Great beers...... Great food........ Great staff! Had this cheeky sour yesterday 30/9/23 and very nice indeed! Still some of the best beers in Folkestone! And their Vault City range has always been great as seen in my added picture!

This is by far the best burger I’ve ever had! The fries and the tots were amazing and the flavour of the cream soda bbq sauce was INCREDIBLE! I would 100% recommend and I will be back! Thank you Lucky Chip! Ps Great margaritas!!!

Best. Burger. Ever!!!! I have had many a burger in my life but this, oh my this burger was amazing. I had the Royale Wit Cheese. Sooo tasty. It wasn't stodgy like other burgers I've had. They are served a bit pink in the middle (and they tell you that upfront). I had mine fully done but my boyfriend had his as is and loved it. The fries are crispy and moreish. We had one basket between us and that was enough. We then had Cherry pie for afters. That was extremely tasty too. The staff are very friendly and the service was quick. The music wasn't to my taste but I remember seeing a board outside during the daytime telling you what genre is which night. It is a good job we don't live round here or I would end up the size of a house! Highly recommend! EDIT: One year later. Boyfriend brought me all the way here from Leicestershire so I could go here again 😊 still the best burger ever. (And I've tried quite a few in the last year!) EDIT: Another year later...STILL wonderful!!!!!! Nov 23 EDIT: Changed my burger to a different one (named after an actress, I forget who!) and it was even nicer than my regular!!! May 24 EDIT: New chef but still the best burger ever! Ooh and the cherry pie was yummy with an awesome Chantilly cream 😊

The food is amazing! The best burger I've had in a long time, and don't get me started on the green sauce. NO idea what's in it, but it tastes incredible!! 🔥 The chicken was cooked perfectly, the fries were so tasty, and the philly cheesesteak was made to perfection. Staff are very friendly and willing to have a chat with you. We asked about where they get their ingredients from, and they were very happy to tell us. £80 for 2 of us, including 2 drinks of whiskey and lots of amazing food, as you can see in the picture. I never heard of this place before today, but I will be returning very soon!!

I just had the best chicken burger of my life! The aioli curry dip with the onion rings was also super tasty! The atmosphere was cozy and the service was super friendly. I would eat here again at any time!

Food portion wasn't accurate to price. Delivery driver didn't follow instructions on where to meet me, threatened to leave and was arrogant when I told him he wasn't where he was meant to be. The food was also cold. I am disappointed and do not feel the money was worth spent.

We'd seen the reviews and thought we'd better give this a try and boy, are we glad we did, as friendly staff and delicious food make for the perfect restaurant experience! We ordered burgers, fries, tater tots and drinks. Gotta say, tater tots are new to us and these were so morish. So whatever you order, grab a side of these, you will be so glad you did. As for the burgers, so tasty, well cooked deep flavours and piping hot till the last mouthful. These are right up there with the best burgers we've had! Will we go again, most certainly!

I ordered from Just Eat I don’t often leave reviews unless it’s terrible bad or awesome, on this occasion I’m glad to say it’s the later. I would say one of the absolute best burgers I’ve ever had and fries were also great l. I fully intend on ordering again.

Tonight was meant to be a date night and thisbwas our first time visiting, unfortunately I had a sudden migraine attack and couldn't finish my food, my partner however, managed to devour every last bite her burger was cooked to perfection albeit a little salty. The waitress was understanding of my situation and when asked if I could take away and why we had to leave, she promptly took my food and came back with it all bagged up nicely and even brought me a glass of water to help with the pain. We are definitely going to be coming back for a second (hopefully migraine free) date! Fantastic customer service and an absolutely blinding atmosphere the food was pretty good too (even cold 😉 lol)

I’ve visited many times and always had a great experience. The food is delicious and the drinks menu is varied with a focus on great beer, cocktails and wines. It was the LFC bucket today which made me want to share my review, it was the best damn fried chicken meal I’ve had, and it made me realise that I’ve never had a meal or drink here that I’ve not fully enjoyed. Great atmosphere, it’s dark and styled like a dive bar… but a dive bar it certainly is not.

Went in on Saturday afternoon to enjoy some cocktails. The lady waitress (was wearing a stripey jump suit) was a real pest and very rude with a horrible stare! We hadn't even finished our drinks and she was on us to order another, stood at our table giving us the most awful glare. Made us feel really uncomfortable. She was also very rude and demanding to other customers. I get the point that you want people buying drinks but come on... I work in retail myself and her customer service was damn right rude and patronising. It has totally put me off returning and I will also be spreading this with word of mouth. On the plus side a lovely quirky restaurant.

Website hours say Friday 12am close. The door says 11:30pm. We arrived at 10:55pm to them closing. Unbelievable! Rude staff also.

Great little bar/restaurant right in the heart of the town. Really good food at a great price and great customer service. Music was very loud for mid afternoon on a Sunday and made it difficult to communicate with my partner sat opposite me.

We popped in for lunch on a Friday. Only one other person in their, so service was excellent. The food was good and came shortly after drinks. It is a large restaurant only negative is the taxidermy in the window!

We came here Saturday night for some vegan burgers and a couple of beers. Quite pricey, but the v burgers were delicious! Beers here are tasty too. Service was great, waitress was super helpful & friendly. Fries were pretty average, way too salty. Would be a nice if they offered fries with a couple varieties of seasoning rather than just over salted ones, (especially when you have to buy them separately in addition to the burger...bit cheeky innit). But a cajun, jerk or standard potato seasoning perhaps would be ace. The music here is great, however it was so loud you could just about have a conversation across the table! My only real major gripe with this place is the state of the loo's...crikey. I'd expect it if it was just a spit & sawdust bar, but if you're serving food here, the toilets should be clean. I've honestly been in cleaner public toilets. Hope they sort that out asap... *TLDR: Food good, beers nice, staff great, but loo's are rank.

