The best restaurants in Folkestone Harvey Central Shepway South East

Food was excellent, lovely restaurant and very cosy, but the service felt rushed. The FOA seemed stressed and it rubbed off on us from the get go. The service matters just as much as the food when you’re paying this money for a meal and we felt like a nuisance. Later my partner had to get up and ask for our bread so we could eat it with our starter. This place do a lot of things right so it was a bit disappointing. We enjoyed our meal anyway

Absolutely fantastic coffee. The place is so welcoming and the playlist is on point. Only visiting folkstone, but I'll be back again soon and will be back for a coffee!

Absolutely delicious, the best lunch I've had in a while. The food was hot, tasty and fresh. I can't wait to come back. The menu is small but it suits the place. Lovely warm and inviting space. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Was a bit noisy, but overall great! The trifle fried were amazing!

Needed something to eat off the Channel tunnel, food was ready quick, portions were huge. Staff were polite and helpful and the food was delicious and piping hot!

Had a lovely meal here, starters were a little overcooked (Calamari and Halloumi) but main was wonderful, the Shayda Special, selection of meats on a bed of rice and bulgar wheat plus salad. Was so good. The waitress was so lovely and friendly/welcoming and after we had eaten the chef/owner I presume, came out to ask if we had enjoyed our meal, which was lovely.

Jacket potato take outs. Just over £20 for two jackets with drinks. The melted cheese was divine, tuna tasty but could have done with better seasoning and garnishing. Side salad crunchy and fresh. They are well versed with managing hot food take out as it was all packaged well.

Nice cafe with friendly attentive staff. Good freshly cooked food to order that is very reasonable priced.

Best cocktail place in town! Staff are so creative, extremely passionate and knowledgeable. Innovative and delicious cocktails - wonderful atmosphere and the food is stunning too! What a gem. So lucky to have them in our town

waited 15 minutes to be served waited a further 15 minutes for our lunch. Drinks were warm. My friend ordered breakfast which was cold and my jacket potato was not thoroughly cooked. We will not be going again.
