The best restaurants in St. Bride's Major The Vale of Glamorgan South East

Very good restaurant with great food. This was a Friday lunchtime visit. We chose off the 2 course set lunch menu. For starter i chose the chicken Skewers. For the main i chose the pork tenderloin . The presentation was very good, cooked just right and tasted delicious. We chose a bottle of the Los Picos £22.95 which complimented the meal well. For desert I chose the baileys panna cotta which was lovely. The service was good and friendly.

We called into the Mezze as an impromptu visit. We were greeted by a friendly landlady who served our drinks which were reasonably priced. The Butty Bach was a real good pint. To eat we ordered Humus which came with fresh homemade bread, Sucuk (spicy sausage) , Mixed grill. When the food came out the landlord also gave us a selection of cold Mezze on the house which was, Tzatziki, shaksouka, and a beetroot slaw. We ordered a side of fries but really didn't need them as the portions were very generous. Thank you for your hospitality we will definitely be back and will recommend to family and friends.

Good food with good staff.We enjoyed our meals here the place is clean with great service with staff that are helpfull.

First time visiting here. Lovely place and very clean. We had gammon and a cheesy flatbread with chicken - couldn't fault the food, absolutely gorgeous!! Staff were friendly enough but I feel a smile or two would improve the welcome

Had Sunday lunch. Fantastic food and large meat portions. Delicious. Young lady looking after the bar and serving was very attentive and friendly. Definitely going to come again.

We visited here for my mums birthday as a change from the usual pub meal and I can honestly say it didn't disappoint. Fabulous service from a friendly young man at front of house, and the food was amazing! We will definitely return! I've heard the sunday dinners are incredible so we will be back for that. Thank you to all the team

After cycling around the vale we ending up in ignore. Had a meal at the surf shack. Very good food good prices

The pub and ales were excellent. But we got some food from the outside shack both me and my wife had sea food mixed grill priced at £28 waited a short while for food when we started all of it was cold chips felt like re heat and gone cold has for the rest 1/2 a lobster tail small 1 king prawn and 1 scallop has to be the most over priced meal ever .sorry never again PLEASE NOTE THE PUB WAS GREAT 👍

Why did we wait so long? Finally booked to try the ‘new’ Fox and were not disappointed. Welcome was warm and had a lovely evening. Food was exceptional, well presented and good portions. We’ll be coming back to sit on deck upstairs in the sunshine soon. Nice one Mr H :-)

Visited The Fox, for Mother’s Day Lunch. Really nice location and bustling atmosphere with really attentive staff. Choice of roast beef, lamb or turkey . I opted for the lamb which was excellent and very tender.

Great family run pub under new management. Clean, welcoming, friendly atmosphere close to Ogmore Valley cycle track. Dogs welcome so perfect place to stop if you're out walking, but just as good for a night out with friends

Went there with my friend for a coffee and it was delicious. The person that served us was amazing, so friendly. And they take cash, which is always to be commended.
