Great cafe, lovely owner who's always up for a chat even when she's busy. Reasonably priced, well made food. Had very nice bacon sandwich last time I was there. Highly recommend popping in if you are passing.

I haven’t been into the cafe but it looks welcoming and cosy. I actually had a flat tyre right outside and while I waited for the RAC to arrive, the owners (mother and daughter) came out to enquire whether I was ok. They were closed, but they invited me in. I wanted to wait with my car so as not to miss the RAC, so they brought me out a takeaway coffee, on the house, and logged my phone onto their WiFi. Such kindness is rare! I would recommend them for their thoughtfulness and care. The coffee was delicious by the way!

We stayed here last summer and it was lovely. However, having booked again for us and disabled family, our bookings were abruptly cancelled because they’ve decided to chase bigger money event clients. (Or some such barely legible nonsense) Really unreliable, greedy and unprofessional. Honestly, they don’t deserve the 5* review I left last time. Good luck chasing the big money.

Best meal out ! Food was very good . Staff were friendly working hard so you weren’t left waiting for long although it was busy . We had four different curries on our table and they were all delicious. Thank you for a lovely evening ! Recommend!

Honestly the food is this pub was amazing. Real top quality, freshly cooked tasting food. Came here for the first time today with my girlfriend and will definitely not be afraid to return. The young lady who runs the pub is very polite and welcoming and she should be pretty proud of the little pub she’s got going at the moment.

Best scallops I ever had. The warm cookie dough was magnificent!

We happened to be driving past the Happy Cheese this afternoon (sunny Sunday of the bank holiday) - We noticed that the outside area was busy and decided it must be a good place to grab a bite! We ordered the mega Sunday roast and kids Sunday roast and they were amazing. Best roast I have eaten for years, we ate outside in the sunshine and it was lovely. Small play area for young children and tables are well spaced and you don’t feel like you are squished in/sitting on top of others. Special mention to the front of house Lucy (assume the manager, she was so helpful and went to check if there was a wait for food for me) good vibes and everyone was chatting away. Nothing felt like too much trouble and we felt welcomed! Our meal was £30 total - felt this was really great value, so much food on those Sunday roasts, and a good variety of sides! If we are coming through the area again we’ll stop in for sure - maybe even an overnight in our camper. Thanks again, a great find ⭐️

Went for breakfast on Saturday morning. Week later got parking fine through post for 60 pounds. Didn't see any signs no staff said anything to us....won't be going back here.and will advise everyone I meet... avoid !!!...disgusting ...food was only just warm and ended up standing waiting for eggs to be cooked...please find somewhere better it won't be hard.
