The best restaurants in Pantiles and St Mark's Tunbridge Wells South East

Went to see Si Cranstoun, who along with the band was absolutely brilliant. The atmosphere was fantastic and all was great. Unfortunately the MC/DJ who was also apparently called Si, was awful. He would not shut up and decided to drone over the music and could not stop pressing his favourite FX button.

Ordered halloumi bites and a small chips and when it arrived there were about 8 chips in total. It looked like the rest of them had been forgotten. Not good value for money. Have ordered a small chips from other restaurants and has always been enough for two. Very disappointing.

First time to try the restaurant...i can say that everything, from food, service, vibe and location its absolutely great! amazing experience! thank you so much! we will come again for sure!

On a recent pub crawl around the town on a freezing 3c Saturday, every pub we visited had a roaring fire and nice warm atmosphere apart from the Sussex Arms ! Freezing cold, no fires ? No people, hence no atmosphere!! When we enquired why the fires were not lit the barmaid replied " Someone forgot to order the wood" well this is simply not good enough, we noticed several tables reserved for evening meals, well I'm sure they weren't impressed either, Sack whoever is responsible, I would !!!

The cassoulet was divine and the staff were really friendly. Small place but you can book a table for food. Also I absolutely love the French posters on the stairs down to the toilets.

The waitresses are charm,personified. Immediately friendly,professional and helpful. The Caesar salad was gorgeous as was my husband's Frampton burger. Great environment, male bar attendant was particularly good Very reasonably priced. Try their Tuesday 12...burger,salad or chips and a drink for £12.!!!! Thoroughly recommend...The Pantiles is now back on our 'visit' list.

Food arrived cold, overpriced burger and fries that anyone could cook at home. Delivery driver rang wrong flat number and then surprised that I didn't answer, abysmal service

Welcoming staff, great atmosphere and absolutely delicious food! Their supper clubs are a great way to taste different cuisines from around the world, and have a lovely evening out. Highly recommended.

We was here on 8th March and had an amazing time. Great food, fabulous atmosphere and fantastic staff. Nothing was too much for them. The rooms were in theme, clean comfy and just perfect. Breakfast was, again, spot on. Lots of choice and great portions. Shout out to Russ and Carys. See y'all soon!

Turned up and no one showed us to our table. The table wasn’t even ready for us when we arrived on time. Got told that it was self-service which I thought was odd for this type of place. Waited ages at the bar to order. The starters arrived at different times so four of our party had finished their starters before the other two turned up (which I had to chase). Burgers and steaks were cremated on the outside so all you could taste was heavily charred meat. A friend complained and we got offered complimentary desserts which would have been a nice touch but got told that one was sold out and the crumble’s that did turn up were literally stone cold! Plates not cleared up before desserts were served. First and last time I’ll go here. I’ve honestly experienced much better food and service at Wetherspoon’s for well under half the price

Food was good and although the restaurant was completely full, the food arrived in good time. I was a solo diner and was seated at a two person table. After my starter I was requested to move tables to enable other diners to sit, which was not totally unreasonable but unusual part way through a meal. It is obviously a very popular restaurant and on a Saturday evening quite buoyant and noisy, but not unpleasant

We had dinner with a large group of family and friends. Although the restaurant was busy, the service was so attentive and friendly and the food delicious and plentiful. We had a wide range of dishes, from tapas, pasta and paella choices. All were enjoyed. The seafood paella was superb. Thanks to all La Casa Vecchia, especially Lydia, for looking after us so well and giving us such a great venue and menu for our family celebration.

Excellent Hotel! Room was lovely and staff were brilliant. Would very much recommend. If you have mobility issues, would also recommend you let the hotel know so that they can book a room on one of the lower floors (no lift)

Fabulous cakes. Couldn't fault them , absolutely delicious. Can recommend the incredible Ginger cake, Bakewell and Black forest chocolate cake. Their Baker is very talented.
