Food was absolutely exceptional the chicken madress perfect sagaloo bombay potatoes rice onion bargis all perfect

Food was lovely once it finally arrived, but I will say everything was very very oily, bag had a puddle of oil at the bottom, other then that very nice

Think we had yesterday's warmed up food bhajis were awful rock hard chicken tikka main again chicken hard and not nice could not eat it chip's were great though ordered egg fried rice got something totally different. This is unusual for city normally great food but I think I will look for new take away

Mixed meat curry meat hard and unable to eat chicken ok it was a shame because it did taste nice until I couldn’t eat the meat

Great food. Had to pop it in the microwave to warm it. An ordered item wasn’t included but resolved quickly.

Bland and old food, naan had a bad odour obviously flour old. Nothing fresh Waste of money all in the bin.

Never tasted such a plain Indian in my life. The korma didn’t even taste like korma it tasted like it was watered down. As soon as you’d put a spoon of rice in your mouth it would feel like your mouth is full of nothing but rice juice. The chips were soggy. Egg fried rice was basic rice with chunks of fried omelette egg in. The chicken was tough and bouncy! The popadoms weren’t even crunchy they were like soggy paper. The nan bread was tangy. The only think I enjoyed was my can of Coke.

Wasn’t like your average Indian korma was flavourless he egg fried rice was a rice I’d never experienced before popadoms tasted like paint! Wasn’t what I was expecting or hoping for at all sadly

Missed items from our order and food was lukewarm, not hot. Bit disappointed as we normally order from City Indian because of the great value.

Really disappointed with the food tonight the onion bhaji were rock hard and tasteless the currys(chicken bhuna and dhansak) were just swimming in oil a waste of money will put me off going here again unfortunately!

lamb meat in curry tasted of perfume couldn't eat it. their was also raisins in the tikka masala which was confusing. onion bhaji was half overcooked and middle soggy and tasteless. nann looked shop bought. was put off by meat couldn't enjoy the rest of my meal. thought we'd give a new place a try, won't be returning

Chicken tikka curry was not nice, chicken was chowie and no taste of tikka. The nana bread base was burnt. Will not reorder from this curry restaurant. Would not recommend it.

We had veggie korma, chicken korma, mushroom rice, chips and pesh nann. The korma wasn’t the best sauce we’ve had and the chicken one was slightly lacking on chicken. The chips were ok, but soggy. The veggie korma did have plenty of veggies in though. The nann was doughy and didn’t have much in the way of flavour. Over all it was ok. Probably won’t order again though.

So disappointing. The popadoms were soggy and stuck to the paper bag. The onion bhajis were mushy in the middle and tasted disgusting. The rice was about the only thing edible. Will not be ordering from here again

Ok so it was Friday night so it was 30 mins late which is understandable BUT the rest of it was so bad. The Curry was watery, chicken was dry & veg undercooked. The bhajis were literally rock solid, the naan doughy. Didn’t get the tikka which may have been a blessing in disguise tbh. Poppadoms were ite but just so poor. Probably gonna get the runs

Food was 45 minutes earlier then expected, and the tracking service is way off. The delivery driver was polite but food was tasteless, chicken was way over cooked and the curry didn't look or taste appetizing at all. I won't be ordering from here again most of the food went in the bin.

Worse curry ive ever had. No sauce, just grease and meat. The whole order went in the bin. NEVER AGAIN.!!!!!!!!!

We will never order from here again, the food was bland, greasy and pretty unpleasant. The jalfrezi had a weird taste and the onion bhajis tasted of basically nothing. The chicken chatt and lamb starter were swimming in grease. So disappointed.

Contacted me as they had to amend my order slightly. Really friendly and so fast despite saying they were busy.

After having a craving for curry since this morning due to my pregnancy, I managed to convince my partner to have one. Was looking through the different restaurants and saw this had an offer on, was a little unsure due to the hygiene rating, but read the reviews and saw it was under new management. After one mouthful, my partner and I looked at each other and said it’s the best curry we’ve had in a long time. The food was so delicious. Only thing was that we ordered poppadoms, and they didn’t arrive. Doesn’t bother me though as with the curry plus being pregnant, I don’t think I could’ve managed them anyway. Highly recommend this place. Don’t be put off by the hygiene rating, was so worth it. Good Luck with the business and no doubt we will be ordering from you guys again. Thank you.

Got a curry last night I must say it was nice but the takeaway menu said free curry. They would not give it to us I’m going to report them

I came across this restaurant due to a 25% discount. When I saw a hygiene rating of 1 I nearly moved on. But having read several recent reviews mentioning a change of management and a positive response to the quality of the food I decided to order. Glad I did! Food arrived 30 minutes early and the driver was polite. Food was hot. The mixed kebab starter was excellent with plenty of meat. The lamb passanda again had plenty of large pieces of meat and was very tasty. Overall an excellent experience. Will order again.

l was really looking forward to my meal, however l was very very disappointed when no veg curry turned up to go with my Biriani. the meal itself was very nice but spoiled by the lack of curry sauce.

First time ordering since under new management and was more than impressed the food came quick and hot and looked amazing more importantly it taste great the man on the phone was more then happy to help with making my food just the way i wanted and could not do enough for me to make sure the food was made the way i like as i am just a little bit fussy but he went above and beyond for me and also i cant not mention they home made lime pickle which is far nicer than the standard 1 you get from most restaurants and take aways will 100 % order again and recommend also great portion sizes couldn't finish it all so just had some for breakfast and it still tasted great

Again a good meal from Indian city. The only down sides were they didn’t deliver the onion bahjis I ordered and the madras was a bit watery. Overall though good quality and great value

No rice with curry,no mint sauce with onion bhaji and bread was burnt.phoned them and they said mint sauce and rice no longer came with ,not what it said on line otherwise I would have ordered them seperatly.thay did apologise.

Food on time however. The chips was horrible. The Onion Bhaji was burnt! But the curry and omelette and banana fritter was lovely. Such a shame. Last time was brilliant :(

Food was edible... barely... curry full of water not very nice, phones restaurant 10 mins after it was past it’s expected delivery time to then be told by the employee on the phone that it is not his problem my food hadn’t arrived and he didn’t care which I find appalling customer service. Not happy at all. Would not recommend to anyone.

Take away has gone downhill. Tarka Dahl was absolutely rank, not much meat in biryani, not many mushrooms in mushroom curry. Used to be regular customers, but not anymore

Wasn’t a good experience, first they forgot my rice and took an extra 20 mins to deliver ! By then my curry was cold so ruined the whole meal, the cut up veg for the poppadoms was all gone off and soggy, wasn’t until after eating I realised they only have a 1 hygiene rating ! Not good and would have preferred a refund

Restaurant was lovely as we phoned to ask a few questions, the food just wasn’t up to snuff unfortunately. Nothing to write home about at all.
