Very nice fish and chips. Crispy batter and nice chips. Friendly service.

Awful experience. They hire children to cut on costs. Much more expensive than the other local chip shops. The chips I ate this evening were unconscionable.

This is most definitely the best fried batter! Even after 20 minutes till able to eat the takeaway the batter was still so crispy! Beautiful nosh! Thank you xx

Fresh food, usually busy but theh are professionals and communicate with customers well. Since there is not much space to wait inside for your order, you can wait outside to pave way for other customers

This is a little gem find. We were on our way to Calshot and wanted to find a chip shop so we could sit on the seaside and watch the boats on the solent and came across this place by accident, There was a queue outside, which is always a good sign and we weren't disappointed best fish and chips we have had in a long time, lovely and hot. Freshly cooked lovely, lovely, lovely only wished we lived closer so we could visit weekly

Lovely establishment. I noticed how impeccably clean it is as soon as I walked in. The staff were lovely and polite, made conversation with me while I waited for my food. The food itself was lovely! The chips were cooked beautifully and came in generous portions. My son had nuggets and they were real chicken, big thumbs up! Love that you can get chips in a box too, as we took ours down the road to eat on the beach. Would absolutely recommend this place and will definitely be visiting again!

I have been to lots of fish and chips shops but this has to be the best ever. Staff very friendly, the food is fantastic, not greasy like some are. Food is freshly cooked.

Always nice food here, does get very very busy and sometime will not answer the phone to try and keep up with the amount of people coming through the doors.

Visited Lepe beach yesterday, was getting late so decided to pop into this chippie and what a find it is , the staff are friendly and smiling the food is perfect Chips crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. Fish beautifully fried with a lovely crisp batter , we had the small portion fish and chips and for the first time in as long as I can remember ate it all and it was a comfortable amount no overeating, keep doing what you are doing you’ve got it just right. We will be back 😁

Lovely fish and chips, good value for money. Went in about half hour before closing and large battered sausage was unavailable but was offered 2 smaller battered sausages. Polite and friendly colleagues serving. Would highly recommend if in the area and would visit again .

Because of a throat problem can't eat chips so went and bought large cod no salt no vinegar. Took it home removed all that beautiful crispy batter and ate the fish . Was a gamble but I managed it and oh was it good

Food is really good, but they always run low on food sometime an hour before closing...might have to find a more reliable take away sadly

Impressive. Haddock and Cod fried to order. So hot they had to be allowed to cool down before eating. The shop operates a ticket system and one waits for the order to be cooked. I have not seen this outside of Germany. Thoroughly recommended.

So glad we found this superb shop. Omg the fish was amazing and chips cooked to perfection. We don't live near but is worth the travel simply outstanding and you must try the onion rings

Best Chip Shop in the Waterside by Far for quality but portions getting noticeably smaller over time offering less value for money than other local chip shops.

By far the best fish and chips I ever had. Fresh, tasty, not greasy. Generous portions. My 3yo loves chicken nuggets and cod bites. Me and hubby usually have cod and chips, scampi or pie and sausage with curry sauce. So far, I did not have food that I didn't like and we've been coming here for 3 years now. The place is always spootles, staff friendly and helpful. It's maybe not the cheapest, but quality is always there so we'll worth the price.

By far the best chippy on the waterside. Fresh and clean with great quality food at a reasonable price. Remember it's a takeaway not a restaurant the staff are always busy. I would recommend this chippy above all others in the area. It's a little bit more expensive than the rest but you get a good quality product for your money. If I had to find one little minor problem then I'd say please make the small portion of chips a little bit larger 😀.

Absolutely georgeous, I have used this chippy many times now and the standard has never slipped, cracking Haddock and Chips eaten on Calshot Beach. Excellent service, very friendly staff, food piping hot and fresh. I cannot recommend enough.

Very pleasant staff, great fish and chips to take to eat on Lepe beach. We were too busy chatting that the lovely lady forgot our curry sauce… she drove to Lepe and found us to give us the sauce before we even noticed it wasn’t there! What brilliant service!

