Friendly hosts and staff. Food was well prepared and presented, and without delay. A clean environment inside, a nice large garden area outside. A pleasant experience.

We had to wait over an hour and a half for a burger and chips, yes they were busy but they were cooking one order at a time before starting the next which is really not acceptable in a commercial kitchen. They must sort their way or working out. Such a shame as lovely garden and they could make a killing from local trade, the nearby campsites and visitors passing to go to the beach. Food was OK but nothing special. I won't be eating there again.

After being on the beach looked up local pubs suitable for children. The langly looked good nice garden. Went in side to order food. We're told food stopped at 6.45 it was 6.40 . Two meals came out within a few minutes and they were luke warm My husbands followed we returned the first two another meal appeared childrens came last asked for cutlery and was told it was on side which was empty. Sour faced waitress said the manager would come to see us which they didn't. The menu was . limited as on line had fish and chips ,mac cheese etc.when food came out I must say it wasn't bad but won't rush back, 6 .

I’ve visited the langley tavern a few times in the summer due to family living in the area. Every time we’ve come down, it gets better every time. Due to Covid, they have put in place hand sanitizer stations which has made me and my partner feel safe. The staff are always pleasant and very welcoming. We've ordered food a few times and on their busiest days there can be a wait but it’s always quicker than we have expected. The food has always been lovely and enjoyable. The pub has a lovely atmosphere, it’s great for families! Alway love coming to the langley and will be visiting more in the future.

Having stopped by after the beach we were pleasantly surprised by the food. Generous portion sizes and a menu that kept all the family happy from young to old!!! My favourite had to be the toasties, served with chips and salad, I couldn’t eat it all!! My children loved the burgers and happily played on the play area. The garden is well maintained and the staff very polite and friendly.

Came to the Langley with a group of my friends after a day down the beach. We ordered food and it was lovely, definitely recommend. The portion size is very generous and the ploughman’s looked amazing!! The staff were very nice and polite. The waiting staff checked on us during our meal and asked if we needed anything else and if everything was okay with our meal. I highly recommend the Langley tavern, it’s a lovely family friendly pub. Thank you for the great visit, will definitely be coming back!!

We were the only ones eating, and now i know why. The food tasted like its from the freezer food chain, Iceland. Very basic and no flavours. For a pub these days to serve this , it’s pretty dire. We waited 25 mins for any food to come to the table and then it took 15 mins before friends got theirs, by which time we’d finished while they were starting. No apologies given for this. Would not recommend to anyone.

Visited last summer and was impressed with both the food and the service. The service is still good, just dissapointed with the food. Arrived late on a Saturday afternoon to be informed there was no ice for any drinks. Surprised no one thought to pop down to the local supermarket. We had loaded nachos to share as a starter, which was a disappointment for just under £10. Plenty of nachos but poor quality toppings. My partner ordered jacket potato with cheese and baked beans, which she had to send back as the beans were stone cold. We plan to return for a drink when we are next camping in the area, as the staff are very friendly, and it is a nice pub but we wont be ordering any cooked food.

We used to come to the Langley a lot, nice big garden decent play area friendly staff and the food although it’s a limited menu is pretty good. This is the first time going back since lockdown and once again all good and as we expected. A great idea is you can now order at your table and the drinks are brought to you and quite quickly which is great. BUT what isn’t great is the instant inclusion of a 10% surcharge on your order Especially seeing as i asked if I could go to the bar and pay I was told no it must be ordered from the table,I get we are trying to be covid safe but at times when businesses are doing their best to get customers back why should I be forced to pay a 10% surcharge to have a round of drinks bought to my table ! This really does not encourage me to sit here with my family knowing every time I Order we will pay a further ten percent especially when I’m not allowed to go to the bar,but I’m told if I sit inside I can order at the bar It’s ridiculous there are plenty more pubs locally I can go to and NOT be expected to be hit with this stealth tax I won’t and my family won’t be back u till it’s gone or I can buy at the bar

What a full plate of lovely picked and cheese and a little pork pie too! Enough to share between two for a modest lunch but since I had my little dog with me I already was sharing 😉 Lovely pickles, my only suggestion however as there were gherkins and pickled onions too, would be to have coleslaw maybe instead of one of the pots. But not a criticism as I live all things pickled. Wonderful massive garden, ample parking, and the ladies serving were lovely too. Very enjoyable Sunday lunch. I'd highly rate their ploughman's as there is a brilliant variety to it. Next time we'll aim a little later to catch the live music on a Sunday.

