The best restaurants in Ashurst, Copythorne South and Netley Marsh New Forest South East

I haven’t been into the cafe but it looks welcoming and cosy. I actually had a flat tyre right outside and while I waited for the RAC to arrive, the owners (mother and daughter) came out to enquire whether I was ok. They were closed, but they invited me in. I wanted to wait with my car so as not to miss the RAC, so they brought me out a takeaway coffee, on the house, and logged my phone onto their WiFi. Such kindness is rare! I would recommend them for their thoughtfulness and care. The coffee was delicious by the way!

This is amazing little Cafe but unfortunately we only get to go when we are on holiday 🥲 The owner is so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. And the food is extremely good and always fresh. We always have a chat and are made to feel most welcome. Love it ❤️

We stayed here last summer and it was lovely. However, having booked again for us and disabled family, our bookings were abruptly cancelled because they’ve decided to chase bigger money event clients. (Or some such barely legible nonsense) Really unreliable, greedy and unprofessional. Honestly, they don’t deserve the 5* review I left last time. Good luck chasing the big money.

This is a great dog friendly hotel under new management. Great walks into the new forest from the hotel garden.

Great place for a curry with the (old) lads. Always top notch! Welcoming staff, amazing curry great beer what more do you need!

I visited the pub to meet a friend and usually it is fab, but they had live music which normally I enjoy. However the music was so loud it hurt my ears and it was not possible to hear so I left. I mouthed to a few people that I knew that it was too loud and left. I realise people in the pub were having a fun time but it was deadening. There was no need to have this loud.

The Restaurant Pub is still as relaxing, cosy and luxurious as it was when I last visited there some months ago.

They slotted us in as they were fully booked. Lovely staff and great service. We had the fish & chips, ham egg & chips and children’s macaroni cheese. It was lovely. Really nice atmosphere

Great for coeliacs and all with allergies

Booked an early evening meal here with friends on New years eve. Been recommended. It was a bit quite. Didn't know really what to expect. Traditional English pub now with an Indian twist. Wow, What great food, We can honestly say , this was the best Indian meal we have had in recent years.
