Nice place to have a glass of beer, or so. I liked it more during daylight time. In the evenings crowded enough with local people having fun, playing pool. Good.

Really had a great experience there... Very friendly staff and good landmark in Fawley for all seafarers. You can play snooker and other indoor games, which is really a great attraction to this place.. Just 5 minutes walking from Jetty 2 main gate.

Glad to see this Pub open again. A few years back it had closed down. So my first visit for a couple of years. Friendly place, busy on a Sunday afternoon. "I'll be back".....

Dropped in for a beer. Pleasantly surprised to be greeted by the owner who is brilliant. Kitchen was closed for all the logical reasons of these times. However, they have an agreement with the takeaway opposite so you can enjoy a takeaway inside the pub. Pool table, darts, live sports, staff whoe smile, great spot for an easy evening.

Clean and tidy room. Good value for money and you dont hear any noise from the pub below. Kettle and fridge in room. Great nights sleep.

Lovely pub and very well upkept, food amazing only downside youngest clearly not 18 drinking in the pub,that became off putting to some people in pub that left in a hurry. people not smoking outside but inside by the door, smoke was just blowing straight into pub, others just vaping in pub without a care to others, so I guess the pub allows vaping? I Was approached to review this public house by consided local residents of Fawley after few complaints of anti social behaviour and drug activities, coming from the public house. Also other public houses in Fawley will be visited and reviewed some multiple times day/evening so that a true and honest opinion can be submitted.

Was staying in the area and read the reviews so popped in to give it a go.... The place has 2 bars... 1 is the public which all the locals drink in... The locals along with the bar staff were very friendly and chatty and made me feel welcome straight away... The other bar is where you eat or if you want a quieter drink and food is excellent.. If in the area again then I'll definitely pop in. They had one real ale on, Ringwood Brewery Razorback

What an amazing find! Various friends had said that this was a great place to eat out, and they were not wrong. A family-run establishment, Colin and Jade have turned this from a pub with a dodgy reputation into a stylish but relaxed eatery and bar, suitable for couples, families and friends. At the front of house Jordan is welcoming and appropriately attentive. The food is a blend of pub classics and some more ‘up market’ dishes, with everything beautifully cooked and most (all?) dishes homemade. We went at lunchtime and opted for some simple dishes: homemade steak and ale pie, chicken burger, fish and chips etc. and each was faultless… as were the puds! I can see us eating here again after a forest walk or for a Sunday lunch or an evening out…

Meals at the Falcon are first class, I have been several times and never been disappointed with the menu choices and quality of the locally sourced food. Looking forward to sampling the winter menu choices. Staff are always welcoming and very helpful.

Outstanding food and service. Fillet steak to die for and the duck was beautiful with the most amazing sauce and flavour combination. Even the side salad was delicious and fresh. So impressed with the food that we returned the next evening to try a piri piri burger, so nice and even the fries were special. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely book again when next in the area.

I'm so pleased to have visited The Falcon. I live within walking distance but have never visited before. This week a friend visited. We walked and then went in for a bite to eat. The menu is so varied that I was amazed. Scampi to lobster, burgers to chicken dishes so, so varied and vegan too. Something for everyone. Both of us had chips with our meals, but these were different types too. Not one type fits all. It was lovely to have real cutlery and fabric serviettes. The staff were great, we were checked on 3 times whilst eating. The kitchen is open Thursday to Monday, so please plan your visit should you wish to eat. This local pub is a forest gem. Please do not miss it.

We have a high regard for this restaurant, and was initially introduced to us by friends who are very well acquainted with quality restaurants, but a recent visit was disappointing, the service was a little unprofessional and one of the courses was not up to the usual standard, we did make our disappointment known to the chef as there' is no merit in suffering in silence. We will use the Falcon again, one poor experience should not influence future patronage of what has, up to now been excellent.

I would highly recommend this place, don’t be fooled by the cover!! The food was exceptional as was the service, not what we were expecting but must say our anniversary meal out was better than the majority of the major restaurants in Southampton!! We will be back many times no doubt 😉 Overall can’t rate this place high enough

Went into the Falcon today after hearing raving reviews about the food, and can honestly say we weren't disappointed, we hadn't booked and although extremely busy they managed to squeeze us in, ordered 2 roast dinners which tasted sublime, the atmosphere was lovely, the landlord and landlady were friendly and inviting and will definitely be going again ( but making sure we book a table next time so that we aren't disappointed). Definitely highly recommended

Me and my friend decided to go for a roast dinner last minute, having not booked we couldn’t get a table straight away but they staff where lovely and could squeeze us in within the hour. We had a drink in the bar while we waited for a table. Totally worth the wait!!! Food was fantastic and the landlady was so welcoming and friendly! Would definitely recommend this place!