Having posted an honest review, and having had a ‘response’ from manager I’m even more disappointed. Please check you cctv again and note we were right next to the empty table you reportedly delivered the food to and nobody delivered anything. Also, perhaps ask whether one of your staff members remembers dropping a tray of drinks with food? Could that of perhaps been our food and she forgot to tell the kitchen to do the order again? Look forward to your response.

Decided to stop for lunch as they have a lovely garden area and we had the dog. Ordered two sandwiches and waited ~45mins but no show. I went to ask where our food was and was told that it had been sent out already, implying we’d had it. I know mistakes happen and if the staff had apologised and said there had clearly have been a mix up I would have accepted that. But to be told I’d already had my food - therefore implicating me as being either a liar or suffering from very severe memory loss. The bar member was polite. But clearly needs to consider how to manage complaints. There was no issue getting a refund for my food. Although no good will in offering a refund for the two rounds of drinks we’d had whilst waiting though.

We stopped here as it was close to where we were staying. First off they only serve sandwiches and chips!?! These were served in a paper box and when I asked for cutlery I was told they couldn't give me any because they'd been told not to due to Covid!?!? Are you a pub/restaurant serving food or not!? Restaurants are open serving on plates with cutlery incase you hadn't noticed. Second of all- play area was closed!? Even parks are open? All a bit over the top, either open or don't. Food was nothing special. Didn't return because of the craziness.

I visited the Langley Tavern recently & was so impressed by how everything is so well organised. The food is excellent with such a great choice, from salads to chunky sandwiches & torpedo rolls with tasty fillings. A lovely garden to sit & relax in with plenty of space for children to run around in, the children’s play area is temporary closed for safety reasons due to covid. Safety is of paramount importance with plenty of hand sanitizer & a one way system for ordering drinks & food which will be brought to your table by the happy & cheerful staff. i really cannot praise this delightful pub enough & is definitely worth a 5 star rating. Well done to all.

Visited the Langley Tavern last week with my partner and can only rate 5 stars! Had a sandwich and wow what a sandwich! Fortunately it came in a box so I was able to take the 2nd half home as it was huge! There was a great choice of fillings which was nice and good to see some vegan options available too. Some people might think that only doing sandwiches is dull but not with the amount of choice and for the healthier option the salad boxes I saw coming out looked amazing! The staff are doing a brilliant job in such tough conditions. Everything is so clean with lots of sanitisation stations to hand and they do this always with a smile on their faces! All socially distanced restrictions in place so felt so safe so 100% hats off to the crew at the Langley Tavern, we will definitely be back and not just for the sandwiches!

My partner and I were meeting up with her daughter, son-in-law and three grandchildren for the first time since Covid-19 lockdown. I'd phoned abot 10 days before to book the big table under the gazebo - no query was raised. But when we arrived there was nothing under the gazebo - no tables, no chairs, just an empty space. However, on querying this the staff sprang into action and provided two tables, six chairs and a highchair. The tables and the highchair were sanitised. The staff wore a smile on their faces and nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed our lunchtime. The menu for outside was limited but it was all good and served in individual closable cartons, which also acted as "doggie boxes" for us to take surplus food home. The Langley was taking part in the August "Eat Out to Help Out" cheme so our bill was less than we expected - a welcome bonus. So, despite the mix-up, well done to all at the Langley Tavern for sorting out the problem so quickly.

On holiday in the area and looking forward to a pint and perhaps meal in this well recommended establishment. Unfortunately I stood in the lounge bar for over 10 minutes and no one bothered to come and serve, perhaps the loud music next door was a distraction. I tried leaning over the bar to attract staff attention but to no avail nor did coughing or closing the door loudly. So I am afraid after 10 mins we decided to give up and left. Perhaps staff could occasionally look through to the other bar in future. We may try again and hopefully can be more positive and complimentary

