Fab location especially on a nice day. The food is lovely and great quality. Price is a little high, after all you get what you pay for. If you want cheap go to Tesco. Dog freindly too, lots of water bowls available. I go here for a monthly treat.

This place used to be fantastic when they first opened, now it’s overpriced and not worth your time. Every few months I give them the benefit of the doubt and every time they disappoint, stale tea cakes and shockingly bad service. Only thing it’s got going for it now is the location. A real shame

Third visit and second time they've mislaid our order. Had to chase after 15 mins. Not particularly busy today either. The owners need a better system than bits of paper which get moved about and lost. Such a shame as the location and the cakes are terrific.

Popped in on a Sunday morning hoping for a coffee. I found there was a bit of a queue and wait to be served. Car park not motorcycle friendly as it is largely made up of loose gravel, but I could live with that. Walked out without ordering when I saw the sign stating that it was a 'cashless venue', something which I cannot support. All in all, a disappointing visit. If any Business goes cashless, it’s our duty to show them how it’s going to go Client-less.

Despite giving it a low rating, I like West Farm. The food is good, but slightly on the expensive side. My main issue is that you can never be sure when it's going to be open unless you are on Facebook. Waiting staff are in experienced resulting in some mistakes with service and orders. On a recent visit on one of those rare sunny days, an elderly couple with some disability and their family were looking for somewhere to sit. It was busy, and the "waiter" just told them there wasn't anywhere to sit. He neglected to tell them that there were seats available inside. We offered them to share our table, but unfortunately, they we're not able to negotiate the steps up to the raised area.

Lovely food in a great setting on the Welsh coastal path with beautiful views over the Bristol Channel. Generous portions. It was the first sunny day for a while when we visited and it was busy! Staff were still friendly and helpful although they did seem to be struggling with the number of people. Felt the menu was a bit limited especially as the house hash was not available. We were sat in the cafe area as we and we constantly had a queue snaking around us which was a bit awkward.

I really don't want to queue for 10 minutes to order then wait another 5 minutes for our coffees to be made all while 2 waitresses stand by the till doing nothing. Surely somebody could take an order at the table. Food and coffee great but I would like to be with my family not standing in line. Sorry to be negative but I hope you take this in the spirit it is intended. Update. No more queuing as they bring your order to the table so I returned. Great coffee but I won't be back after watching a member of staff playing with a puppy, hands in the pup's mouth etc then going back behind the counter without washing her hands!

I had high hopes for West Farm but was left a little disappointed. The farm is situated in a fantastic position overlooking the Bristol Channel (views are spectacular) so I looked forward to our visit. We ordered 2x Mini Waves and paid for the additional black pudding and toast on both (additional £4 per breakfast making a mini breakfast £14.50 each), some drinks and a cake each. Out total bill was approximately £45 and the food definitely did not live up to expectations taste wise. You can see the image below that it looks nice but the taste was bland and additionally the cakes were also disappointing. I left with the feeling that West Farm is much more about the views than the food.

We came here for a breakfast on a Sunday morning. After considering the menu I went with the Wave breakfast and cup of tea. When it arrived it looked really delicious, but it lacked flavour and was quite bland. I think they didn't use any salt in preparing the food. Baked beans were made in a home made tomato sauce with bits of tomato in it. It looked great but again, it lacked flavour. I will say though that I still ate it all and the portion was enough...I didn't feel over full which is a nice feeling. It was reasonably priced at £13, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

