanying salad had a drizzle of balsamic that did not taste of much. Would have preferred some dressing - olive oil - should have asked. Undressed salads are something of a British speciality! The accompanying house made dips - guacamole and sweet chilli were perfect. Ideal preparation for my meeting after lunch.

The restaurant is great. The location accessible and the food really good. I went here with two colleagues. I wasn't expecting much but overall the staff were so helpful and the food delicious. If you want a nice setting for a business or private lunch this is a great place.

I was a customer at The Park Brasserie last week. The meal was 1st Class; the staff refreshingly courteous and there was a relaxing ambience in which to take time out. A warm, friendly greeting whilst Management retain a professional approach and keen eye on quality catering requirements, I feel that The Park Brasserie have the right balance. This reliable Company catered for my milestone Birthday (hush!.. age is but a number.) The food presentation was appealing, colourful and creative. Add to this the eclectic mix of quality hot and cold foods, foodonthepark proved a genuine Winner. My guests indulged in the gastronomic delights and the compliments poured in. We all know that Catering is a major contributing factor in turning a private function into a resounding success. You can be confident in foodonthepark. The testament to The Park Brasserie, Cafe Metro and the Business Lounge (all sister Catering Concerns) speaks for itself. The same Director and Manager have retained the same plus additional staff whilst expanding the Business over the years. Credibility and success have to be earned and they have been - a million thanks to you all for ensuring my dining experience has been 'something special' - I'll be back!

This is a regular for me as it based across the road from where I work. The food is very good, they also have specials. The main courses don't go above £12. Portions are of a good size and cooked from scratch. Probably the best place to eat in the area for lunch. Recommend the super food salad and the enchiladas - around £8

This is the only restaurant type place in Milton park. Conveniently located in the park centre. Great place for lunch. Sandwiches are OK and service is good.

I have used the brasserie for many a work lunch and catch up with friends and colleagues. It does get incredibly busy but the food is lovely and it's convenient for work. Maybe you could mark the gluten free options on the menu, so it makes ordering a bit easier.

I use the Brasserie frequently for business lunches. Service is fantastic (nothing is too much trouble), the atmosphere is great (think lots of people doing business), the environment is smart and professional and the food great and very good value. Thoroughly recommended.

I ate here with my old boss on a Wednesday lunchtime. We arrived not long after midday and it was quite empty, so we selected a nice round table for the two of us. It’s quite nicely styled inside, but my boss tells me the menu hasn’t changed in a few years – but, to be fair, what they do serve, they serve very well. I had the fish finger sandwich, which was delicious (although the tortilla chips on the side should probably have been salad!) and my friend had the peri-peri chicken wrap. Staff were friendly, and everything arrived promptly. My only complaint would be that it did get very noisy as more and more people arrived, as the furnishings are quite stark so noise echoes a lot.

I had lunch at the brasserie this week. I ordered the grilled halloumi & roasted veg salad. The amount of roasted veg was pretty small, with a lot of green salad to bulk it out. My friends had other dishes that looked better, particularly the fish finger sandwich.

I've visited here a few times for lunch with work colleagues. The food is of good quality, and there's lots to choose from. It is well priced for lunch, with a meal coming in at under £10.

Located under the Milton Park tent this is pretty much what you might expect a brasserie to be; relatively simple food from a limited menu. Everything is freshly prepared and virtually every dish costs under a tenner. An agreeable way to spend a lunch time. Not open in the evenings or at week-ends.

We have absolutely no complaints re the service and facilities other than the slippery bath as a shower.. could be rectified with a rubber mat( especially for the more elderly guests) Bedroom… spacious, spotless and comfy! We had an evening meal which was utterly divine… The starter of cheese brûlée was highly original and delicious; followed by venison with the most sensational sauce( jus!). Dessert finished things off wonderfully with a Apple and blackberry crumble cake! Mark our waiter was most attentive. Two breakfasts were of the continental variety with plenty of fresh fruit; muesli; yoghurt; cheese; ham and a lot of fresh toast to include brioche! Full English was on offer but we were having lunch later so opted for the healthier course Maybe a cheese board could have added that extra dessert option The chef ( possibly owner) Marcel who hails from Slovakia was charming and clearly a most competent chef.
