Sooo good. The owner knows and cares about the experience his customers have. Very friendly. Quality of the food - best in Henley. Good quality fresh fish, crispy well made batter. PLUS - I'm a bit of a health nut, so I was buying the fish and chips for someone else. So the owner's wife cooked me up the most awesome spicy rice (which was out of this world) and didn't charge me for it! Best fish and chips by far!!! P.S. you'll go a long way before you find anyone complaining about portion size - very generous

Henley needs wonderful little independent shops like this. We're so lucky to have them. You generally get what you pay for and this is certainly the case here. Worth every penny and the service is always warm and friendly too. Try their hot chocolate on a cold wintry day!

We loved this tiny spot in town. Great flavor selection and choice of cones and waffles. There are also pint and quart sizes to go. Pricey but worth every bite. Wish it were open later in the day!

The best Persian food I’ve had. 10/10 every time. The staff and the owner are lovely, warm and welcoming. I don’t live locally but anytime I am passing I make an excuse to stop here.

We've dined at The Square so many times and it's always excellent. It's a go to place for authentic Portuguese cuisine (my reference being I come from a Portuguese family, so feel qualified to comment). Service is always friendly and professional and with a smile. Good fresh sea food, and meals made with care, in a home cooked style.

We have given this Eatery a few chances now .. only to be let down again this past week. The food was served up slushy and sloppy and had obviously just been thrown together. We are very familiar with Pan Asian foods and meals / Recipes and use a couple of Restaurants in London. This outlet in Henley comes nowhere near on food or service. The service was also not great .. the person there serving was an Irish lady and seemed put-out and had a bit of an attitude. Really poor show. We will not be using this restaurant again and we will, of course, not be recommending it.

Amazing home cooked Sunday lunch with all the trimmings. Good sized portions, delicious crispy and fluffy roast potatoes, fresh Yorkshire pudding, side of cauliflower cheese, lashing of gravy and piping hot. Very quick and friendly service. Cosy interior. Everything you want for a quality Sunday lunch. Highly recommend.

Brilliant place! The Russian/Eastern European woman wasn’t super friendly but the other staff were. Great drinks! My friends and I ordered espresso martini’s tonight. Lovely vibe for drinks!

We had an enjoyable meal here on Friday night. The food was very good and the staff were great. We had booked a few days in advance and they called on the day to check that we were okay with the fact that there was going to be live music that night, we appreciated the fact that they took the trouble to do that. The live music was fine, the downside for us was that we were placed on a table right by the bar. A group came in for drinks who were enjoying themselves which was great but it became so noisy that we genuinely couldn't hear each other speak. We'll know next time to ask not to be so close to the bar, having not been before we didn't think to ask. We did like the fact that the menu was different to the usual offerings and we were spoilt for choice.

I was there on Valentine’s Day, and the waiting time for the food was about an hour, but I still rated 4 stars as Alan was the one who served our table and he sincerely apologise and followed closely with the food order for us, definitely will revisit another time

Glad place to go to on Spurs game. Great beer and quick service.

Comfort of tables and chairs could be improved on, but I'd still go back!