I'll start with an big positive, the green sauce cheesy fries are absolutely amazing, really good. However, the burgers we had were very mediocre, incredibly soft, all the same texture, desperately needed some sort of crunch or even a toasted bun would help. The beer I had was nice and my partner enjoyed her cider, the staff were very chatty and the food arrived quick. The toilets were a bit grotty with loo roll and paper sheets all over the floor and the bin was overflowing. We will return to give lucky chip another go.

Popped in for an early dinner with our toddler today. All the staff were so lovely and accommodating. Sorted our toddlers food straight off the bat, all food and drinks were spot on! Highly recommend!

Had a Lovely Meal for Mothers Day. Best burger ever and the cheesecake was amazing. Staff are so friendly and we loved the whole atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back.

Our favourite burger place ever! Burgers are super juicy and just taste amazing! Also great beer selection and super tasty fries.

Really disappointed. Came at 6pm tonight. Supposed to open from 5pm on a Thursday but was closed. Website says it’s open, Google says it’s open, Tripadvisor says it’s open and even OpenTable is taking bookings yet not even a sign in the window to say why it’s closed. Won’t bother in future.

Had a really good Sunday Roast here. Only issues were it was much too cold inside (keep jacket on cold) and some of the beef was a bit too blue rather than nicely rare. Yorkshire, roasties and veg were excellent.

Food, drinks and service was honestly amazing! However, the music is very loud and the lights do keep flickering which will be a problem for a few people. If these two points were fixed it would be perfect!

We have been wanting to go to Lucky Chip for a roast for so long and we finally got around to it. It was fantastic, generous portions, flavoursome food and lovely service. We also have had the burgers in there plenty of times which are in my opinion the best in Folkestone - a great place to bring children also, they are very accommodating. Go try it out!

Staying with friends (October 2022) who took us here for a meal. It was amazing. Lovely atmosphere, great cocktails. Simple menu but didn't need to be bigger as it's quality not quantity! The burgers are the best we have had in the UK! So much so my husband still talks about the visit! The sides were also amazing. Great place and highly recommend! We look forward to returning

Staff were lovely! Food was brought out relatively swiftly. We had burgers, which were very tasty. Good selection of veggie options. The toilet layout was a bit peculiar and made it a bit awkward going in and out.

Me and my boyfriend stopped over in folkestone for one night before our holiday and we did a little bar crawl and decided to stop here for cocktails and food. The place was hand down the best place we went in folkestone!! the staff were so friendly and helpful! the service was really fast and the cocktails were absolutely incredible!!! The food was the star of the show for me! we each had a burger, then a portion of chips and a portion of wings to share. When I say it was the best burger iv ever eaten in my life I am not kidding!! The food was amazing!!! We live 3 hours away in Suffolk but have talked about going to folkstone for a weekend just to come back to this place for dinner!! 10/10 well done to all staff we had a fab time and can't wait to coke back 😀

Burgers was really nice along with the lemonade sour ale,but nearly £9 for 2 chicken thighs was abit steep they tasted good and the sauce with them was nice,but not worth the price at all,went on a Saturday afternoon and they didn't have no buffalo wings which was shocking as the hadn't long opened, but in a whole go for the burgers because they are good,no the best use had but really nice

I went there with some work colleagues had a nice time. The food is really good and we went there on Wednesday which meant we could take advantage of the £5 cocktails. The burger was one of the best I've had and I would like to try thier Sunday roast. It would be a 5 star review if only you could hear what others were saying as the music was quite loud.

Made a last min booking here trying to find somewhere on a Sunday night for a good burger. This place did not disappoint. As well as the awesome soundtrack the service was spot on, and the burgers were top notch....some nice craft beers on the menu. If you are looking for a decent burger this is the place in Folkestone..... We ordered a Kevin bacon and an el chappo both were very flavourful and cooked well

Dark and grimy dive bar feel with the best burgers I have ever eaten. Good beer and cocktails too. Not cheap but worth it for a treat. They do kids burgers cheaper which is a blessing.

Lovely vibes, nice cocktails, fun selection of drinks but the music is faaaaaaar too loud for a sit down bar, more club levels 😔 makes it difficult to just have a drink and chill with friends, have to all scream at each other. Great other than that, just turn the volume down a lil, cant take my friends there because they hate how loud it is!

Absolutely delicious burgers and fries! Great atmosphere, however I would say if you are coming here to eat solely the music is quite loud and the lighting is dim so it's quite hard to have conversations without shouting however if you like this vibe then you'll love it 😀 families welcome too.

The tastiest burgers and roasts in town (dessert game needs upping though 👎🏻) Lovely selection of cocktails & drinks and the staff are always so so so friendly. The only thing that lets the experience down for me is the loud music, I always leave with a headache from shouting over it. Earplugs are a must if you have sensory issues! Saying that though, it has a great atmosphere & it doesn't stop me from returning time and time again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If the music was turned down a notch! Thanks for being awesome 👌🏻

Best burgers and chicken in Folkestone. The vibe is also cool as well. Good tunes, moody lighting and nice beers. The cherry beer in particular is great.

Really wasn't my vibe, music was way too loud for a Sunday lunchtime. Roast was ok, nothing to rave about. Sticky toffee pudding was a sponge with a crunchy top - really disappointing. Great selection of draft beer though!

Good food, pleasant staff in good surroundings. The burgers are very good, the sides are exceptional and they have a decent beer list, it doesn't get much better.