Lovely pub very friendly and welcoming

CANNOT RECOMEND ENOUGH! Myself and my family visited recently. On arriving we were expecting a different venue but once inside it has a lovely cosy feel that a pub should have. The staff are friendly and very attentive. The food was delightful and delicious. The menus cater for everyone and all dietary requirements. I had the barrata and tomato to start. Vegan pie for my main and the Panna cotta for dessert. When we are back in the area - we will be going back! FANTASTIC!

Amazing food! Jade was absolutely lovely, as was the other gent, they were friendly and happy to chat to each and every customer. The food was delicious, it was consistent in the quality and it was apparent all the other tables were happy as well, I personally had the peri per chickeni burger followed by the Pannacotta and cherry blossom cocktail which was strong and sweet (perfect). The only bad thing is they're too good! It seems they're so popular they can't keep up l!

We decided to walk from Calshot to Ashlett Creek and knew there was a pub there on arrival the pub was shut for a private event so walk further along to Fawley where we found the Falcon Inn this was a great find its was on a Monday and on this day they have 25% of food orders I choose the Duck and my husband chose the Vegan pie which he said we delicious and my Duck was excellent are friends enjoyed there food all very good value for money with the 25% reduction and will defiantly be going again and recommending to friends and family. this a great food and worth a visit,

Fabulous meal with the highlights being the pickled watermelon with the tomato and burrata for starter, the fish and chips for main and the peanut parfait. All made gluten free, thanks again, can't wait to be back!

This place is a little gem. If you are on holiday in this part of the Hampshire coastline you must try and get a booking for this place. Ignore the renovations to the exterior! The pub with garden serves fantastic food with lots of seafood, vegetarian and vegan options. Whilst working away they squeezed me and my friend in for an evening meal. The staff are lovely friendly people too!

Another amazing meal at the Falcon with my family. I have Coeliac disease (gluten free) and my daughter is a vegetarian, we are not easy to cook for. The staff could not have done more to help and the food, as always, was superb!

The food was fair but smaller portions than expected for the price, could do better. The service was slow considering there were only ourselves & a family of six!! The dessert of summer fruit crumble & ice cream was served in a tiny pot again overpriced. The waiter named Jordan had absolutely filthy trousers on which was off putting. If this venue wants to charge over inflated prices for small portions served up by scruffy staff, then a lot needs addressing. Unfortunately we will not be visiting again due to our huge disappointment.

This is a 5* for both food and service. The Falcon Inn is a pub experience like no other...Michelin Star quality food but with a uniquely charming, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere with non of the pomp. The Land Lady was an absolute star totally engaging with the diners and making my boyfriend and I laugh to no end. The service was snappy too and we loved it so much we in fact cancelled a booking we had elsewhere on our last night of our holiday to return for supper no. 2. Needless to say it did not disappoint and we had scallops and lobster accompanied by lots of fresh cocktails. The price point is incredible and both my boyfriend and I agreed it was the best lobster and scallops we'd ever eaten- which is a huge feat. Lastly the Chef came to say hello and check on our food during both dinners, again making us feel very special. What a place, will definitely be going back in a hurry!

So, we recently moved to the area, and have decided to begin trying out the culinary options near our new home. The Falcon Inn is truly a diamond hidden away, the food, staff, drink and ambiance were all amazing. Even with Covid restrictions, we were able to find a spacious table, and we're promptly offered a fantastic range of drinks, gin lovers and rum afficianados, they have you COVERED here! The food was in a word, spectacular, from appearance to taste, the highlights easily being the Shrimp, and the Duck. Highly recommended, and well worth the visit!

Been coming here a few times since restrictions were lifted and can honestly say a lovely little local establishment,the staff are lovely and can’t help enough although it’s such a shame that the land lady chooses to spend time sat down drinking then working like the rest of the staff Other than that a nice pub

Not the greatest of pubs due to its location

Great friendly service, absoloutely stunning food. My family and I have been a few times and always enjoyed ourselves. The chef is outstanding and the bar staff are extremely attentive and welcoming. Not a bad word to say! Cant wait to go back.

This is the second visit in between lockdowns and both have been superb. Their a Sunday Lunch is to die for and the staff can’t do enough to make you feel welcome. I do hope this pub survives the pandemic as they are definitely trying...
