We popped in on a recommendation and it did not disappoint. The service was friendly and the food was incredible. I had the Djangos breakfast and I couldn't stop eating it even though I was full. They even had lots of Gluten Free Options. Can't wait to go back.

The best vegan breakfast I've ever eaten. Generous portions and lovely flavours would highly recommend 👌 Waitress so helpful and accomdating too.

Amazing food at a really reasonable price. I had the tikka bread, girlfriend had the moules frites. Both were so good. Would recommend anyone to eat here if you’re in Folkestone, just a short walk up from the beach, through the old high street. Definitely coming back!

VERY slow. Service hit and miss. Ordered drinks, again very slow to come and then got told that the watermelon had run out and the blender had broken. Pretty poor tbh. Djangos has always been good previously. Won’t be returning sadly.

We have eaten out in Folkestone many many times, and we have to say that this is by far the best all-day breakfast! Great staff, nice atmosphere, good outdoor seating area, and a brilliant meal. Thank you!

I've eaten here for 20 years and food has always been incredible. The team go above and beyond for any changes you'd like to make to dishes and everything is always piping hot and delicious. The wait can be long as they are always busy but I personally am happy to wait for good food. If I wanted fast food I'd go to a chain restaurant

Service is always slow even for a sandwich. The tuna melt is not a tuna melt its a sandwich with cold tuna and grated cheese. Service is managed by kids who are nice but know very little about customer service. ive been there twice and there is always an issue i will not go back again.

Very reluctantly posting this as I don’t like leaving negatives but sorry, it has to be said. Only went for a cappuccino - very disappointing - they either don’t know what they are doing or don’t care. There really is no excuse nowadays. It was anything but a cappuccino.

Django's is a lovely place to eat ,we were made to feel welcome from friendly staff, Husband had a full English Breakfast ,it was really well presented nice and hot and plenty of it ,i had a Greek salad that too was lovely with feta and olives we had a large pot of tea plenty of that too , first visit for my husband who by the way is very fussy , he will go back to try other things on the menu. we didnt have to wait over long for our food the service was great , nice clean place ,food fresh and delicious , we will be going back ....

Even though they were closing in half hr they couldn't have been more accommodating! Great service, nothing was too much and the food was even better !

Always long wait for food but it's delicious so worth it

I never write bad reviews but this one deserves it, so they don’t go out of business. We ordered food and coffee, the food never arrived and the coffee was the worst coffee I had in a while. Since it’s a cafe at least they should get that right. I had to complain about my late cause it was 80% foam and it was all milk, and when they bring me the second one the didn’t change a thing. We waited for the food for 45 minutes and when we asked for an update because we had to leave they said it would still take a while. We cancelled the order and the waitress was really rude about it. She still charged us £6 for the foamy horribly tasting latte and the americano that was supposed to be included in the breakfast. This place really needs to fix their issues and hire new staff.

Service was horrible. Ordered an americano, latte and food. Waited 20 mins for a latte that was basically foamy milk and tasted awful. We waited over half an hour for food and when we asked how much longer it would be because we had to leave they said “a while” so we cancelled food and left. There was no apology from staff for wasting our time.

Great cafe visit today , in fantastic spot, especially for sunny days. Had the a fresh and well dressed Greek salad, lovely quality cheese and big portion. Decent tea in a proper teapot. Quirky, interesting decor. Recommend.

Went there July last year. Food was awesome, freshly cooked and the vibes were just perfect. Highly recommended. Also, a vintage collection downstairs where you can buy stuffs.

Very good customer service as usual. The food was excellent and good value for money. Lovely coffee although £3.45 was a little expensive. The only thing that let it down was they allow dogs. On my visit a large husky type dog came in and its owner deemed it acceptable to keep putting a dirty dog bowl on the table. Otherwise excellent.

We’re a family of three who came on a Sunday morning for late brunch. As I mentioned to the service ladies, we loved their restaurant! The place is packed with collections of novelty/ relic and antique style of things and plants, even the black board with food of the day is a cute being. We did wait 30mins for food to arrive but the time we spent was worth while. Delicious delicates, thoughtfully displayed, worth the money, worth the photo post on Instagram, worth the like. Thank you guys!

Good food, however the service could be improved. The restaurant was staffed by a number of fairly young teenagers who looked as if they needed more support. Tables and cutlery were dirty - for some reason the tables were not being cleared. While waiting for our food we saw 2-3 groups leave before ordering, perhaps due to the wait.

Saw the good reviews on Google and they were all spot on. Great breakfast, big portions, lots of happy people. Book Ona weekend as it can get busy!

