The best restaurants in Abbey Reading South East

We waited 2 hours and 45 minutes for out food. I honestly didn't think it was coming! We tried contacting the restaurant multiple times, to no avail.

Yuko was our server and made my birthday so very special. Best Wagamamas I have ever been to and will return.

Excellent food and excellent staff

I always forget that this pub in Reading exists, that is no criticism of it in any shape or form. It's simply dependent on which Hotel I am staying. The pub has a large open area, with bar at the rear. It also caters for food, I cannot comment on that as I have yet to sample the offerings. There is ample TV screens dotted around to enable sports broadcasts. Definitely worth a visit every time I come to Reading.

Came here for one night by myself whilst on a work course and the staff and regulars made me feel like I'd been coming here for ages, cannot recommend enough. Especially the karaoke nights

A nine year association with this once good pub is at an end. I have used £sterling over the nine years and a mix of English and Scottish bank notes without question. Tonight I handed over a Scottish £20 note, to have it returned with a stern warning, "although it states Sterling, we do not accept Scottish Bank Notes", is this racism, it felt like it, I was person non grata. I politely refused to hand over Sterling in an acceptable format. Thank you, Hope Tap for the humiliation. I will not be back!

Very quick service, and definitely tasty, I’ve had take out a couple of times, very filling , will be using them again and again

One of the best subways in terms of service. The staff are very polite and caring about orders. Also, nice ambiance inside Brunel arcade inside Reading station.

Classic Ibis. Boxed ticked, slept well enough. Feels a bit like a dystopian future in here though where we are all robots with no personality

The food was really great and the service was exceptional.

四川火鍋を近くで食べた後で冷やかしがてら訪問。日本の立ち食いの様に茹でたうどんが1食分ごとに置かれており嫌な予感がしたが、予想通り全く腰が無かった。かけ汁も讃岐風ではなく醤油色味が強かった。現地人はパスタも野菜も茹で過ぎが好みなので仕方が無いか。次回は日本式で提供出来るか確認して、出来ない場合は要らないといって去る様にします。唯一の救いは英国にしては安価でした。

Yet again got our order wrong on uber eats. Quality awful. Don’t understand how staff can’t read simple orders.

I love big tasty the original and the one with mushroom, try it and see that I am telling you the truth, the chicken strips are awesome, although I didn't find big tasty in London last time I visited, I hope they will go back to make it available
