The best restaurants in Hilsea Portsmouth South East

Ordered through Uber, arrived in good time but what a disappointment. After I chewed my way through some of the chips I moved on to the haddock, which was only slightly less chewy and lacked any taste. The topping for my chips, a very watery curry sauce. I don't know if this was all because it was a delivery and had been sat a while, however I am not willing to take the chance and will be moving on to an alternative chippy.

Ordered home delivery and looked forward to trying the food after reading reviews but disappointed chicken balls dead just taste like starch chowmein and salt and pepper chicken tasted like they had been cooked in a burnt pan, not very nice at all only saving grace was egg fried rice and chicken and sweetcorn soup were good

Very awful food , I ordered fish & chips & onion ring only thing that was edible was the chips ! Fish & onion ring batter uncooked & soggy . I don’t advise wasting your money here !

Brilliant service excellent staff

Ordered food which kept being pushed back on timescale. Waited over an hour with a pointless phone number they never answer. Rings and goes to BT answer phone. Absolutely useless as we enjoyed using this Fish & Chips. Never again Cannot comment on atmosphere. Waste of time.

Really kind and comprehensive staff. Would really recommend this kebab. Even gave me a free bottle of water when i was in need!

There were 15 of us for breakfast and plenty of space for us all to sit together at the back! Food came out quick and was very nice all round! Free refills on hot drinks which was excellent! All plates went back to the kitchen empty!

They are not is good behavior. Need to be good manners.

THERE IS NO SUBWAY HERE. IT CLOSED 2-3 YEARS AGO. It’s now a Bossmans Kitchen.

I drive past this place all the time, popped in for the first time to order a toasted breakfast sandwich and a coffee. Coffee was from a proper machine made fresh in front of me and the toastie was just what the doctor ordered. "Very happy bunny"

I use this bakery at least twice a week I have always entertained it. I always take friends staff & family here. Staff are not as friendly as I would hoped but can live with that it hit and Miss good one days & horribly the next if you get my drift Today I went in and my roll I order was hard and horrible tasting very disappointed I would like to say it was a great be of however the last visit was exactly the same. Hence my review. I use to enjoy food here but don’t think I’ll entertain it anymore. My average spend is £15/£25 each visit. Shame. All good things come to a end I suppose.

BUSINESS HAS GONE. Closed. It is no more. Attempts to remove it from Google Maps are declined despite street view evidence. Ceased trading some time ago, and Rancho Express, incorporating Spice Club has opened on the site after extensive redevelopment.
