Lorna and Steph are the absolute heart of this pub, so welcoming. Good outdoor space, lots of events and parties! Great space for bands, karaoke and a dance!

I love this pub, always a warm welcome, beers always good and busy with friendly regulars. I’d recommend a night here!

Went to karaoke 🎤,great atmosphere lots of excellent singers cold drinks,staff were very. Friendly and polite, landlady was kind and welcoming, great little place to drink ,maybe should do simple snacks like rolls or ploughmans

The Elephant and castle team are so friendly and nothing is too much. Incredible entertainment, various fun evenings to get involved with ie Jenga League, and always a smile on their face. whether you pop in for a quick drink or a social evening, you will have a relaxing time and a very good laugh.

Perfect pub for a cheeky pint with your mates, with a wide selection of alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages. staff and friendly and the land lady has time for everyone that goes in there. all in all it’s a lovely place to be if you want good vibes and atmosphere.

Had a wonderful evening at this pub staff are very helpful and friendly… beer selection was great and also a wide selection on other drinks. Pub was very clean and toilets were also very clean. Garden was a little oasis very chilled and well kepted up together. Lorna and the team doing a fantastic job Will definitely be returning.

Again had a brilliant night here at what is known locally as “The Elle” A real mix of people. The staff are all so accommodating and always smiling. The manager is so welcoming and makes a point of having a chat and making sure you feel valued.

I absolutely love the food from here it’s proper pub grub and always made to feel so welcome!! It’s great that this pub and the one next door is still very inclusive and safe spaces for people like me and Totton! At least these people would never dream of booking Katie Hopkins. I can promise you now me and all my friends will definitely be coming here a lot more regularly.

I called in tonight there was no welcome and the beer that I was served was not what I would expect didn't finish it and went elsewhere Also much more expensive than the pub next door that serves the same

They were lovely, I'm sorry I forget their names. It was similar to "Jan and Bob" (that's my parents). You get the idea. I had a constructive bit of feedback. Spaghetti bolognese (delicious) goes up a notch with fresh ground black pepper. £10 for a mill in Sainsburys or wherever. The Doom Bar was real and excellent. "Jan" was very complimentary about my deep baritone voice.

Haven’t been in this pub in years but popped in today and it’s great! Lovely selection of beers and a fantastic beer garden. Spotless toilets and really friendly bar staff. Give it a try!

Years since I’ve been in the Ele but spotted that they had a beer garden. Inside is absolutely spotless including the loos. Really friendly staff, great selection of beers and the beer garden is great. A few TVs around so you can catch up on the footie if there is any on. Lovely surprise and will be back!

I dropped in for an afternoon breakfast and drink, first time I'd been in the E&C. The landlord and land lady are very friendly and I had a good chat with a few other customers. There are so few real pubs like this, a nice place that hasn't been "modernised". Will go back one evening and have a game of pool or darts (how often do you see a games area?) Oh, and the prices are very good and the food was great.

The Elephant and Castle in totton wot a lovely pub with very friendly staff and the clientele who drink there are all very friendly I've been drinking in there all the beers are very good the Guinness is a very good pint I was talking to landlady and landlord last sam and Jerry thay are both very friendly and helpful if you do come to totton go in the pub and you will be made very welcome

We planned to make a visit for lunch after hearing good reviews from a friend who's a regular there but we left frustrated and disappointed after being spoken to rudly by one of the team members. The team member was questioning my partners lack of mask as she has a hidden disability and despite showing an app provided by the government website, the team member rudly told us we had to have a lanyard. We have no objections to being asked about a mask but we didn't appreciate the way the team member approached us about it. They were very abrupt and rude about it. We were to be given an exception as a one off but we were so frustrated with the way we were spoken too that we decided to leave without ordering.
