We came in a couple of times last week for pots of tea and a couple of gins. Friendly service from a great team. Clean cafe / bar and good pricing. We shall return soon.

This is actually regarding. An order. Ordered food online, and it never came. The restaurant accepted the order and we waited a hour for this as it said it was out for delivery. Never contacted us to inform us that they couldn't actually fulfill the order. Then told me in a text message exchange that they would get my review removed, and then informed me how I was rude when there was failings this evening on their behalf. Unfortunate as in the past have never had a problem, and it's unfortunate you chose to text message exchange instead of answering the phone. We waited an hour, it showed us the tracking then said delivered. Also they never apologiesed for there mistake in the text message exchange. Also order number was never asked for which I found strange. This could have been delt with much better, please change the way you speak to others.

Stayed for a short break, location right in the centre of the town, near all the amenities. Very quirky decor, antique style toilet, comfortable beds, etc. All in all, a great place to stay when in Broadstairs. We'll come again!

Bit apprehensive as had read bad reviews, however no complaints from us. Had tea and cappucino. Ordered a small pastry, tables and surroundings all clean. A few other people in there when we were there. Staff very attentive and obliging. Would try again and maybe have brunch.

Where do I start, Tasteless over priced food, awful management and overall a bad experience. I ordered the vegan option which was stated I could have, to my shock horror it was non vegetarian sausages and normal butter, sent it back and was told no vegetarian sausages, why take my order then? Money grabbing awful place

Delightful cafe, just right contemporary furniture and decorations. Fabulous cappuccino and scones. Very unusually wash hand basin in toilet. It’s a place not to miss.

We popped into Artfuls for breakfast. We had two meat eaters, one vegan and one veggie. Despite the fact that they advertise they provide veggie and vegan options and there are clearly items on the menu that are vegan (tomatoes, mushrooms etc) we were told there was no vegan options. The staff are unaccommodating to the point of being unfriendly - all told not a great experience.

A friendly cafe / gin bar that was very welcomming. We went in the daytime and saw the young lady and at the weekend and saw the owner. Both were friendly. The bar is colourful and very clean. A huge range of gins including the local Anno ones which we had. And in the daytime we had cakes and tea. The bar is also dog friendly. Recommended.

We have attended this little cafe bar on many occasions. Situated in the heart of Broadstairs Kent. The decor bright and colourful. Cleanliness to excellent standard. However, we arrived for brunch at 12:35 and was informed by the female waitress that the brunch menu had finished. The only available food available was cakes, scones, tea cakes etc because she was on her own and could not do any food. We also wanted to order cocktails, she couldn't do those either as she couldn't make cocktails. There were at least 3 other couples that came into the cafe and was told the same thing. Therefore we all left leaving the cafe empty. Had we all stayed, the cafe could have at least taken £200. I blame management not for arranging and ensuring they have the correct trained staff on duty. The owner / manager Neil Parton & Michael Whitehead obviously are not interested in ensuring they cater for the community and visitors alike. However, I understand Mr Neil Parton is known in the community, as I believe he was the Manager at Morrisons in Sheppey and Larkfield stores before leaving. I do hope the management sort out staffing and realise during these difficult times, families travel far afield to visit special places like Artfuls and it us very very disappointing, especially when you have children.

Artfuls’ staff were unfriendly and surly ; to the point where it was uncomfortable. The cafe seems pleasant enough, good location not far from the beach, nice space, a mix of seating with tables and couches. But when we visited it was impossible to see past the unwelcoming, short and dismissive service from two male staff who were not gifted in customer service or charm.

I don’t leave many reviews unless deserved and this one, I promised I would do. We visit Broadstairs regularly and have eaten out for breakfast in various places. Walking passed Artfuls in the town centre, opposite The Thirty Nine Steps, we decided to stop and have breakfast. A small but welcoming venue with friendly, happy staff. I had the Eggs Benedict and my son had the Mr. Bumble Breakfast. Great quality ingredients, well presented and prepared to perfection. For me, so far, the best breakfast in Broadstairs. Well done Artfuls and thank you!

Came with my family after being recommended there , wasn’t a friendly welcome when walked in the place was empty, we headed to a sofa yes we did use two chairs from other tables , the young lad was shaking his head then I think it was the owner who asked us to move to a table of four as if they got busy we was taken up three tables , thought it was a bit Harsh.. anyway we left and went somewhere else walked pass a hour later the place still empty…. It’s a shame staff need to be more friendly.. won’t be going there again ..

I treated my Auntie & Uncle to breakfast at Artfuls in Broadstairs recently and it was such a treat. I had the Eggs Royal which was delightful and the eggs were poached to perfection. My Uncle had the traditional English Breakfast which was the tastiest he had eaten and my auntie had the Eggs Benedict which was just as good. The attention to detail with the decor has shown that the owners have put a lot of thought into bringing this hidden gem to life. The staff were very attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend Artfuls in Broadstairs. If you are visiting Broadstairs they do Bed & Breakfast, morning tea's & coffee, lunches, and afternoon tea. In the evening they serve a wide range of cocktails and small plates. Definitely worth a visit more than once... Teresa O. Market Harborough

A lovely little find for a break after a long walk. Comfy cafe with friendly, welcoming staff. Just popped in for a coffee and tea cake. Best iced coffee I’ve had in the UK. Generous helping of fresh butter with tea cake (not a tiny foil pack). All served with a smile. Very reasonably priced too. Would recommend.

We visited this cafe/ gin bar today and were thrilled with our ‘find’. Cosy, spotlessly clean and very welcoming, Our paninis were delicious, our pots of leaf tea tasty and Ryan a delight to meet and chat to. Modest prices. Nothing was too much trouble....

A modern stylish little cafe just off the front. A good choice of cakes. We had soup (the bread was amazing!) and panini. Really good tea! It was quiet but perhaps not surprising for a damp cold February day. Highly recommended.

Sunday dinner with the family . Warm welcome, very busy but they coped well . Sunday roasts were lovely , plenty of meat , roasties in a bowl . We ordered pigs in their blankets as an extra well worth it . Prices were very reasonable , will return.

This place is a lovely atmosphere however one of our servers was quite rude. I didn’t catch her name however she was blonde and a slim figure. Her skirt was so short and her attitude was rude. I expected more from this restaurant. Food was great.

Reading the other reviews on here I believe I may have just come on a bad day. £7.50 for an incredibly small breakfast sandwich without any sauce with burned bacon, overcooked egg and tough bread. Took them about 25 minutes to get around to serving it while a small Scottish gentleman frantically ran around shouting “2 minutes “ in every direction to just about anyone who would listen. I certainly wouldn’t be recommending this establishment to anyone
