He Wei in Portsmouth

The only Chinese I will order from in Portsmouth. I lived local to them for years, then moved to southsea, tried a few different places that didn't hit the spot and now just drive to hilsea to pick up my food. Or have a delivery.

Ordered home delivery and looked forward to trying the food after reading reviews but disappointed chicken balls dead just taste like starch chowmein and salt and pepper chicken tasted like they had been cooked in a burnt pan, not very nice at all only saving grace was egg fried rice and chicken and sweetcorn soup were good

Foods always good, arrives hot and always on time, considering it's a family business and only one delivery driver, top marks, definitely recommend them 👍

Always spot on from the customer service to the main thing which is the food. When phoning up for a delivery, always ask for the rough wait time for food to be delivered so you don't expect an instant delivery time. Polite staff and portion sizes are plentiful. Worth every penny.

We had a 2 course meal from this establishment and it was a pleasure to eat it. Great food with good sized portions, all arrived hot and tasty. Both of us throughly enjoyed the food and would happily recommend to all.

This place displayed a 4 star green Portsmouth Council sticker... Online on the Portsmouth council website it showed a 1 as score ... Sticker no longer in window ..this is a liar and a zero

Always order from here and food is always tasty with good portion sizes. Hard to find a nice Chinese and this ones deffo the best in Portsmouth!

Have been a customer for a number of weeks now! (Really Good Service Normally) Ordered from this 2 weeks ago was made to wait 2 hours for delivery! 😡 Ordered again tonight and the same thing happened! 😤 Very Disappointed With The Service In The Last 2 Weeks! Won’t Be Ordering From Them Again! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! ☹️

Not great. The Pork balls were all batter with about a thimbleful of meat inside. The chicken wings were soaked in fat. The fried rice was ok but didn't compensate the rest of the meal.

We had a 2 course meal from this Chinese takeaway and it was very good. The food was of a good portion size and well cooked. It did cool down quite quickly but we enjoyed it a lot. Piece to note the delivery driver hands over the food not good as no gloves. Would go back happily

Es la única comida china que usaré en Pompeyo.

Top choice for Chinese take away in the area. Try the 'House Special' dishes.

Used many times before. The older lady is so rude to customers in shop and phone. But until last visit food good. However I will not buy there again. The chow mein was swimming in grease/oil it wasn't a full meal as only 3/4 full in container. The prawn crackers were soft and inedible. Felt sick rest of evening.
