Four stars with details below: + Lovely coffee shop. I like the vibe. Good service. + Best cappuccino (with oat milk) in town. 5/5 + Orange juice a bit wattery, doesn't taste as oranges but mandarins. Needs improvement. 2/5 + Lovely ham and cheese sandwich but the salad was just okay, needs improvement. 4/5 + Lovely smoothies 5/5

Very disappointed in the service today. I've ordered two different filling cookies for takeaway and unfortunately I didn't check that they were what I ordered, I take the responsibility for that but still very disappointed by the lack of trust in receiving what you've ordered. Now I'm at home with two cookies with ingredients that we can't eat.

Didn't get a chance to review food and drink so perhaps 1 star is unfair but this is the experience I have had today at this place. Whilst I was waiting to be served - no one in front of me so first in the queue the 2 ladies who were behind the till were more interested in talking to their friends( who had their drinks already) who were obviously served before me. That I could just about tolerate but then the server still didn't even acknowledge me or even just a friendly hi I will be with you soon as I'm happy to wait but I was ignored and then the server was standing looking on her phone not a quick check of the time but actively on/scrolling through her phone. I was standing there staring waiting to be served not distracted or looking away etc. But trying to engage with the server so this is a big no no from me when you have customers waiting I'm sorry but that isn't good enough so I took my little one who was waiting so patiently for a drink and took my custom elsewhere

Beautiful sourdough bread killed by cheap sausage "filling" . £7 for a single supermarket sausage, some slivers of streaky bacon in poorly cooked, dry bread. One slice crispy the other raw as though the toaster was broken. Table next to us had same issue. Portugese custard tart and coffee were excellent.

They have by far the best filled biscuits in Henley …. But have you seen how dirty it is??? Bathroom has black mould on the ceiling, it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for a loooong while (except the toilet itself and sink). The back room has a lot to ask for in respect of cleanliness. As I was walking out I scanned the floor and shelves in the food preparation area…. Crumbs and bits of food everywhere. Best biscuits I have ever had and polite a staff but I will not be going back again.

The negative review is mainly due to the quality of our hot drinks. Speciality beans but the coffee looks and tastes like it came off a vending machine. Burnt milk with bitterness and no texture whatsoever.

I am a coffee fanatic and won't put my tongue near any of the chained stuff! Berries has the most utterly delicious coffee (home-roasted by the owner, I gather): one excellent cup and you're sorted for the day. And [don't read further if you're a waistline-watcher] the cookies are simply sublime. A lovely spot to sit and people watch too. Only one small quibble: the toilet needs redecorating to make it on the same level as the coffee!

Went for lunch and a drink and wouldn't recommend. I paid £11.45 for a sandwich and ice tea. Returned my first sandwich as it was meant to be avocado, hummus and feta and it was an avocado sandwhich with a couple lumps of feta so I took it back and requested the chicken, avocado, cheese and mayo. The staff were nice about the return and new sandwich but unfortunately it was entirely below average. I've made tastier sandwiches myself at home.

Been to Henley a few times, and im fussy about coffee, i wont do your generic Costa or Starbucks etc, no offence but their coffee is on the whole poor. Berries Coffee in Henley os a step up from anything available in the town. I found out that the owner actually roasts the coffee beans at his home in small batches…….. The cookies are sublime, Nutella and Beurno are stunning. Dont go here if your worried about your ‘Henley’ waistline………. I think previous reviews were collected whilst it was under its previous owner.

Most disappointed. Quaint little place but poorly laid out and in need of an update. Service was awful. 45 minutes for a sandwich and sausage roll and two coffees. At a price of £19.30, very expensive too. The £5 sausage roll was soggy (probably heated in a microwave). There are plenty of better places in Henley.

A group of us were doing a long walk and found Berries by accident when we were looking for Café Rouge, which has recently closed. What a find ! The coffee was most excellent which I can say with a little authority having lived in Italy for 10 years. Also Rudolf was most knowledgeable about his coffee making process and his mixture of beans was perfect (arabica). I strongly recommend that you go and try it.

Small cafe on high st. Seating is quite limited and facilities ie the one toilet adequate but not very well designed with tiny and fiddly lock door . We arrived about 13:30 on Saturday and although coffee was good the range of cakes on offer were v basic and didn’t look particularly appetising. I visit this coffee shop fairly regularly as it’s a convenient place to meet friends. The staff are friendly and efficient and the atmosphere is pleasant. Unfortunately, the coffee, which is very nice, has been lukewarm to the point of being cold and at £3.30 a cup it’s hard to justify. I’m afraid that we are thinking of taking our custom to one of the many other cafes in town!

We stopped by The Greyhound Inn in Whitchurch-on-Thames for a short break during our countryside walk, hoping to have a nice cup of tea. To our surprise, tea wasn't on offer, which is unusual for a traditional British pub. Nevertheless, we decided to stay and ordered a local shandy, sparkling water, and a portion of chips to share. The setting more than made up for the limited drinks menu. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a spacious interior that still feels cozy thanks to the tasteful decor and soft lighting. It’s the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable and relaxed, whether you’re a local or just passing through like us. What really stood out was the garden area. There were plenty of tables available, and even on a pleasant day, it wasn’t overcrowded. It’s clearly a popular resting point for walkers and cyclists, and the garden is ideal for enjoying a drink or bite to eat in the fresh air. The shandy was refreshing and clearly made from local ingredients, which added a nice touch of authenticity. The chips were hot, crispy, and satisfying — just what we needed after a few miles of walking. The service was quick and friendly, and although we didn’t try the full menu, the dishes we saw being served around us looked hearty and appealing. All in all, The Greyhound Inn is a charming stop for a casual drink or meal, especially if you're out exploring the surrounding area. While tea lovers might be slightly disappointed, the pub’s atmosphere and comfort more than make up for it. We’ll certainly consider coming back — perhaps next time for a full lunch or dinner.
