Came here for a friend's birthday, felt so welcome as soon as we walked through the door, highly recommend the place, landlady goes above and beyond, definitely go check it out 😀

Decided to try out Village Pantry on my way to work. I brought a Ham & Egg roll for lunchtime. Very fresh totally enjoyable. Customer service was excellent, served with a smile the lady even opened the door for me when I left. Competitive prices. I will most definitely be returning. So I highly recommended this Pantry for your breakfast/lunch or quick snack on the go. Rating out of 10. 9/10

Best family friendly fish and chips in broadstairs ! Lovely service and polite staff who were very accommodating with our pram and baby. We were greeted with really good portion sizes , tasty cod and great skin on chips. We loved the kids menu and were offered a high chair and plastic cutlery for our baby . Would eat here every day if we could

My husband and I had a good meal. My gnocchi was usual and very tasty. We were so fortunate to have aview over the sea and the most beautiful sunset. All the staff were lovely and helpful. But you do need to book on a sunny evening.

Ordered and was told 1 hour wait , we were happy to accept this order. Food arrived and when my son poured some on his plate the oil swam out of the container before any sauce, the chicken balls were swimming in oil in the bag and the satay sauce was also topped with oil, when I called to let them know I was told ok will do better next time! I explained it was not edible and they could collect it or I would return it, I was told no refund as it’s a £60 order and we can have 10% off next time, I tried to explain what customer service was and having ordered here for over 20 years( aware it has changed hand and telephone staff) I’ve never had to complain. I also stated £6 off when £60 of food was not edible was an insult, and quite frankly do not wish to order from them again, I was told ok sorry to lose you as a customer and hung up on me. I will be returning this food on my way to my night shift and never returning, I accept busy nights things get complacent but rudeness and manners cost nothing

We came in a couple of times last week for pots of tea and a couple of gins. Friendly service from a great team. Clean cafe / bar and good pricing. We shall return soon.

I ordered a delivery includes ribs noodles rice and chicken satay all the food was fine apart from the RIBS I paid £6.60 for. However there was no meat on the bones. I paid for a box of BONES. When I called to ask why there was no meat on my ribs they were very rude and told me that that’s just how they come. So I continued to ask for a refund on the ribs and they declined as that’s just how the ribs come apparently! I EILL NOT BE ORDERING AGAIN AND IF YOU WANT MEAN ON UR RIBS THEN I SUGGEST GOING TO A DIFFERENT CHINESE !!!! i am very disappointed.

Food quality was poor, cheap produce and lacked authenticity in flavour’s & cuisine. Wouldn’t recommend unfortunately.

We have had the best breakfast ever the food was cooked fresh and perfect. A warm welcome from everyone in there and friendly atmosphere highly recommend it to everybody.

I ordered my food at 1.03 the estimated delivery time was supposed to be between 1:25 - 1:45 after waiting until 1:50 I was getting extremely impatient and agitated, my food finally arrived at 2:15 cold, the food was greecy and the spicy wings where burnt to the bone. Not happy what so ever, will definitely not be ordering from this place.

The intention was to have a meal in the Spitfire café. I paid a visit to the male toilet and was unable to clean myself properly because of the complete lack of toilet paper, plus paper towels and soap. I pointed this to a female employee of the Café, her reaction was I never go into the male toilet to check the basic facilities, only the ladies toilets. No other attempt was made to replace the missing items. Due to the filthy state of the place, therefore, I made no attempt to order any food. The Spitfire public café, should be shut down, until the basic hygiene standards are met. Kent Country Council Public Health will receive a copy of this review. Under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 the Council has the power to require the provision of sanitary facilities in relevant places which includes places used for "the sale of food or drink members of the public for consumption on the premises".

Went there for a spot of lunch,so thought i would have the baked potato with mushroom stroganoff,that was a mistake.One teaspoon full of stroganoff and s potato that must have been cooking for a week,so will not be eating there again and do not recomend the Stroganoff.

Phoned up to make a order last night 30th dec and the guy that answered the phone to take my order was amazing, even though he must of been quiet busy he was patiently going through the menu with me as I wasn’t to sure what to order. When the food the turned up it was to high standards, very nice and I was very pleased. Will defo be returning and forwarding this place on to friends and family. Can I just say a big thank you to the guy from last night making my first experience very smooth what a great guy to have in your restaurant. Sorry didn’t get your name 🤦🏻

Craved a fry up and got everything I wanted. The staff are ridiculously friendly and the service is spot on.