I was so excited to visit West Farm as it looked amazing. Unfortunately our experience there did not meet expectations. Upon arrival we asked a member of staff if we needed to be seated or if we could find a table and order food, she advised to queue and then find a table. The queue was about 20 minutes long and when we got to the till, we were asked for a table number. We explained we were advised to queue for our table - this then left limited options as to where to sit. We found a table outside but my 7 month old baby was too cold so we asked to move inside. The gentleman we asked said he would find out and walked off. We waited but he never came back and continued doing other things. We then started to move inside ourselves and whilst moving to the bar area, I asked a member of staff if we could sit inside as it was too cold for my baby. She said no we are fully booked and walked off despite there being a few seating areas available. So was I to sit outside with my baby cold then? My friend managed to ask another member of staff and she seated us in a waiting area. Whilst sitting here I was trying to set up the high chair for my baby and she became flustered and moved my pram saying we were in the way of the walkway (this is with no assistance to move the high chair, we did this ourselves may I add). When we got a table, we were on the move again and I was holding my baby and trying to drag the high chair, my friend pushing the pram and not one member of staff offered any assistance. A member of the public on another table moved the high chair for me which I was grateful for. As we were at our table, the waitress advised she was going to get a cloth and clean it down. Waiting standing at the side of the table with baby in hand, my friend holding our drinks, she starts to clean and seat another couple before us. At this point we sat down beyond frustrated with the service. She did clean it afterwards. Food then arrived and the food was really lovely and very good quality however we had to ask for cutlery to be able to eat it and the staff appeared flustered and rushing us, as though we were a burn and nuisance to them. In my years of working in hospitality I have never seen such carnage in running a coffee shop. It was quite busy when we first arrived but it quite quickly emptied and the service continued to be poor and the atmosphere was not very relaxing. The staff were really quite rude and unhelpful, not providing any solutions or assistance just behaving as though everything was very taxing and difficult for them. I was incredibly disappointed with my visit and would not come back again nor recommend it to any friends or family. Deeply disappointed.

Attention all purveyors of coffee - West Farm possibly served me the greatest iced latte I’ve ever experienced in my life and I’ve had a few from Starbucks in my time. West Farm was an excellent pit stop whilst out on my road bike earlier. I’m trying to lose weight, but West Farms delicious bagels basically made the bike ride redundant in the end The only thing I can possibly mark West Farm down on is that (in my opinion) the big stone wall ruins that spectacular view of the sea you’d otherwise get it if it wasn’t there when you sit outside. I’m sure there is a health and safety or structural reason why it is there but I’m sure you won’t lose any sleep over the 4 star review 😂

The most incredible service here today… after ordering/paying, our little one got really unsettled and we had to leave. We didn’t expect a refund as was no fault at all of the place but they packaged up our food and brought them to our car to take home, along with complimentary drinks. It made a bad situation so much better and the staff were so thoughtful and kind to do this. The food was also amazing and we were really touched that they would go out of their way on such a busy day. Couldn’t recommend enough- and thats without even mentioning the amazing view!!

What a disorganized place. As soon as we walked in you could sense strange vibe. First, not good enough signage about parking. We had an elderly with us who had to walk long way from the car park to the door. This could be avoided if the parking signs were more clear. Then the queue system to order food was pathetic. Such a nice place should have a table service, to avoid the long line (blocking the entrance) and constant confusion to everyone who has just walked in. I think they were possibly short of staff, because the tables were not cleared on time, even though the place was not that busy. Very strange feeling we had there. Even though the location and decor are great, there is too much of confusion and disorganization. Sorry, we will not be back.

A lovely venue and cracking setting all spoilt by dreadful service. Having to go into the bar area to order even when you're sitting in front of the counter in the cafe next door means it takes for ever to get served. Had to ask twice for a missing order that hadn't made it through to the cafe from the bar before someone actually did something. Some staff are clearly rushed off there feet whilst other seem in no hurry to do anything and are obviously trying to get away with doing the bear minimum. Such a shame as it has the potential to be a top venue with such spectacular views. Won't be rushing back which is a real pity as the foods not bad....once it finally arrives🙄

Terrible food, don’t bother if that is what you’re visiting for. The tiny roast pork portions did taste nice, but they were gone with two bites. The pork belly was rubbery and the texture was like rubber. Couldn’t eat the spuds as was swimming in some kind of watery sauce as you can see in the pic, looked like it has all been thrown on a plate without any care or attention. Overall an absolute disaster, and all for nearly 20 quid, absolute robbery. Don’t go there for food if you’re expecting much. This is a 2 star eatery at best. Server was apologetic and this review is no reflection on them.

Beautifully decorated restaurant. Very clean. Staff are experienced and know the menu well. We had starter and main for two with a number of extra sides and a few drinks all for £70. The food is very well cooked and served piping hot and fresh. The flavours of each dish was well balanced. Would highly recommend. We went on a Saturday night and pre booked.
