The best restaurants in Folkestone Harvey Central Shepway South East

We have dined at Marleys for many years, a friendly restaurant serving great food. The menu is a refreshing change from the usual fare. But on our last visit we were shocked at the price of a bottle of wine !! We will continue dining at Marleys but restrict ourselves to wine by the glass or beer.

Lovely little place. Friendly, welcoming. Visited with my kids for an afternoon tea and the following week with my Mum for an afternoon tea. Lovely food. Reasonable priced. Will be back again

If you want authentic Italian Ice Cream, served by friendly staff with a smile then look no further! So many flavours to choose from and all made freshly each day by Massimo himself. Top tip, get there early!

Just the ticket are fabulous caters they did the buffet for my charity ball the food was amazing when I have another event I will be using them again

Fantastic range of cakes all made on site. Slices, or large cakes for Parties, Weddings Birthdays etc All fresh and very reasonably priced. All to take away.

Went to Folkestone for day trip. Friend recommended we visit this place amongst other things. So we turned up on spec and were asked if we had reservation and replied that we didn't and were then asked to wait couple of minutes for a table to be cleaned. Phew, yippee we're going in. And how glad am I that we did? The food in here is exceptional, really really good plant based grub that is tasty and filling. Lovely staff who looked after us well and really nice space to eat. Drinks were great, my partner thought her home made lemonade was as good as she's had and I had a DFL cos I was today. Thanks folks, hope we can get back soon.

Lovely food and service, would definitely recommend

A really nice place with a good selection of food. Different flavors are combined creatively and deliciously. It's not for nothing that the restaurant has received many awards. A reservation seems to be mandatory, otherwise it will be difficult to get a place. The service is very nice and attentive, the atmosphere is very pleasant. There is also a large selection of gluten-free options. We had, among other things, the buttermilk chicken, the steak, and the lamb.

We were cycling on a busy, sunny Saturday and came across this delightful cafe. The staff were warm and welcoming and offered us a secure place to park the bikes so that we could go inside to escape the sun (although there is also outside seating.) There is a good range of all day breakfast and lunch items, all of which are cooked fresh and our avocado, feta and egg on toast was perfect. Lovely coffee and cakes too!

I ordered a cake from here for a 50th birthday party and can honestly say it is one of the nicest cakes I have ever tasted. It was carrot and walnut and I don’t even like carrot cake! I am never ordering a cake from anywhere else!

Being Turkish, I accept that my standards may be higher than the usual customer but we tried quite a few things and they all tasted bland. We ordered köfte, lamb shish, beyti sarma and chicken sizzler. None of them had any flavour and köfte did not taste like köfte or even meat. Chicken sizzler was also a huge disappointment as we were expecting something like the photos from the reviews, but received something like a fajita but not quite? Anyways, sadly would not recommend if you’re used to quality Turkish cuisine.

Evening meal with me wifey. Perfect little hidden gem and genuine Nepalese food. You can tell everything was made fresh. We will be back.