This is a great pub, a little pricy but a good choice of beers, larger, cider and shorts. if management read this I would recommend offering some craft beer. Maybe the local brew by vibrant brewery. A decent selection of bar snack for humans and for dogs. It’s definitely a chicken in a basket kind of place. If you order food. Just expect greasy spoon style dining. Loads of parking. I’m 80% sure there is wheelchair access but I think you may have to phone ahead to find out. If it’s a sunny day the garden is accessible and is massive! Dogs allowed and a decent play area for the kids. Back in the day they had trampolines and swing boats and it was heaving. Also in days gone by the food was fantastic. But as we said goodbye to panda pop so we did to trampolines and decent pub grub at the Langley. Bar staff are a delight!! Very friendly and very helpful! THe childs meal seemed O.K, the Scampi portion was a bit mean and the fries were rather pale. The Fish and Chips were however inedible! The fish was over baked, and I don't know what sort of fish was in the batter, but it was revolting. If don't think I've ever been so confused about a pub in my life...On the outside, it looks incredible. Glorious looking PUB. We saw it on the way to Lepe County Park and just had to stop there on the way back for lunch. We went straight into the garden as we had a dog with us. Amazing looking garden and HUGE. Nice potted flowers and a kid play ground. I then went in to order some food and the inside just didn't look like a pub. I can't describe it. In the end I thought "well that bits obviously an extension so it looks more modern than it should".They had some decent beer on tap (ales), stuff I've never seen before. Which is a huge thumbs up for me! They also had a selection of gin (good for them!), including a local gin although no one really knew it was a local gin! The menu for the garden was tiny, some sandwiches, a burger, 2 salads and 2 platters. Not even fish and chips! However, the food was great. But again, didn't feel like pub food. All very modern, including mozzarella on the burger. But I love the modern beer and food vibe so again a tick from me but nothing as traditional as the front of the building would lead you to believe. On the way out I had a look in the front bar and all I can say is "what the..." it looked like a 15 year olds youth club with a bar in it! I was shocked. To summarise:Great locationGreat looking buildingGreat gardenGreat foodGreat drinks rangePoor options on menuVery poor interior, doesn't suit the pub

Shame about the low quality ingredients on the menu. Fried stuff we tried were the chips, sweet potato fries and calamari. All from frozen and calamari rings were pretty chewy and tasteless. Ham toasty was barely passable as a lunch for toddler, cheap ham. Really hope they hire a chef and upgrade their burger buns, cakes, sides and get some nonbrown food on the menu.

Had the cheese burger with cheesy sweet potato fries, lovely food! They have a new menu, the onion rings are lovely also! Highly recommended!

Called in for drinks. Reasonably priced and the coffee was good.Has a large seating/play/lawned area outside but too cold on the day we visited to sit there.

We've eaten here as a family before when they had the Thai restaurant which was lovely. Today we had food from their new Lounge Garden menu and it was lovely. The 3 of us all had the burger, 2 with sweet potato fries 1 with skinny fries and it was excellent. The food was presented lovely and very tasty. I personally loved the individual tiny little salt shakers (so cute).Staff are always friendly and polite and nothing seems to be too much trouble.

Nice big garden area with a decent play apparatus for children, prices of drinks were reasonable,Thai food mainly served here with the exception of a few basket meals,Sunday roasts massively overpriced at over £11 each and every week they offer chicken at a cheaper price but mysteriously it's always sold out

We were staying in a nearby campsite and walked here to get some food. What we found was a very good Thai Restaurant at this Pub. The food was nice and varied, with great flavours. Portion size was good (not too big or small, just right). Service was also good too.

Stopped in after a morning at Lepe country park due to them having a large garden and a kids play area for my boy to play in, hadn't realised they done Thai which is one of my favourite things to eat....all I can say is it was probably the best Thai food I've ever eaten. Will definitely be taking a trip back there soon.

Stopped for lunch and had Thai food. The Jungle Curry is very hot, as it says on the menu, but tasty behind the heat. Food was not dissimilar to that we had in Thailand, so authentic. Service was very friendly andhelpful, and the lounge bar was nice and cool on a hot sunny day. Tables are available outside and on the patio, and there is also a conservatory. Our one major disappointment was that when we ordered filtered coffee we were told they only did instant, something I have not recently come across in a reasonable restaurant.Prices were very reasonable and the ambience was pleasant.

Exceptional food and exceptional service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others. We regularly holiday in the area but this is the first time we have tried this restaurant. We will most certainly be back! Thank you.

Yummy Thai food, always had a good meal here. Would recommend their penang. Slightly annoying but they’re never able to do banana fritters when I’ve been there, they always say they can’t. Otherwise it’s nice enough inside and decent food

Fantastic food! We had a friendly welcome and there was a great menu choice. We chose chicken crackling and satay, a beef penang, pad thai and jasmine rice. It was some of the best thai food we have experienced. Meat was tender and the aromatic and spicy flavours really complimented each other. The decor was a little tired but I would thoroughly recommend a visit as we had great food which was reasonably priced.
