5 Stars Absolutely blown away by Mezze at the Farmers Arms in St Brides Major! It’s such a gem to find genuine Turkish food in a cozy, rustic pub setting. The food is just incredible — everything is so fresh and full of authentic flavors. You can tell the dishes are made with real care, from the perfectly cooked meats to the rich, flavorful dips and sides. We had a mix of cold and hot meze, and every single bite was a delight. The lamb was melt-in-your-mouth good, and the mixed grill meat was probably the best I’ve ever had! What makes it even better is how well Turkish cuisine fits into that rustic pub atmosphere — it’s different, exciting, but still feels like home. The staff were super friendly, happy to explain the dishes, and made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend if you’re after something a bit different but absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back!!

Nice pub and dog friendly. Staff were great, as was the service. The food was ok. We were a large party, and the food came out hot and prompt, although the onion rings were dripping in oil, and the chicken sharer was dry and seemed overcooked or stored under a heat lamp.

A friend and I booked for 1200 on a Sunday. As soon as we arrived, there was a sign on the front door "No Sunday Lunches", which was a huge disappointment. I had looked at the extensive menu online prior to arriving there, and I had another option in mind. The chicken and Ribs. We arrived and were taken to our table. There were only 3 other parties sitted down, which I thought was a bit strange, as this establishment was usually packed out on a Sunday. We were handed a limited menu with the standard pub grub items. No grill items, no Chicken or burger items either. No chicken and ribs. My friend and I decided to go elsewhere. The cleanliness of the pub is shocking. The carpets looked like they haven’t been hoovered and cob webs on pictures. Since Marstens have taken over from Brains, it has severely gone down hill.

Surely one of the best locations in Wales. Pity the service and fare didn't match it. Went there on a beautiful, crisp October day and sat outside. We had to move from our first table because of an overflowing drain under the adjacent table. The stench was appalling. Ordered our food - 1 bagel, 2 paninis (which turned out to be bread rolls) plus 2 drinks for more than £44. Not cheap. The two drinks were served separately and only after we reminded the staff we were still a drink short after 10 minutes. Of the list of beers on sale (maybe 5 or 6) only one was available. No chips to accompany our "rolls" but that's fair enough i guess. Enjoyed the view but that was about it. Food was mediocre- filled a gap but not much more. Won't be returning.
