The best restaurants in Chinnor South Oxfordshire South East

The Wee Bookshop and Cafe closed down permanently last year. It will reopen on 11th July 2022 as Cob Cottage Cafe. Also offering crafts. Hope this is helpful

With the local hotel we were staying in only offering a carry out breakfast we found this local gem through a google search. Delicious cooked breakfast - excellent value, and proper Yorkshire tea. Friendly staff.

Fantastic, cozy pub. Friendly crowd, great food vans a few days a week.

Main couse was not great but just good. Wine was great. Service also. But I cannot get over the salmon starter. 4 dice size cubes of salmon. Overcooked and tasteless. I am sorry but for almost 8 pound I expect a decent portion and some FLAVOUR!

Tried the buffet all you can eat Sunday lunch. Onion Bagi very average as was the rest of the food. Not very many in the restaurant and why do you have to book? Stoken church Mowchat no booking and better food

What a hidden gem and to think every pound spent and morsel consumed helps to support charitable services for the local community Excellent quality, clean, very good service, very reasonable cost. All home produced and fresh on the day. Full English, panini, soup, jacket potatoes and a chose of 2-3 hot lunches (home cooked) and a luscious cake of the day. It was so difficult to choose. Nice cafe situated in the old bank. Staff are always pleasant and nice choice of cakes. Tea nicely served in pots on wooden trays and cakes nicely served on wooden platters. Reasonably priced. Tiffin cake was nice but a bit stodgy. Very dog friendly with free doggy treats. The cleanest toilet ever! Unfortunately there was an overpowering background chemical smell in the cafe. Would definitely visit again.

Birthday lunch. Fantastic food and warm, friendly and attentive service. Just right for a special occasion. We'll be back!!

We had an absolutely amazing Sunday lunch plenty of veg and meat on the plate it was hot and tasty. the staff were very friendly and helpful. I must say even the desserts were Fab. having booked it a few days previous they confirmed our booking and we had a nice table. Keep up the good work and we will be back.
