The best restaurants in Park Reading South East

Classic example of don't judge a book by its cover. Whilst the aesthetics of this place aren't the most appealing we had a great meal here. The food was genuinely delicious and the bar man was clearly very proud to serve us. We all enjoyed our food and drinks too. Not too pricey either.

We recently visited The Palmer Tavern when we were in the area for a business meeting, the food and service was great and there is a friendly atmosphere.

As I sit here eating my stone cold food I wonder why I bothered. 1st the order tracker is nonsense. It still says my food is cooking and I’m sat at home having eaten what I could. 2nd I collected my food. I’m glad I didn’t wait for the tracker as my food was stone cold when I got it home and I live 2 minutes away. 3rd I counted 6 staff members in there yet it took them almost 50 minutes to cook a burger. Really this just any chicken joint just like the 20 others on that street.

Best classic beef burger I have never eaten before

I have ordered 10 chicken strips .When they turned up it was more like 5 chopped into tiny pieces hardly any chicken in the bag. I ordered mild they were really spicy. Chicken was very dry as if it was cooked day before I'm very disappointed won't order again.

Me sirvieron comida fría y muy vieja y luego me dijeron que no podían reembolsarme ya que estaba en contra de la política. . . incluso después de reconocer que la comida estaba fría y añeja, el miembro del personal se negó a devolverme el dinero y me dijo que el gerente no lo permitiría. ¡Evite este lugar a toda costa!

Llamé como decía a internet para pedir el menú de alergias, la señora del teléfono fue tan grosera y dijo que no ¡no atiendo alergias! Así que cortésmente le pregunté perdón por no haber respondido que no. ¡No vuelvas a llamar!

Such a blessed to have found this takeaway shop during my stay around the neighbourhood. They provide a lot of dish options with generous portions and quality ingredients. Personally I do prefer their Grilled chicken with ginger and garlic in wine sauce where you can’t find it anywhere else👍🏻

I just ordered a falafel wrap on uber eats to our hotel, my husband had chips and a quarter chicken…. Every falafel in my wrap was black, completely burnt!!! I called the restaurant to inform them assuming they were unaware. I was met with awful customer service, the man on the phone was actually very rude. He told me they tasted the falafel and it tasted fine. I can assure you it didn’t taste fine, the wrap just tasted burnt! He basically said if I’m that bothered by it, I can come in the takeaway and get a new one, but they won’t get any drivers to deliver. It’s 12:20am, we ordered delivery for a reason. I’m not prepared to arrange transport to and from the takeaway to rectify their mistake! I asked if I can collect it tomorrow instead. He said no, tonight only (aka in the next 20 minutes). I asked if I could get a refund then, he said no and that I’m wasting my time! Erm… actually they wasted my time! £6 for inedible food? I said ok fine, make a new one for me to collect tonight… he then proceeded to hang up the phone on me!!!! Ordering from this place was a huge regret and this customer service has ruined my night!

I took Chinese noodles with chicken and my partner took Chinese noodles with shrimp, unfortunately the whole dish was dry, chicken, shrimp and vegetables were dried out.. tasteless!