I took my family there and had the best fish and chips we've eaten, great food perfectly cooked by friendly staff. My daughter's burger was also excellent, like others on here we took it to Lepe beach 5 minutes away. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful battered sausage, pea fritter and chips. Bought then eaten on Lepe beach as a family. Service was quick, efficient and friendly. Small seating area outside under the canopy, plenty of space to wait inside and lots of parking. Food was hot and tasted great. Highly recommend 👌

Best cod I've tasted for some time and at £7 for a large portion, well priced. Chips also very nice and again well priced with medium at £2.80. They taste even better if you take them to Lepe country park and enjoy whilst looking out over the Solent to the Isle of Wight!

Asked for medium cod and chips the fish was not as big as a fish finger, the wife had fish cakes and onion rings £16.00 in my mind not worth 16 pence DAYLIGHT ROBBERY!!!

We found this Fish & Chip shop on Google Maps and were excited by a 4.7 rating. We were not disappointed; excellent quality fish and plenty of chips. There are also some interesting additions to the menu which some of my dining partners had. There are tables outside for the fine weather and ample parking to fit up to 6 lifeboats and 4x4s outside. On this occasion we only had one with us though. Highly rated.

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago. It was so good I went back again just a few days later. Food was cooked to perfection and generously portioned. Chicken Nuggets are AMAZING!!!

After reading the reviews, I thought I'd give Zoutorias a try, but unfortunately I've got to say that I was a bit disappointed. 2 X large haddock and chips cost £19:60. The haddock was not very big and the portion of chips were also very small. Be be fair, the food tasted good, but I still actually felt hungry after finishing it. Maybe I was just unlucky, but I'll go back to my usual shop from now on.

Have just had the most amazing fish and chips ,the fish was fresh and the batter was so light and crispy,loads of chipsand not greasy ,also had the onion rings absolutely yummy.the staff were very friendly, and the shop itself very clean,will definitely be going back to try more off the menu

Wonderful! Passed through on our campervan holiday and visited Zoutorias. The very friendly staff suggested some nice places to visit, then threw in a free pea fritter for us to try! Delicious food and would visit again when back in the area.

Best Fish & Chips around here however don’t advertise online that you’re open until 08:30pm when you were closed from 07:59pm today! Really frustrating as we had driven over specifically to go to you guys.

This is our “go-to” fish and chips. Highly recommend, try the cod bites! (Think chicken nugget sized pieces of battered fish) Can be a bit slow as they cook everything fresh, so we call and order ahead

Today I ordered from Zoutorias for the first time. Very fresh and tasty produce, friendly staff and excellent value. Zoutorias is by far the best Fish and Chip shop on the Waterside and I will definitely be returning.

Superb fish and chips - this place has to be in the top 10 fish and chip shops in the UK - everything about the shop and the food is 10/10 - I just love it! We are so blessed to have such a quality place in our neighbourhood. Since writing this review we have been back more than 6 times and EVERY time the fish and the chips are the same consistent quality ,absolutely outstanding! Cooked to perfection and the place is clean and spotless. Well done

The best place in the waterside for fish and chips as far as I’m aware. You can ring up and order and collection is normally pretty quick. Everything is cooked fresh and prices are reasonable too.

The fish & chip above all others in the area.

We ordered 2 cods. Over large and one medium. The size of each was perfect. But one had the texture of cod (perfectly flaky, etc.). The other had a completely different texture (chewy and not flaky at all). I reckon the latter was whiting and not cod. Apart from this, the service was great and the rest of the food was awesome. But I feel ripped off and my meal was a bit rubbish with chewy fish. EDIT: Thanks for the response. I don't feel ripped off anymore.

Great fish and chips. Cooked in fresh oil and light and fluffy. Friendly staff and speedy service. Perfect location to grab a delicious takeaway, drive to Lepe beach and watch the sunset as you eat.

Amazing fish & chips (plus usual extras). We had a large group camping nearby and they accepted the order in advance. They even bagged everything by families and itemised a bill. Brilliant service and delicious food.

The cook could delegate some of the cooking and serving to another member of staff to speed up the process.

This is the best local fish and chip shop by a long way! The fish is always crispy on the outside and perfect inside, the chips are always great too. The portion sizes are also very good. Plus they will cater to gluten free needs too if you call ahead!

The best fish and chip shop around by a million miles fish is fresh and lightly battered and the chips are clean and fresh and I think that's due to the oil they use is such great quality. We will be back

Really good chippie, foods always good. Fish was perfectly battered and of a good size, thick white chunks (cod). Veggie burger is the best according to the wife and the chips are very good to. Its packaged well, cooked to order and generous in portion size. If you're near by its worth the trip.
