We had a selection of small plates of which there was a very good choice.. The food was very tasty but are served cold .. hence 4 stars.. Our waitress Molika was very friendly, efficient and helpful... We'll be back. Henley on Thames is a busy place so parking can be difficult.

From the time we entered until the time we left we were made welcome and looked after by Molika. The food was extremely flavoursome and we loved each and everything we ordered . Especially the spicy sea bass curry , sticky chicken and the set menus .Had a really good time . Thanks

Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing compared to my previous experiences. We chose the lunchtime tapas set, but the chef wasn’t flexible with any adjustments — despite informing the hostess, Molly, that we don't consume pork. She was kind enough to check with the kitchen, but we were told that no changes could be made. This rigidity may partly explain the noticeably reduced lunchtime crowd. Additionally, the portion sizes and the overall taste of the dishes seem to have declined. The vibrant flavours and generous portions the Giggling Squid was once known for were definitely missing. To top it off, we ordered the Melting Heart Chocolate dessert, which arrived frozen solid. After raising the issue with the manager, the dessert was simply microwaved and returned to us. When questioned, the manager casually mentioned that they "always microwave it" rather than baking it properly — and they served us the same microwaved dessert. Overall, the experience left a lot to be desired, both in terms of flexibility and food quality.

Amazing food, lunch time tapas is so nice. The new starter crispy squid bits it's really tasty, duck jicami, honey duck, lamb massaman, sticky chicken and chicken pad thai. All amazing and tastes so fresh. Definitely worth the money. Our server Molika was really friendly and helpful. If you haven't been, you need to come try.

Giggling Squid topped the bill at the bottom of the hill. Staff excellent, being served by Alan. The Squid bits perfect and the pork dumplings , served in own small bowls with sauce. I had the Pawnee prawns whilst partner had red curry. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Presentation fantastic and good.atmosphere.. polite but chatty dining. Well worth a visit..

My second time here and it didn’t disappoint. From a very friendly welcome, and complimentary glass of Prosecco for my granddaughter (celebrating her 18th), the whole experience was superb. The food here is beyond fabulous . Can’t wait to go back.

What an amazing Mother’s Day meal. Not only was the food delicious, all the staff members were kind, friendly and attentive even though they were clearly working hard. Jon was absolutely lovely to us and made the meal such a special experience for our family. 10/10 team!

I was there on Valentine’s Day, and the waiting time for the food was about an hour, but I still rated 4 stars as Alan was the one who served our table and he sincerely apologise and followed closely with the food order for us, definitely will revisit another time

I love the Giggling Squid chain, but the quality can really vary. Unfortunately, the food at this location was quite average, and some dishes weren’t heated through properly. Of course, I’ve only been once, so it could have just been an off day!

We loved this place. The setting was lovely, such a good vibe! Staff were fab, and the service was spot on. Clayton looked after us and he was attentive but not OTT. But..., the food was incredible, such a good choice, and really authentic. A mix of tapas starters and I had the Royal fish combo, a Thai red curry with sticky rice, and it was to die for! We'll definetely return and highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a wonderful meal this evening, both of us have visited giggling squids all over the UK. And the staff at this one went above and beyond. Firstly, we were greeted by what seemed to be either the general manager or the shift runner, an older gentleman who was so extremely welcoming, a wonderful warm personality to have greet you upon entry. Coming from hospitality myself, I can massively appreciate when someone takes the time out of service to speak to customers and he did exactly that. Then we were served by a gentleman named Alan, he checked back throughout our meal… and made sure that we were satisfied throughout our food journey. So thank you very much for your impeccable service and good food as always, we will definitely be coming back.

We popped in early Monday evening around 5.45 pm before going to the local cinema, and our food was excellent, as it has been on every other occasion we have been to the Henley on Thames restaurant. I had the spicy 'drunken noodles which I love.

Restaurant was busy with lots of satisfied customers. Food was great and plentiful. Took a little while to come, but nothing too bad. Our server, Alex, was very attentive.

Beautiful food. Would recommend the pork belly and satay to start and the massaman curry for a main dish. Lovely service, beautiful staff. Malika served us and she was wonderful.
