Good place to watch footy but looks set up for a dance later on.

It could do with being cleaner.

Decent Sports Bar. Plenty of choice of beer.

Recently had two nights in her for my girls 18th, done the karaoke on the day of her birthday fantastic atmosphere everyone joined in with singing happy birthday and on the Saturday we started our night in a lovely little area that the staff had decorated with banners and balloons. Highly recommend

I was physically pushed out of the venue and had to endure a tirade of shouting, sweating and aggressive behaviour from door staff for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Witnessed by large group. Left the venue. Reading is a great place to go out, if you go to any where other than here! (There really was no reason, I’ve never experienced anything like it.)

Firstly they don’t do food. Sticky floor kinda venue. Manager is unprofessional. Employs people to do part time hours (clearly and constantly made clear) and when they can’t do 55 hours a week they are unreliable and get bad references for refusing to put up with it in some kind of odd attempt to ruin their careers. Please be wary of a venue with such petty and insensitive behaviours such as this. This shall also be reported to someone who matters. I think you’ll find that unprofessional behaviour is illegal.

Great staff with amazing staff! Good range of drinks with music on the weekends.

poor facilties for my lady friends they said it was awful I actually went in myself it was full of damp and walls were saturated no soap we will not be back

I think even 1 star is being generous there was damp and muld everywhere the women’s toilet was flooded no toilet roll in any toilet and in the men’s toilet was just sick and blood everywhere disgusting place but good music I would never eat here jue to all the damp and muld everywhere I would be sick

I have driven across the West of Texas, a place inhabited by millions of cows. The ammonia in the urine produced by said cows fills the air and makes your eyes water. However, it cannot hold a candle to the seemingly permanent stench emanating from the gents’ toilets in this pub. I can only assume the toilets have never been cleaned. Sometimes you can smell it from downstairs . Other than that it’s alright.

Adele gave fantastic customer service and I would recommend wild lime Reading to other people if they wanted a great night out in the town

Don't know how they can call this a sports bar , called in on a Saturday afternoon for the footie , music blaring out , couldn't hear yourself think let alone anything else, not even subtitles so at least you could read what was happening. Thankfully won't be back

Siamo stati ieri al wild lime. L'aspettativa era alta vedendo i video delle serate. Bello arrivarci dal centro città. Il locale tipico locale notturno con bancone con tante spine. Molte luci colorate un buon impianto audio. inaspettatamente una buona pizza come in Italia. Pecche? Non ne ho trovate. Tanta bella gente, tante ragazze inglesi anche da sole quindi mi fa pensare ad un locale dove si sta sicuri. Prezzo nella media in po' più alti che in Italia ma bassi rispetto a tanti altri locali inglesi. Il dj italiano credo di aver capito di Reggio Calabria.

I visited your bar last night 24th March, and i was absolutely appalled at the woman bouncer. I watched her drag out women in a disgusting and humiliating manner. I am an older woman in my 40s and was disgusted by her actions and behaviour. She also proceeded to drag my friend out without warning and with un-necessary force. She is obviously trying to prove a point being a woman bouncer and its off putting for me and my mates to ever come back to your club, it was not nice to see women treat other women like that. Watch your cctv and please do something about her. There was no need for her force and un professionalism, I did talk to another bouncer about her and he agreed and and shrugged his shoulders. Awful and very bad for business. I watched her push women and men out of her way in her anger after one incident of dragging a girl out by her hair! Shocking

Absolutely brilliant. Toni & Adele made us feel so welcome. My son is on crutches and felt very vulnerable. They looked after us from the time we entered. Attentive, great atmosphere and nothing is to much trouble. The way you run your business is second to none. We cannot recommend enough. We will certainly be back. THANK YOU, for a great afternoon and evening.

Good for sports, good choice of lagers

Tried passing off some random energy drink as Red Bull when ordering my vodka & Red Bull, when asked where the can was the barmaid basically lied saying she’d already poured the Red Bull in….When I questioned this she repeatedly insured me she’d poured in the Red Bull! After 2-3 minutes she then informed me it wasn’t Red Bull as they don’t even sell it! I simply asked ‘why lie’ but apparently I was in the wrong for questioning this and was then refused to be served. Manager on duty was inexperienced as clearly didn’t handle the situation very well! Not once was I rude or aggressive! 🙁 Poor from the staff and management! Wouldn’t bother with this place! Slug and lettuce next door much more lively! 😎

I can never understand why this place isn't busier. Its cheap in comparison to other bars and holds up (in my opinion) to the traditional cheap options nearby. TV screens everywhere for sport, no rowdy locals making you feel uncomfortable, inoffensive music and friendly staff. Could do with a lick of paint to be fair but otherwise, decent bar for a drink and casual night out.

