Lovely meaty fish with gorgeous thin crisp batter.Lovely chips too if a little small in portions. But saying that perfectly satisfied once consumed. All beautifully served in a box and bag all for top price when only chippie tea will do.

Friendly hosts and staff. Food was well prepared and presented, and without delay. A clean environment inside, a nice large garden area outside. A pleasant experience.

New to the area so thought I'd give them a go, safe to say I will never be back! All the food was cold and they messed my order up. So I rang up and got left on the phone so I went back to get a refund as I was not happy with anything and was met with a rude, angry and argumentative man that wouldn't give me my refund and then lied and tried to be intimidating. In future I will be going to one of the other two across the road. All I wanted was a refund or apology as mistakes do happen but I was very shocked at the manner of the man in the shop and will not be returning.

Real pub. Hidden down by Ashlet creek, you wouldn't happen on it by accident. Good food, good beer, friendly and warm. Dog was welcomed too.

Great cafe - good value, large portions. Stunning view. Helpful staff. Only negative from our visit is that they don’t take cash - which is exclusionary.

Woman at till was mean and made my daughter cry. Passive aggression was through the roof. And the roof was very high in this place (it had a climbing wall).

Nothing changed. Staff still not welcoming or friendly even when loyalty card shows we are regulars. Guessing something in pipeline to close due to low numbers??? Not sure why things changed so much since Pre Covid shut down. Staff used to be so nice and make you feel valid. The lady in charge took great pride in knowing her customers. Cooked breakfast always popular for water sport people too. I See question about are there any toilets. Yes there are toilets but only accessible through the hanger. You used to be allowed through door from cafe by their till. Now sent long way round. As others say it is unique and a place with huge potential. Only simple things like the staff’s sullen manner needs to change????? Shame and not sure why??? HCC let it out to caterers I guess???? Neither interested in upping game from reviews? Oh still a fight to get proper cup. They prefer paper ones.

Absolutely wonderful food. I've been here countless times and I've never been dissapointed. Lived in Thailand for 2 years and I've always struggled to find a good pad Thai since. Then I found here and it's honestly fantastic. Hard workers creating great food. Thank you team ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
