Bipul's Kitchen in South Oxfordshire

It is easy to see why Bipul' scores so highly in previous reviews. From the tables and chairs outside to relax, with a drink, while you wait for your takeaway, to the decor and the furnishings inside it is clear that a great deal of commitment has gone into making this the go-to place in Chinnor. What mattered most though was the food, and it was excellent. From an extensive menu, everything was fresh and well presented, and the service was calm and considered. Certainly worth another visit.

What a gem! We had the Sunday Buffet which was a fabulous choice of staters/ mains and sides. The cleanliness, attractive decor made it a great dining experience, but it was the staff and food that get 5*+ Really helpful, friendly attentive staff. Great choices at the buffet serve with with a smile. Loved the salad that you could add to. We ate at 2, and were finished around 3, when they were due to shut, but no one said anything, they just let us finish our drinks unhurried. Can’t fault it an we will definitely return. Amazing value too!

This restaurant is first class, all dishes are done with care and they are fantastic. Last week, my husband Peter, my son Greg and I had the pleasure to have an absolutely amazing dinner at Bipul’s Kitchen where we had whole leg of lamb, and I cannot praise it enough, sincerely it was high on top of the one of the best meals I had in my life, everything was so delicious 😋 really yummy! I highly recommend as you certainly won’t regret it. The three of us ate a lot, and we are sure that would serve 4 hungry people. Truly fantastic option, we love all Bipul’s delicious food and the whole staff with their kindness and care but this a must, they really hit the mark with this dish! Had a lovely meal with friends on a cold evening. Very welcoming staff, quick service and excellent food as always. So lucky to have this on our doorstep.

Lovely food and excellent service, quick, polite, attentive and welcoming. The food was excellent - a good range of ‘heats’ for the spices and healthy and fresh ingredients with plenty of choice. The cuisine is lighter than much Indian food, but the dishes are very similar. The onion bhaji were to die for! As a group of friends eager to catch up, there was no sense of needing to have us move on once we had finished eating, in order to close up on a cold winter’s night. I’m from New Zealand, visiting family here in Chinnor, and would definitely want to eat here again when I’m next in the country.

The service was impeccable. We had to cancel last minute from a larger order to a smaller one and they were totally fine about it and helpful. I am also coeliac and felt very reassured and safe with this food which is not the norm when it comes to takeaways and food. The food is delicious, the best curries we’ve had as families. The curry was spicy and sweet and the popadoms were perfect. Would recommend for an easy dinner that tastes like the crème de la crème of meals. Thank you Bipuls!

We had a really good meal and the staff were both friendly and thoughtful, giving us plenty of time to choose our main course.

Our local has closed for refurbishment so tried this place for a takeaway really impressed with the food, speed and service.

We visited last Friday and had the most amazing experience. The food was excellent and we received outstanding customer service and care. Staff were attentive without being overbearing and extremely polite. The atmosphere was good and the restaurant was busy. There was a wide choice of dishes on the menu and when the food arrived it was hot and well presented. Thank you for a lovely evening and we will certainly be coming back.

Popped into the restaurant for a quick meal. The staff were very welcoming, chatty and friendly. The food arrived quickly and was extremely tasty. Pity it's a couple of hours from where we live as I would definitely go again. Thoroughly recommend

Top food, top service and even made us a Karak chai that wasn’t even on the menu. Nice quiet setting and great atmosphere.

Have been a regular customer for about 17 years now. In that time I’ve never had anything less than great service and delicious food. Takeaway and eat in are both brilliant. Easily one of the best curry restaurants I’ve ever used.