Staff are friendly. But the place smelled bad. And one of the urinals was full up with urine.

Always a good night out at Wild Lime. Staff are always pleasant and no matter how busy they are, you get served in good time.

Decent bar in central Reading. Big bar but slow service. Average pricing but a good mix of drinks available etc. Toilets need to be a bit cleaner as they did smell and had flies. Appeared to be a leak from the upstairs toilets into the bar/dancefloor area.

Best customer service and great food

This place is a complete toilet, you only have to see the state of the mens up stairs. I was given a dirty glass it was absolutely filthy, when I asked politely to exchange it for a clean one, I was told like I was something they just stepped in that I could go and drink somewhere else. Rude staff and its a complete health hazard...and they do pizza!! Really???!!!!

It was quite busy because of the world cup. We didn't have to wait long to be served and the beer was as good as ever

Visited last night (Mon 17/10) Very disappointed, Smelt really bad in there like the floors were mopped with urine, The service was not up to much, & I couldn't drink my drink as it had a very weird smell to it & I was instantly put off. Didn't ask for it to be changed we just decided to leave. Shame, as the times we visited before it was better.

Came here after a weekend from London. Wanted to watch the football and it’s a ball with lots of screens very spacious and clean enough. Probably better pubs around but good enough if you just want to watch a game

Drinks are a rip off and door staff are over zealous bullies. Also the management are very discriminatory.

Great atmosphere and a lot of fun. On the down side however some misbehaved people could’ve been shown the door. Could be cleaner & service could improve.

Sticky floor place, Friday seems to be much quieter after midnight.

Good spot for a night out in Reading, decent drinks and music. Can be too rammed sometimes, in the summer the aircon does little to deal with the heat. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting after an hour of it being open, they need to keep on top of cleaning, restocking toilet paper etc- and fix the broken locks.

Music to dance to, very good atmosphere, just be patient because it is very crowded.

Had the best bottomless brunch at wild lime the food and drinks were lovely and Adela and Toni made such an effort for my friends birthday they eve. Put balloons and a banner! Deffo recommend for a bottle less brunch. X

Great Karaoke on Tuesday nights

Wild Lime is absolutely brilliant. Had the best night out there for a very very long time. Security are on their game and professional. The bar staff are very friendly and professional - really impressed me. The drinks, the music, the dancing, the atmosphere... Brilliant. Recommended. Don't forget to take your ID! I'm 50 years old, first time I've been asked for ID in years, felt like a compliment then I realised these are the rules thanks to Covid. Still felt like a 21 year old though once I got in. Top venue. .

Very friendly staff, good cocktails and cheap beer!

All I can say is *****, nightclub as usual, just little bit stupid security, Friday night they accept Id pictures, next day don't accept, why? Answer - because! I don't have another explanation! So I been in another nightclub, no problem, accept Id pictures, bye bye wild lime, your time is gone!

Food was good, the main wasn’t what I was expecting though. Ordered a vegetarian wellington but it wasn’t in the shape I was expecting. Was good otherwise

I went on Saturday the lady who served me was very nice and she watched my drinks while I went back to my table to get my friends card to pay. She had long blonde hair glasses, petite.

On a good night it's great on a bad night its baaad shame they increased the £10 bottle of prosecco to £12.50 but still cheaper than most places

Myself and my partner attempted to visit this establishment after being invited to a friends birthday, despite only having 2 drinks with on a full meal my partner was refused entry based on apparently being drunk….total nonsense and I think more a case that we are in our forties and maybe didn’t fit their idea of clientele…will never go back again an advise all above 40 to not bother!!

Average place, drinks were okay but the other half said she felt dodgy after one of the cocktails (could be anything not the cocktail in question) but in general it just felt gloomy. The tables were sticky and not very clean, it has potential to be very nice but maybe it gets better with more atmosphere 🤔

Used to be good but recently poor. Screens not up to scratch and playing nightclub music instead of the sound to the sporting events. Avoid!!!!

My friends and I went into the Wild Lime for a few beers and to watch some football. It was very comfortable with loads of screens and a Great selection of drink. I don't usually do reviews, but we were so well looked after by Adela and Ely, I had to say something! I Would highly recommend The Wild Lime and from what I've heard Friday and Saturday nights are definitely worth a visit! Thank you Ely and Adela.