Lovely restaurant with a varied menu. The mussels are always delicious, though this time a bit salty and the onion soup was delicious. Service was very prompt with a lovely chatty waitress

My family had a fantastic breakfast here today, great little find after a very popular place down by the harbour had long queues. The staff kindly helped 6 of us sit together with a reshuffle of chairs and the girl serving us was lovely. We had a mixture of Eggs Benedicts & full English breakfasts... the portion sizes was very generous, I was full after just 1 eggs benedict ( 2 on the plate ) Complements to the chef also! Next time in folkestone I will be coming back.

Stopped in for breakfast, ordered the all day breakfast, wow massive plate full of food, bacon, egg, sausage, beans, mushrooms, toast, tomatoes and hash browns all cooked fresh. Yummy yum. Will defo be visiting again.

We popped in here for a quick bite and a coffee. Two out of three coffees were hustled over half a cup. Mine Latte was fine and tasted nice. My daughter’s was too strong for her, and due to the short measure we had to ask for more milk. Food: the ciabatta were really nice. My partner had the soup, which she enjoyed, but the butter came out in a small pot which had been filled up and it had some small black bits in.. yuk! So my Parker just had the plain white stick with the soup. The table next to us had their soup sent back for some reason. Would have liked a choice of breads with the soup. The atmosphere was really good and staff pleasant, but I would probably not go back.

Over a year ago I had the best sandwich of my life here and I have not been able to stop thinking about it (Philly cheesesteak) so incredible. Hope to return some day,I miss you

Very poor coffee, disappointing

What a disappointment! Called in for a warm drink after a bracing walk but decidedly unimpressed by the welcome and atmosphere. We had to ask to see the menu, in response se to the question of ‘what can I get you?’ The ordered hot chocolate was warm (rather than hot), bland and over sweet. A return visit is not planned.

I ate here today with my family for my mums 40th the food was fantastic i had the snitzel the staff were lovely and the decor was beautiful can’t wait to come back

First went there when I won a voucher for a free Breakfast - since then this is my go to place when in Folkestone. Very good quality and friendly service

Went in on the off chance, didn't know anything about the place, but wasn't expecting much. The signs/special boards and whatnot didn't give the greatest impression. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised. Firstly, our waitress, who'd only been there for Three days, was excellent. Sure, she didn't know everything (who does after Three days?) But, she was so polite, personable and so beautifully human and instantly welcoming, that I'm sure that her newness mattered to no one but her. She was honestly lovely. The food was great, I had the moules, my friend had the Chilli. Great portion sizes for the price, beautifully presented and so incredibly tasty. Watching the two waitresses work a busy room was a joy. They were so energetic and engaging. They took the time to check back on everyone and paid enough attention, that if ever I wanted anything extra, they were right there. Very impressed ladies. Thank you so much. :)

I came here with my 6 year old, and met my friend here too, the food was perfect, tasted amazing! Nothing felt like too much trouble, made me a boiled egg instead of fried, lady who served us was extremely polite, patient and couldn’t have done anymore, the chef was so polite and kind and cooked the food so well, he bought crayons and paper over to make my daughter a little less bored, he asked her to draw some pictures and he put them up on the wall and gave her a sweet, made her day, and she wants to come back everyday now! Such respectful people and nothing felt like too much for them! See you again soon! Thank you :)

My Wife and I popped in on 23-08-23 for a breakfast/brunch. The waitress was absolutely lovely and kind and was very accommodating for our spaniel puppy bringing a small treat for her (we sat outside). The food was amazing, I had the breakfast which was "huge" and my wife had garlic mushrooms one bread. The food was 10/10, hot in temperature, obviously freshly cooked and very tasty. I cannot recommend this Cafe & Bistro enough, the staff are a credit to the management and the chef produced an amazing offering. Thank you so much, we look forward to returning! we continue to try everywhere in Folkestone and gave this a go on a sunny day so sat outside. The lady serving did warn everyone that the food would be 20-30 minutes but we didn't even get our order taken for 15 mins. Food was Ok but when we went inside to pay (couldn't wait any longer) we discovered loads of specials that we hadn't been told about.

Delicious breakfast for a veggie and a vegan. Such large portions! Did arrive at peak time on a Saturday and had a little bit to wait for our food but it was worth it. Is now a regular breakfast haunt.

Visited with my daughter we ate mussels and the chicken skewers and garlic bread, all freshly cooked and tasted lovely. Staff friendly, worth a visit.

This is a gem of a place. I really felt the need to write a review due to how great it is. Place was busy on our bank holiday visit but food was still top notch. My eggs benidict was served hot and tasty and all food in my party which consisted of paninis and sandwiches were fresh and well presented. The portions were generous which gave you a feel of value for money. Staff were ultra friendly and on the ball. Next time I come I will be trying one of their cocktails. Keep up the good work. It really is a fab place

We had a fantastic lunch here. The menu had so much choice and the food was excellent with very generous portions. We had our dog with us and he was extremely happy as was given some biscuits and a little blanket to lay on. Everyone was so lovely and friendly, we will definitely be visiting again!
