Food quality was poor, cheap produce and lacked authenticity in flavour’s & cuisine. Wouldn’t recommend unfortunately.

I haven't had a good Chinese for SO long since as we are vegetarian and we used to order more meaty dishes. But I had to try the vegan chicken selection and oh my god it was SO delicious!!!!! Satay chicken was my FAVOURITE and now I can have it again because you guys do the best vegan satay 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 so so nice.

I've read some of the previous reviews and all I can say is that my egg fried rice and chicken in black bean sauce was one of the worst, most rubbery and least flavoursome Chinese food I've had in a long time. Maybe the chef has changed or the lights had gone out in the kitchen - whatever, it really wasn't worth the money and I'm not sure if our dog would have been interested. For the time being I ill avoid this takeaway, there are plenty of better options in Broadstairs.

Absolutely disgusting two dishes with hairs, one long copper red shoulder length and one black 3 inch long hair called them up as compleatly put off food asked them to come collect all food as we would not eat after these findings to be told they will come collect the hair and sort refund, they called us back and said it wasn’t their hair (myself and my sister in law have blonde hair and our partners have short brown hair) so where did they come from! To be told basically we’re lying is a joke, we didn’t eat the food they could have taken it. what would we get out of any of this we have used this Chinese place for years but after receiving attitude from the owner who thinks because she’s had the business for 10 years she can treat customers that way, take the money and insult us is disgusting

Ordered a take away from here and when the food arrived two separate dishes had two almighty dirty long hairs in them. This isn’t the first time either, this has happed 3 times!!! Appalling service when we complained we was met with a very aggressive lady who told us she had owned the business for 10 years and refused to give a refund, instead telling us that we are the problem for complaining!!! We will never use this take away ever again, complete and utter filth. Think they need a site inspection asap!!

Confusing menu left us not happy. Barbecued Spare Ribs at £6.80. Five Ribs were served in a sickly sauce, no mention of this sauce in the description, and it was thrown away as a result. Special Offer Egg Fried Rice + any main course at £6.30. It turned out this was a small portion with some Fried Rice in the same container, not the two separate dishes we expected. Finally minimum spend of £15 if you want to use a card, quite a high minimum. We were not impressed, and recommend new customers may want to ask questions first to make sure they are getting what they expect.

Food good but be careful when you order as it cost £5 more than what it said on their website. I have had this meal before so was very surprised as it was a big jump

My mum has been shielding since last March and has wanted a Chinese meal since then. She is 87 soon so we gave her the menu and said we'd do an order for her birthday. She ticked nearly everything on the menu! I rang the order through, lady was very efficient and double checked I went to collect and it was all ready. It was blooming lovely, the best meal we could have had for her birthday! Lots of leftovers but look forward to having it again tomorrow! Friendly helpful staff too. Thank you!

Had a Chinese from here tonight, standard not good at all, had prawn balls & the batter was grey and sloppy, chips soggy and cold, the only nice thing was my king prawn omlette. Also you have to pay for delivery which within at least a mile radius you don't with any other Chinese takeaways. Also a rather big price hike. 4 out of 5 of my dishes had increased between 10p to 30p Not happy with tonight's meal, you would think with the present situation they wouldn't be wanting to increase prices they would just be happy with your customer

We hadn't used this Takeaway before, but we'll certainly be using it again. The food was well prepared & tasty, the service was very good & we even had Banana Fritters for dessert!

I haven’t used this takeaway for ages But have had a takeaway nearly every week The food is flavoursome & always arrives hot & not greasy

This is the most consistently good takeaway around and the best Chinese in Thanet, and I’ve tried most of them!!...although they’re not the cheapest, they do the best food....you must try their salt and pepper squid..it’s amazing!

Our regular Chinese take out. Quick service, quick delivery and very tasty food. A great go to local take out.

Lovely and make dishes to suit me, leaving out ingredients inconsistent with my diet and adding too. Salt n chilli mushrooms and aubergine dishes out standing

Nothing unusual but good quality takeaway chines, always fast and tasty, the singapore fried rice is particularly good

Would 100% recommend this takeaway to all, it is well priced and the staff are quick and friendly, The duck is my favourite from Lucky House.

The special offer combos are great value! Best chow mein in broadstairs :-) Would thoroughly recommend this Chinese.

After having moved to Broadstairs last year, I've been searching around for not only good restaurants here in the area, but of course for good takeaways and, even better, restaurants that deliver. I've been asking around and gathering opinions from people I've met and, when it comes to the Chinese cuisine, then one name has been recommended by nearly everyone I asked: Lucky House.
